I had high hopes for this podcast since I liked her books. However, I don’t see anything positive or happy with her podcast. I have tried several episodes in hope that it was just that episode but I find all of them negative.

I used to admire Michelle Obama but it’s clear she was putting on an act and now she is finally revealing who she really is. Go away.

If there was the option of giving a negative rating I would have. The only thing worse listening to more than this is THE VIEW. I can not believe this was once our First Lady. Hates white people, America, all conservatives. Complains about everything. She’s a multimillionaire with 3 houses, healthy children etc.

What a waste of time

Michelle, you’re truly an ungrateful and thoughtless human being. You’re one of the luckiest people on the planet, but it’s still not good enough. Sad.

Michelle, Craig, and their guests dive into some very thought provoking topics. Would definitely recommend.

Love this pod! It started off slow but the more I listen I love everything! Michelle and her brother are a fresh breathe of air and this pod is for GROWN UPS! Great topics, great guest and interesting conversations.

Her most recent episode about saying no was so good. To know that Michelle still thinks “Am I enough?!” should calm anyone’s imposter syndrome fears. Michelle - thank you for saying no to the inauguration. If you can do that, women + POC (and anyone) everywhere can set boundaries and find their own peace.

Clearly there are some bots/paid haters out there trying to convince us otherwise, but this is an enjoyable show with great hosts and guests.

Thank you for IMO…a much needed bucket filler! The most recent episode on saying “no,” really hit home. Michelle, when you were talking about being enough and defining your success and life in your own terms, it brought tears to my eyes! You are a beautiful person, inside and out! BTW…I was so proud of you for saying “no” to the inauguration! ♥️♥️

Hard to get into the rhythm of the content because the advertisements come too frequently and for too long. Disappointing because I like most of the conversations. I often find myself confused listening to the conversation only to realize the guest is gone and it’s another ad. We’re talking about someone doing laundry at an Airbnb and the smell of Pinesol for the next 4 minutes. Episodes that are particularly daunting, like the HSN, are when the guest spends the majority of their time promoting their hair care product, Michelle promotes Higher Ground content and I listen to multiple 3 min ad breaks with 20 second musical intro/outros. Feels like an hour long informercial. In one episode I counted 10 different sponsors and guest product mentions — yikes ! It’s too distracting. I will compliment Craig on hosting. He understands the medium is podcast and has articulated what’s occurring in a room for listeners. I hear him refocusing the conversation back to answer the listener question. I also appreciate when he says “this episode brought to you by…” Good job, Craig. Recommendation: lose the long music outros. Say you’re taking an ad break, and “we’re back”. Keep the ads short and fresh each episode. Then get back to the content.

I first heard an episode of this podcast when it shared an episode with The Happiness Lab, hosted by Dr. Santos. I found the conversation thoughtful, meaningful, and packed with really good insight. Very pleased with my new found podcast so far. The hosts have brought on interesting guests who have these really lovely nuggets of knowledge to share with the listener. It is a very good “feeding the soul” kind of podcast ☺️

The way you haven't missed with a single guest so far should be studied! But in truth, I think your guests are a reflection of who you both are—authentic, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Thank you for creating a platform to share your experiences and perspectives with us. I know 'IMO' is an acronym for 'in my opinion,' but tell me the truth—does it actually stand for In Michelle’s Opinion in this case?

I had put this show in my queue, but wasn’t sure when it would come up, so it was a delightful surprise when it did! I love the bro/sis relationship. It honestly made me sigh - to hear nice, funny, relatable people - & so lovely to hear Michelle’s normalness again. I think I’m going to listen to this a lot. (It’s a bit of a relief from true crime.) Normal, kind, adorable people. Love it!

I really love this podcast. Very informative and I enjoy listening to Mrs. Obama and Craig give their different perspectives-yet often alike on various topics.

I do like the podcast but, it seems rushed like they’re on a time crunch. The conversations should be longer and maybe fewer or shorter commercials.

Listening to an infomercial is more entertaining than this insufferable podcast

If you are looking for some lighthearted yet serious and honest conversation, I highly recommend this podcast! As a teenager trying to figure out my life in the moment and in the future, I have loved listening to the former First Lady and her brother chat about all of these incredible topics. Thank you Michelle and Craig for your vulnerability, honesty, and thoughtfulness! ❤️

I’m absolutely loving this podcast! There’s so much wisdom shared between Mrs. Obama and Mr. Robinson. Each episode has been fantastic, packed with insights, and the guests are incredible—I genuinely enjoy all of them! However, my favorite has to be the recent one featuring Elaine; it was truly everything. I’ve listened to it three times, and everything she and Mrs. Obama discussed felt like it was directed right at me. I hope there will be more episodes like that because it was simply amazing. In my eyes, Mrs. Obama can do no wrong. I've been wanting her to launch a full-time podcast for ages, as her voice is so soothing and everything she says resonates deeply with me. I’m incredibly excited about this podcast! Each episode is outstanding, and if I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would!

Three-peat podcast disaster - third try for Michelle. Podcasting is just not her thing. She should know when to tap out in order to save her reputation. Nobody wants to listen to you bad-mouthing your husband, it’s irritating.

Thank goodness I finally heard your voice. I’m looking to the strong women with the voices that reach so many of us particularly in times of despair…and there you are. Iheard the interview with Dr. Laurie Santos and am inspired. Thank you. I will go forward with the message that we have power.

I drive for a living and this podcast is great for making the time pass. It’s refreshing.👏🏻 it takes your mind off of all the negativity going on around us.

The title says it all. Don’t waste your time on a garbage podcast. You deserve better than this, from someone who doesn’t hate America.

I absolutely love this podcast. It feels like a conversation with family. I’ve never been one for small talk even when people are strangers. This dives into the heart of life, in a way that makes no one feel like a stranger and honors our collective experience. The brother / sister dynamic is so relatable yet, the depth of the connection you two have is also inspirational. Please keep it coming!

I had high hopes for this podcast as I am a big fan of Michelle. However this is a very boring pod. I’ve listened to a few episodes and I’m sorry but it’s just not interesting. More behind the scenes stories from your time in the White House would be great!
