    I love these stories
I really enjoy the plays and the discussions after. Great podcasts

    Lacks Creativity
Super woke, divisive, and worst of all boring. Unfortunately, fiction these days (for the most part) lacks creativity. This show gives a platform to such works. Playing On Air is topical and lacks depth. There is always a political agenda lurking within the constructs of every story. This isn’t art. It’s a propaganda tool, but if you’re old, white, woke, and enjoy boring stories, then this is the perfect podcast for you. As for me, I prefer well written stories that explore the depth of humanity. I prefer timeless literature that leaves a long-standing impression on me mentally and emotionally, so I’ll seek that elsewhere. Unsubscribed.

A spectrum of delightful human conundrums
Beautifully executed little plays. They accompany me everywhere.

    A wonderful discovery
Love this podcast. I was raised on BBC radio theater which I loved and have missed, but this is a wonderful discovery. The plays are short and ideal for walking my dog. Thanks to all, I’m very appreciative.

    Perfect
I love the short plays. I listen to them while cooking and doing household chores, as well as walking around my home just to get some extra steps on for the day. I find myself looking for more to do in the kitchen or more cleaning and walking just so I can continue and listen to more. This is wonderful and I love the talkbacks.

BEST introduction to theatre for us newbies!!!!
I didn't grow up attending plays, or know anyone who did, so theatre always felt very unaccessible...until now! Playing on Air not only provides entertainment, but also allows anyone and everyone to access remarkable theater in the comfort of their home. THANK YOU and keep up the good work!!! The new season is fantastic!!!!

    Refreshing
Just discovered this and already am addicted. Thank you so much for allowing me another way to exercise my mind during this bizarre time spent in isolation.

    Very Entertaining!
Playing On Air is so great for thoughtful, bite-sized pieces of playwriting. Each episode is a recorded short play and they are free and fun to listen to.

Greatest distraction during this weird time...
The hardest part of this shelter-in-place period is the limited access to theater and other performing art venues, Playing on Air filled that gap with this exciting new season! The Clam is so joyous and a wonderful comedy piece to ease this lockdown days and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. Definitely a Must-Listen for this weird time and beyond.

    Perfect timing!
The isolation of the clam finding an opportunity for new perspective was quite timely as the world tries to do the same during this time of Covid 19.

    Bringing Back Radio Theater
I love this podcast. I’ve heard my parents and grandparents talk about crowding around the radio and listening to their programs. Playing on Air is revitalizing this era. It doesn’t hurt that the actors are great and the plays are consistenly good. The after chats with the playwrights are enlightening and enjoyable.

    A Super Fun Listen
This is such a fun podcast! On some days it’s the only thing that keeps me sane when I’m commuting on the subway.

    Thank you, Playing on Air!
There’s something for everyone and every mood here, as well as short (5 minutes, even!) and longer plays, so you can always find exactly what you’re looking for to pass the time. Playing on Air is a treasure!

How did I not know about this?!
I’ve been a theater person since I was 5 and I can’t believe I didn’t find out about this podcast til now. It’s one of my faves - super easy to access radio plays with incredible actors & writers (helloooo timothee!) and I’m always left wanting more! Highly recommend.

    Next big thing for theater
Unbelievable performers - Audra McDonald and Michelle Williams!?! - deeply entertaining, and very bingeable. This is the podcast that every theater person has been dreaming of. An amazing discovery!

    Well produced and entertaining
I’m enjoying getting lost in these radio plays. I get both sucked into the theater, and also into an era of radio acting that I imagine myself time traveling back to. Really well done.

    Great podcast, positive restucture
I have been following Playing on Air for a while. Recently, they started releasing one story per episode, instead of multiple performances, which I like a little better. Excellent selections and great performances. Highly recommended.

Theatre Geeks of the Podcast World Unite, This show should be a hit!
Short plays are like poems and not all of them will be to your taste, that being said I loved everything in the first three episodes. This show also gives you an interview with the Playwright that wrote the play you just heard. This is a huge extra to writers out in the middle of nowhere. Good Host that asks interesting questions. This Podcast is a must for Theatre Geeks and Theatre Lovers, and also fans of Radio Drama.

    Fantastic!
Playing On Air is the best! What I love about this show is the way it so seamlessly transports you into other worlds, vibrant and various. The episodes are pithy and thoughful, always leaving me full of thoughts and wishing for more.

    Playing On Air is fantastic!
I'm a big fan of The Moth and Selected Shorts and this podcast is similarly awesome. Playing On Air is intimate and smart and a great resource for contemporary theater lovers. Amazing, amazing casts. Great production quality. The interviews with the writers are my favorite part.
