zyxw01Insulin resistanceIf you haven’t presented this topic before, it would be helpful for those who give short acting insulin injections with every meal. As I’ve gotten older (almost 50 years with T1) I find the action time to increasingly be unpredictable. 10 to 60 minutes to never, as if I never gave the shot. Obviously this makes timing of meals difficult. Doesn’t matter where I inject and I rotate sites regularly. Doctor has examined my injection locations regularly and finds no anomalies. Any insights for the age factor?

Nicole ---Keep 'em coming!I was diagnosed with T1D last month and this podcast has been so calming, so supportive, and so informative. They take tough topics and make them light and palatable. I always leave more optimistic then before. Thank you!

Lynnt29Finally!I’m an RD/CDE and Type 1 spouse who’s not currently working and I love all the recent research and new products you highlight in your emails and videos. This is one more way to help me stay connected to the diabetes world while I take some time off. Love how you keep it light and interesting! But the intro music is way too long!

jattzlI am beyond grateful for TCOYD!Couldn’t relate to the cardiologist today. Trauma from years of lectures and judgement from perfect people. Just my own issues. Fantastic, clear, informative podcast! I learned more in the last hour about current T1 advancements than hours of research. I feel like TCOYD are family. I follow everything you do. You have changed my life! Thank you for your time and dedication. Please open up the in person conferences again!

Big socialSweet spotJust binge listened to all the episodes. Couldn’t have been better…well maybe English accents might sound better. So much info with a side of humor and hope for the future. As an RN really liked the Science episode, as it is developing as well. You bring the Universe of Diabetes down to a personal level or have an expert that does it even better. Thanks for the podcasts.

rdh1076BravoJust finished episode 4. Very informative to a 67 year old LADA patient who was diagnosed in Nov 2020. Always learn something from TCOYD whether from web, videos, conferences and now podcasts. Thank you for performing this service to those who want to be full participants in their type 1 diabetes control and management.

sparkybemisTCOYD podcastsI love your podcasts. I feel involved with all of your knowledgeable discussions. I have had Type 1 diabetes for 44 years. I am lucky that I can still be active . My diagnosis was in the late 1970s. So, when I heard about the care in 1970, I realized that an extra 9 years with a meter probably made my sugars better. My care was terrible . Luckily, I read and decided to buy my own meter and attempted to be closer to “normal “ blood sugars. I love hearing about the new advances. Keep up the podcasts. Thank you

joeamatiSuper Informative and helpfulOur daughter has had T1D for almost 15 years and we’ve had to learn a lot over time. Nevertheless Dr. Steve and Dr. Jeremy always teach us something new. During the pandemic, we have “attended” all the TCOYD virtual conventions, have watched a huge number of their videos on YouTube, and now have the great fortune to be able to listen to their podcast. You guys are truly amazing and generous human beings. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Obem00Good Content - I look forward to this for my long commuteI really appreciate this podcast. I’m a well educated and well co trolled diabetic (diagnosed 41 years ago) always looking for relevant diabetes education that is not too basic. This podcast hits the mark. I live in the San Diego area and drive to Orange County every day. I look forward to new episodes to pass the time. Keep up the good work.

Cody_ThreeBZineGreat content!TCOYD has created and produced a phenomenal experience with their new podcast. It has already provided so much needed and necessary information for mine, and my friends and families lives. Even as someone who is not living with T1 or T2, I have expanded my knowledge through these episodes. The information is invaluable, and the show is hosted and produced with a high level of professionalism. Highly recommended.

SamsGirl2002Thank you TCOYDThank you for this great podcast. I was diagnosed with Type 2 in 2002, and fortunately have been able, most of the time, to keep my glucose in pretty good to excellent control. I’ve attended two or three of the virtual conferences and have really enjoyed them. I don’t always have a lot of spare time to watch the videos online so it’s great to be able to listen while driving etc. It will continue to listen and will share TCOYD with other diabetics. And please keep sharing this valuable information! We need it!

62 years of T1DDavid WinklerThe two of you are inspirational. You are the best at helping those of us with diabetes live long, hopeful and meaningful lives. Thank you for being such fine examples. Keep up your great work with realism and humor.

ok1289RememberingThanks for taking me down memory lane 61 years ago. As a teenager you don’t want to feel embarrassed and singled out as being different. Having a parent correct you at a table of people in a restaurant was so embarrassing. You can’t get away from the Diabetic Police even as an adult.

ezekiel44A T1 friendTCOYD has been like having that T1 friend that I never had. Having you both talk about your experiences makes me feel not so isolated. I was diagnosed 44 years ago at age 15( one shot in the morning and urine testing using a dropper and test tube ). Loved listening while I did some spring cleanup in the yard. Thankyou and keep up the good work. You are appreciated :)
