Thank you Loryn. Others - give this a listen.
Needed this. Wish I could say more than thank you. Wish I could share with everyone but for now, just going to listen and hold onto the words as I walk this… one step at a time.

    Grateful
I lost my father in December 2021, I was feeling very low over the past weekend and came across this podcast while I was looking for something to lift me up that focused on grief. I listened to “Grief of losing a parent” and I am so grateful I stumbled upon this. I felt every emotion while listening to it but once it was over I felt reassured/understood and like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I cannot explain exactly how it made me feel but I felt better after listening to it. Thank you for sharing your stories with others💝

    Grief is hard
Man oh man. Where to begin. This podcast has been a life raft to me ever since I found it. When you lose anyone, especially a parent, you begin to think you are crazy. This podcast helps me see that I am not crazy but just in grief mode; that I’m never alone. If I could rate this 100000 stars, I would.

    Stellar Podcast
I am not a podcast person. I listen to maybe three podcasts, inconsistently, but I love the way this podcast and the host discuss grief with guests. I found Loryn’s podcast this fall after my mother died by suicide in September, and found such comfort in hearing the frankness and honesty with which Loryn and her guests discuss grief. It is refreshing, and I can’t recommend this podcast enough for anyone grieving, watching someone grieve, or wanting to know more about grief.

    Helpful podcast
Through this podcast I have had a lot of realisations as a young adult who has been dealing with disenfranchised grief for about a month now. This podcast helped me realise that my grief is valid, and that because our relationships with people are complicated...grief will be the same way.

Finally, A Podcast I Can Relate to!
I stumbled upon this podcast and let me tell you! Grief is a touchy subject and the host has been able to break it down for me in ways that have helped to heal my soul. I am so grateful to know that I am not alone in my journey and that it’s a process (sometimes life long, and that’s okay!). Thank you to the lovely lady who hosts for making me feel like I’m not alone.

What we needed and didn’t know it!
For a long time I looked at grief as something that was linear, time constrained or even limited to the death of a loved one but this podcast has been a resource that I’ve been able to glean from and share with my friends! Highly recommend!
