I listened with interest to the guy that gave you a four star rating but teased that he would increase it to five stars with improvement. My suspicion is, he will be less than inclined to change anything with the recent performance of the team. Regardless of your performance as a podcaster. I have loved your show for years now, and I have resisted the urge to give a less than five star rating just to hopefully get my name mentioned on your show. (BC you *did *set the precedent) Still, I think you have one of the best shows dealing with Alabama football, I will always listen with alacrity. I would love to hear things expand to basketball now that we appear to have a top-tier team. Perhaps your long-lost partner? His absence from the show has never been explained. I’m sure he is busy with life, but aren’t we all? I highly doubt I’m the only one that wonders about his absence. You do a great job, but it was absolutely better when two different brains were batting things back-and-forth.

This podcast is getting better each week. I’m sure I’ll give it the 5th star by play-offs

I’ve been listening to this podcast for about a year now and thoroughly look forward to every episode! On the post-game review episodes, I really enjoy the breakdown by position group. I am not that intrinsically familiar with the particulars of offensive line play and have learned a ton by listening. It feels like I’m getting to know the individual lineman and pay particular attention to how each one does during the game. The post-game analysis is both honest and insightful without attacking players personally. I’m always hyped for an Alabama football game, but the pre-game interview episodes help you become more familiar with the other team’s players and particular things to watch for. Give this podcast a listen- you definitely won’t regret it and I bet it will become a staple in your Alabama podcast lineup!

I've been listening longer than I can remember. I'm also a private member. This podcast gives you the nuts and bolts of the games and the strategies within the game. A must listen to podcast for people who want to know why things happen the way they do on the field. I highly recommend the private channel also.

These guys go into a level of detail well beyond any other podcast I can find relating to Alabama Football. They do great work too. It's no frills, to the point analysis for the serious Alabama football fan. Sometimes they can get a little bit negative for my taste and one of their favorite phrases "no absolutely"...go figure. Altogether awesome stuff though that you won't find anywhere else. Great job to them, keep it up.

Whether you live or hate Alabama football, this is a must listen to podcast. I have listened to these guys since the beginning. I am in the Army and was stationed in Italy for ten years (rough life right?) and these guys gave me insight to what was happening in Alabama football that let me stay connected to the team. I was able to stay up and watch the games at three in the morning but was not able to really dissect the game like I wanted too. These guys did that. If you like Alabama football you should listen to this podcast, if you love Alabama football I recommend going to their website and paying the extra money and getting one of the more premier packages. The information that you will gather is totally worth it. If you dislike Alabama football, first what the hell is wrong with you? You don’t like good football? Second, listen to these guys and you will learn about the weaknesses of the team and can gain valuable insight into how to watch and evaluate all football teams effectively. You guys are amazing! This podcast should be illegal. I imagine the opposing O and D coordinators have staff listen to it before playing Alabama. The detail and nuanced observations that these guys make are not only enlightening, but they’re fun listening. It’s also great to rewatch a game after you hear the podcast and pick up all the little things (and big ones) that you missed. Great job guys. Keep up the good work!

...delusional Bama fans trying to justify they were the better team vs Clemson on that fateful January 2019 night, and this podcast did not disappoint. All this talk about how if you take away this play and change the outcome of another that Bama is right in the thick of things, yet ZERO mention on how Clemson called off the dogs in the 4th Quarter with a 10+ min drive w/ backups where they sat on the ball inside the Bama 5-yd line as time expired. Keep believing this was a fluke, then prepare to watch how this Clemson offense scores 60+ if they have a rematch in the 2020 title game.

Great podcast, but just admit Clemson was the better team and beat bama. Sometimes homers got to homer but just see the game for what it is.

This stuff is fantastic. “If you add 18 points to Alabama’s score and subtract 14 from Clemson’s...” AMAZING!

Would you imagine a 40 year lawyer that heads up a 120 lawyer firm being just as interested in your next podcast as a $50 million case I’m working on? My favorite was the last one following the Clemson game. It’s got to be a lot easier to do these when we win 50-0. We tend to agree on just about everything but you guys have the eye for some details that I missed. One thing you may have overlooked in the podcast is the huge difference between the top 6-8 schools and the others. Us Bama fans took all those beatdowns this year as evidence of how good we were not how bad the others were. Ironically Saban and I are the same age. When people wonder how the fire can burn so brightly in him still, I say there are a lot of 67-70 year olds out there who are still eaten up with passion. I am one of them. We are all in it for 6-7 more years and we are gonna kick butt for every second of those years. When Saban loses 5 games in a year like Bear Bryant did, we will discuss whether its time to move on. Until then crank up your show next year and get ready for some more beatdowns. Congrats on developing your own “process” which is some good material.

Great Podcast! They definitely do a fantastic job keeping it honest, while still showing their love for Crimson Tide football. And Dizz77, I 100% agree with your observation. I thought I was the ONLY one who wondered why do they always begin their counter argument or agreement with “No, yeah...” or “No man, you’re right...” lol. Only thing that would make this show even better is that it drops at a consistent date/time during the week after the games. I have listened to this podcast for five years and it is still my favorite go-to analysis of Crimson Tide football. No National analyst/journalist/reporter comes close - in fact, my guess is they cheat and listen to this one for their research. Well, then again, probably not, since they come nowhere close to this informed and insightful analysis that Tom and Dave provide. Thanks guys and please keep up the good work! - Bill S.

