NovaCove-islandSci-fi podcasting done well! This was one of the first podcasts I listened to back in the day, and it has continued to shine! The dark comedy is so well balanced, and the lore is straight up fun. Highly recommend!

3DuggieHas anyone else notice that the story and plot seem very very close to our reality!Ok Covid started the same time this story had to stop and was in very relatable to the current situation before it was anoticed. Or am I wrong ?? Anyways Adam come on what’s going on with the rest of the story do t leave me hang..!
-
deadenedglowA must listen and relisten!I listen to SAYER when it first came out and it still gives me the same good uncomfortableness when I first listened to it. Same murderous AIs that make it a good sci-fi horror.
-
BoredandrandomHype!I’m SO glad Sayer has updated again! I missed this sarcastic AI so much
-
MeadMegDystopia SFA meteorite hits earth, wiping out Pacific Northwest. Luckily one of the leading companies has a helpful AI that will help everyone recover. Sayer never lies and is always so helpful and efficient.

Judg3sI miss SAYERSuper great podcast and I would love for it to come back and I’ll be waiting till it does hopefully

STSJLSTop 3 all time favsThis podcast is so enthralling!! My only issue with it is that the last episode dropped was the beginning of a season (literally the first episode of a new season), and it was dropped 18 MONTHS ago. Like… what?? There is literally zero explanation I could find for this, which is even more frustrating. If you want a complete story, wait until this podcaster finishes his work.

epicNtekBeesDespite what your senses may tell you, there are no bees on Typhon. Do not be confused by your frankly barely operational auditory sensory organs. THERE. ARE. NO. BEES. ON. TYPHON.
-
LoveBoots59Please come back!Love this pod. Please come back. Understand that the pandemic storyline might have been insensitive. But a great story and great characters are ageless. Please come back.

angeryangyCouldn’t be betterA perfect mix between Welcome to Night Vale, Wolf 359, and the SCP Foundation . Flawless pacing, smooth narration, and a good balance of humor and genuine psychological horror. Totally worth listening to.

LatinTeacher86Highly recommendedGreat sci fi podcast! Highly recommend it!

YosoyelquesoBoredSooo..... I made it to episode 12 of season 1. I cannot deal with the entire narrative being time from a single voice/ perspective. I am now giving up on this show. Concept is a bit lazy ... storyline / idea is not terrible ... but it’s like listening to a first person narrative of a single player game where you are blindfolded. Super irritating
-
m0bbin_babeSuch an immersive narrativeI started listening to this on a road trip; I had caught up on all my other podcasts and this one came up on a search of podcasts similar to We’re Alive. I LOVE sci-fi/horror stories and this is fantastic. It’s original and puts you right in the middle of the action in a great way. I’ve got hours to drive tomorrow and no service during the drive through the mountains, so I’ve got so many episodes downloaded in preparation. I actually can’t wait for the drive so I can continue the story uninterrupted!
-
theFrederickI am Sayer, and you should listen. This podcast is a complete alternate future where artificial intelligences are in charge of most day-to-day operations while the real decisions are made by an invisible corporate body. Because that’s nothing like our Apple/Google/Amazon present. Check your Facebook feed first. Sayer is brilliant dystopia, try it—it will slay you!

SlamjammEdited- Actually great podcastOriginally I had said this podcast was bad and boring after listening to 5 episodes. Okay listening to only 5 wasn’t enough to really get into it and start really liking it. You need to listen a good 10 episodes to love this podcast. Season 2 on it’s good but for me season 3 and 4 are superb. Haven’t listened to season 5 yet but I’m sure I will love it as well.

DPinksterTop notchProbably listened to this show 5 times and still hasn’t gotten old...

#71395Low-Key obsessedI found this podcast while looking for good ones to listen to since I had finished my previous one. The first episode was kind of strange and had me on edge about whether or not I’d like it. I continued to listen anyways as I liked the fact that “you” were in it. Once it got into the real storyline part and all of the action started happening, I got hooked. I’ve been listening for two days and I’ve gone through 40 episodes. One of my friends has only been listening for a day and is 23 episodes in. We love making jokes about some of the one liners, like THERE ARE NO BEES ON TYPHON, and CHUNKS HAPPEN. I’d highly recommend SAYER for anyone who liked Sci-fi and who likes being a part of the action. It’s incredibly interesting and you never know what’s going to happen next. Love this SOOO much.

JBG Garage CraftsNot what I expectedI first heard about this podcast from the Moon Cop series that they did on Geekly Inc's Random Encounter feed, which was a fate base series in this universe. Expecting to listen to something similar, was taken back on what this podcast actually was. It is difficult to explain what it actually is but give it a listen and you will get hooked to see what happens next.

agirlnamedtexI should’ve written this review a while agoThis is one of my very favorite podcasts I have ever listened to — comparable to Welcome to Night Vale or Wolf 359. Between the cosmic horror, sound design, and amazing dialogue, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys horror, sci-fi, or a mix of the two.
-
~slpblue~Thrillingly creepyI’m only a handful of episodes in (eight, to be exact), but already the story and creepy omniscience of SAYER has me hooked! I’m also extremely impressed with and thankful for how little characters there are. We have SAYER, the person to whom the AI is speaking, and a handful of other residents. There is nothing to keep track of, as SAYER explains everything, and there isn’t a crazy large cast to differentiate between, leaving you confused and trying to distinguish between characters. The voice acting and sound effects are FANTASTIC, and I’m exceedingly excited to see where else this podcast goes.
-
calliromeAmazing PodcastThis delightful romp into dysotopian sci-fi is a must listen! Adam Bash and co weave an engaging and addicting story that will keep you coming back for more. Can’t recommend this enough.
-
MRuffininconsistent uploads, but interestingthis is a show i’d almost recommend listening to in binge, after the whole season is out. the spaced out, staggered uploads can be kind of irritating when a lot of the plot is contingent on you remembering what’s actually going on. other than that, it’s a great deal of fun! i donated to the past few kickstarters despite the inconsistency (which probably contributes to my irritation), but i don’t regret it at all — it’s a good time nonetheless

JadeDozleGreat stuff! Calming, creepy and funnyThis podcast has me hooked. Sayers voice is super calming, most of the time... however, keep listening. Focus on those words. Not so calming any more. I’m still new to listening to this one, but already I am liking what I am hearing. Thanks for putting together a great podcast! Helps me get through my work days.

