I've listened to several of these two-minute audio clip by Dr. Grauer. 'Travelers in the Night' is very formative at any level of knowledge for the listener and compels the listener to research further into the broadcasted astronomical topic. I personally have learned a lot on a wide variety of astronomy material.

Science is wonderful, but science programs can be very dry, pedantic, and much like a heaping helping of bland oatmeal. Not so with Travelers in the Night! Dr Al Grauer weaves his decades of science knowledge and experience with his ability to explain complex subject matter to the average person into a wonderful dose of informative and entertaining science. Each installment of Travelers in the Night is a short, engaging, sweet spoonful of great science... A truly tasty scientific treat from a truly great scientist that is also rich with great information about a topic we should all sit up and pay attention to. I highly recommend this informative series. Give Travelers in the Night a listen. You’ll be hooked from the first podcast you listen to!

This is an excellent podcast for anyone interested in, or concerned about, asteroids, comets and the impact threat. Hosted by Dr. Al Grauer, one of the astronomers working in Near Earth Object detection, each episode reports on some aspect related to the rocks that are our fellow cosmic travelers as well as our biggest threats. Highly recommended, very informative.

Interesting and timely, this podcast doesn't take up too much of my time, but gives just enoughbackground and information to put the new discoveries into perspective. Best of all it's produced by someone who actually finds Near Earth Asteroids!

There are awesome, brief, and very informative segments about asteroids and comets. Each one is contains information about a recent event or scientific finding. These segments are written by a real comet and asteroid-hunting scientist! A great resource for everyone, even those who are familiar with astronomy.

Excellent broadcast for anyone curious about or engaged in astronomy. Al covers fascinating topics for those new to astronomy but also provides news updates, particularly about asteroid and comet discoveries, that astronomers like myself appreciate. Al's casual style is easy to listen to.