If you are a self-professed Bama football "nerd" like me, this is your podcast to not only get a break down of the game's highlights but the details below the surface of the highlights. I feel that I (somewhat) know my way around a film study, but Dave and Tom teach me something new every week. Keep up the great work and keep the podcasts coming!

These guys do a really great job and I love how they mention whenever we take the kick off we lose yards when we don’t get to the 25 they notice the small things like that had to give a shout out for that,great listen

These examine the many of the details you won’t catch from any other report. Listening to this helped a great deal when I couldn’t see every game when I was deployed overseas. My only complaint is their confounding habit of voicing complete agreement by saying, “No, absolutely!”

Well thought out podcast for any level Bama fan. Audio quality is spotty, minimal editing done. .....I do have a question for the guys: WHERE IS BEN DAVIS??????

Is been almost 6 months since one of the greatest national championship games ever and I still check the feed once in a while hoping for more content and some discussion about the game. This is by far the best Alabama Football podcast available. These guys do a great job! Very insightful. They go into detail on every aspect of the game. My only gripe would be that the Alabama vs Georgia National Championship game is not available through the Apple Podcast app. Was there not an episode for this historic masterpiece or is it just my app. Please help!

After every game I always look forward to the weekly breakdown by Tom and Dave. I usually agree with Tom about the offensive play calling and how it leaves something to be desired. I’m usually satisfied with the defense and just enjoy hearing the guys point out how awesome they played, unless it was poorly executed and the DBs don’t turn around to play the ball. It’s good to hear other fans with unbiased views and unrealistic opinions about how the team played and how good they really are. I have been listening since 2011 and always bemoan the time in between seasons when the podcast goes dark. If I could offer any suggestions it would be to have an A day podcast, a summer practice update and discussion and a season preview before game 1 of the season. I realize this is all on your free time but the podcast faithful would surely appreciate it. I have been patiently waiting for the post championship podcast since I got to go to the game and before you know it signing day will be here. Look forward to it. Roll Tide

This is a special time in college football. The Alabama championship dominance will go down as one of the greatest dynasties in sports. If you’re lucky enough to witness and experience this history in the making, you need a resource like this podcast to fully appreciate what we are seeing. This is just two guys talking football. I love this podcast! If you’re a Bama fan this is THE podcast you should be listening to. The hosts give you insight into games, plays, and players that you will not find anywhere else. While sometimes they do come off as homers, they are not afraid to criticize play calls and coaching decisions when warranted. I have gotten more insight into offensive and defensive strategies here than I have anywhere else. Sometimes I go back and watch replays of games or drives because the hosts have pointed out something that I didn’t notice while watching the game live. Sometimes my buddies and I play a drinking a game while listening. Every time you hear the phrase “No, absolutely, man” you take a shot. Seriously, great show! Just wish there were more of them in the off-season to get my fix. Roll Tide!

I like the mini game balls and how obscure players are highlighted. These players turn up the next year as stars and future NFL drafts. I only wish there was more than one episode each week. As someone who came to the college football party a little late, I had lots of catching up to do when my daughter started grad school at Bama last year. I became an instant Bama fan and found this fantastic podcast two weeks into the 2016 season . Tom and Dave analyze and debate every aspect of the game! Not only do I come away with new insight about players and play calling at Alabama, but I also come away with a great knowledge about football in general. I eagerly await the podcast every week and have already started to dread the off season waiting for the podcast to come back in August! Great job, guys!

Quite ready to hear this week’s review of the game. Marginally enjoying the discussion. Find it kind of hard for guys who couldn’t play or coach D-1 ball to be so disparaging of kids who at their worst do better than those speaking could ever do. But to be fair I just love to hear solid commentary. After another clutch performance by Jalen Hurts, who is 23-1 as a starter and in the single lost the last time he touched the ball he put the Tide up, there’s not much credence to your critiques of him. If you’re going to retain your credibility as a commentator you must not be negligent in your praise for his work. You must admit how asinine and ludicrous it was for your supposed insight into who should start at QB for the Tide. It’s logically inconsistent to laud the great Coach Saban for his ability to coach and to trust the process and then somehow believe you know better than him in regards to who is better Jalen or Tua. Honestly, have you seen what happened to Florida state when they start a freshman quarterback. They won’t be bowl eligible. Yet as a true freshman Jalen scores the go ahead touchdown in a clutch moment in the Natty, as true freshman. Sometimes the criticism is utterly asinine and can only be reasoned through quiet bigotry. Other than that keep em coming. Roll tide.

I wanted something that gave a more in depth analysis of Alabama football and I couldn't have found a better podcast for it. They both really know their stuff and have great insights. It's made the games more fun to watch especially in garbage time as I know more things to look for. Definitely recommend to any Alabama/college football fans.

First, let me say that I love Finebaum. He is simply the best, but at what everyone else is already doing. These guys are different. Whether you are the kind of fan who watches where the ball goes during a game or you are the kind of fan that notices missed assignments, who is subbing for whom, or what recruit will replace what star next year these guys are totally accessible to everyone. The podcast doesn't feel rushed either. I love that they are all just over an hour long alllowing me to be totally immersed in Bama football during a long morning walk. God Bless and Roll Tide! Chad