McStevensonenovSo Much Promise...So much promise totally squandered. It started out really interesting, but after the first dozen episodes it rapidly devolves into dispose after episode of a rouge AI killing scores of people, and no one doing anything about it or acting like anything is amiss. Between the endless eye-rollingly ridiculous pseudo-philosophical rants the AI goes on and character after mindless character walking like lemmings off of a cliff, I just can’t take it anymore. There are too many gapping plot holes and internal contradictions for me to suspend my disbelief any more. I REALLY wanted to like this show, and I gave it 30 episodes to get back on some kind of track, but it just won’t.

SerTyrionSo goodWorth listening to multiple times.

Father NicknameGreat dark comedyHooked from first episode.

papayaladyNever Not GoodLongtime listener of SAYER. I remember when Adam originally ended the show at the end of season 3, I was upset, but they’ve kept it going! The best fiction podcast around, and my personal favorite podcast of all. Go listen, you won’t be disappointed. Maybe you can come join me in Aegis.
-
justkatyAddictively weirdI just found this podcast recently, so I’m just in season 1. It’s so strange, but I just can’t stop listening.
-
just4drunkdragonsThere are NO BEES in this reviewBut I’m pretty sure there are some on Typhon. Listen to this podcast. Preferably in the dark, eyes closed, headphones or earbuds turned up and teetering on the edge of painful. Every time I try to tell someone about this podcast I end up sounding like a crazy person. It’s that good.

knittingirl of podcastsLong time fanI've been listening for about two years, and Sayer is honestly one of my favourite podcasts. It's darkly comedic horror-flavoured sci-fi, it's executed extremely well, and it regularly brings up existential questions on topics like personal identity in a fascinating way. It has both great stand-alone episodes and a strong overall narrative. I eagerly await season 6, and advise you to start binging now! P.S. If the audio quality on early episodes bothers you, check further up the feed for remastered versions. Adam's done the first 6 at the time of writing, and I believe he's planning on all of season 1 (first 12 episodes).

SnarkyjohnnyCreepy but in a great way.Love this show. I just began it but already I am hooked. The creepy computer voice is amazing as well as his inflection make it a must listen.
-
koboldinventorSayer goodI just found it a few days ago after finishing brute force. Is good. Now my favorite podcast and almost done.
-
xSckitxA new favorite!I just discovered this show recently and have only made it to episode 4 so far but I am IN LOVE. It's creepy and weird in the BEST ways possible! I've been recommending it to anyone I can as well as yelling about it on twitter. How have I not heard of it sooner??

bitme247Nothing like it!If you like System Shock, BioShock, Welcome to Night Vale, or Limetown this show is for you definitely nothing like it anywhere else
-
Bobby--TablesI love it!Great story that feels like the best/creepiest meditation

Jenna B031619Pretty GoodI like the concept of this podcast, it’s creepy and suspenseful but it’s starting to feel a bit formulaic. Some random resident of Typhon is contacted by Sayer with the news that they’re promoted/being transferred/have won an award. Then Sayer spouts hella expose’ about the situation. Then Sayer reveals some transgression the employee has done and we learn the promotion/transfer/award is really just petty revenge for whatever thing the person did and it’s heavily implied they’ll die or wish they were dead. Not suspenseful when you can predict with 100% accuracy what will happen. I love the episodes where Sayer, Ocean and Future are all pitted against each other or where “You” have to complete some task under the radar.
-
ch1cky1We are all safe with SayerHumans are well cared for under SAYER’s watch, exactly as their employment agreement states. This podcast is one of the best I’ve found, scripted and produced flawlessly. There is so much to enjoy. I highly recommend SAYER!
-
aaronplayzgamezAmazingIf you like black mirror or SCP containment breach or dark stories you will love this
-
CuteHedgyHogSimply IncredibleEasily one of my favorite pieces of fiction. The AIs are all unique, distinct, and terrifying. SAYER will always be my favorite though and my digital crush. No matter how many episodes I listen to, it never fails to give me that sinking feeling of dread every time. I even got my Mom to listen! My only regret is I never got to contribute to the Kickstarters. But rest assured, this podcast will have my full support in the future!
-
CatMathhMOST SATISFACTORYThis is my favorite fiction podcast by far, and I really can’t recommend it enough. SAYER is dark, witty, and constantly playing with your expectations. The series begins very episodic but builds up to so much more, and oh BOY does it go places. The AI characters are all fascinatingly complicated and inspire equal amounts endearment and well… total, all-consuming fear. If you have even a passing interest in science fiction and horror you have to check this out!
-
MattammusSci-Fi with mild horror elements. Great stuff.Possibly my favorite fiction podcast. The format of the show is fantastic, with sound design that really feels quite intense and helps to immerse the listener in the current plight of whichever Resident the episode is about.

Max DucksAn Update After Each SeasonOkay, I’ll try to leave out as many spoilers as possible for new listeners. I’ll update after every season I listen to. Season 1: HOLY CRAP, WHAT?! Was the box real or not?! Why was the agent looking for Anna?! Why did Sayer call Jack “President”?! WHAT’S IN FLOOR 13?!
