This has become one of my favorite podcasts
I started listening to this podcast to earn PDUs, but it has quickly become one of my favorites! The host is excellent and he has a broad range of guests from different backgrounds and industries on the show which keeps things interesting. I find myself learning things that apply not only to my work as a project manager, but also to my personal life. I never thought I would enjoy a PM podcast so much. Great work Andy, please keep the episodes coming!

THE podcast for leading people and projects
The sole fault in Andy’s Podcast is needing even more episode. Andy does a great job at production quality and keeps it focused on his listener base. Above all he has a deep understanding of the material which leads to the highest quality interviews you will find. Thank you Andy, guests, and team!

    Phenomenal Podcast
Not only is this the best podcast on project management, it is also the best podcast on leadership and one of the best podcasts out there. The host - Andy - is an excellent interviewer. He is highly engaged, always reads the book that his guest has written beforehand to prepare, and practices active listening. The interviews develop organically, and they aren’t scripted and bland. I would highly recommend this podcast to any aspiring leader, business major in college, or basically anyone on a project team in the workplace.

Great podcast - interesting topics and free PDUs!
I have listened to the People and Projects Podcast for a number of years. I find the interviews insightful and I almost always find a way to use what I learned in it immediately. I love that it is an easy and useful way to earn PDUs (no trudging through just to get the hours. It is truly engaging!). Thank you so much for putting these together! I have a pile of library books from many of your episodes for me to dive into more details.

I'm beginning to listen to this every morning
I'm beginning to listen to this every morning before I start my day. I learn quite a few things that helped me with my career, including my aspirations in leaderships. Now let's just put leadership aside, I also learned this morning that I need to look into Artificial Intelligence because that is the next big thing. Yes, that was from listening to the People & Projects Podcast. I also shared some of the show to my colleague, which could help them getting unstuck in their career. Wish you will do the same. Thanks Andy, for giving this this wonderful show. Not only that it helped us in our career, it helped us open our mindsets, it motivated us to explore into the future to keep up with our career.

Your way of interviewing is head and shoulders above anybody that I’ve ever heard!
My first career was a chef and restaurant owner, then went into graphic design which grew into multimedia with a solid career in 3-D modeling/animation and documentaries around the world. That led to me starting up a consulting business in marketing. Which led me to desktop support for a national energy lab and I finally took the advice from my wife and went into Project Management. I wanted to reach out to you to let you know that I have thoroughly enjoyed your podcast! I was introduced to you by a fellow colleague so I could gain PDUs by listening to a podcast. Little did I know that your podcast was more than just a podcast, but good input for me to maximize my life! One of the reasons I have enjoyed moving into this career was that I saw that there were life tools everywhere I looked. I enjoy working with people and seeing a positive impact that I can make in their lives. Many of your podcasts have enriched my personal life and many ways. I am sure that many people have said this to you, but your way of interviewing is head and shoulders above anybody that I’ve ever heard! I also have really enjoyed the question you ask add times of the guest when appropriate, “I know I have many parents in the audience, how would you teach this to your children?” Although my children are grown and out of the house, I think it is so important for us to lay a foundation for young parents to take advantage of the knowledge base that has been discovered through the many authors that you interviewed. Emphasizing the People part of project management
Value-add nuggets every time from Andy and his guests. Fascinating for life and work - not what some may expect from what is often treated as a dry topic of project management. I have begun sharing these lessons with our staff - thank you Andy!

    Great content - Fee PDU’s
Have been subscribed to this podcast since 2016 - Andy is a fantastic interviewer - he is prepared and genuine in his approach to the topic/book of the guest - love the insight and knowledge that is relayed. Keep up the great work.

Enjoying getting to know this team
Episode 377 was my first one to hear. I expected to hear the usual nuggets on project management, productivity etc. Instead, I got a host asking necessary questions with a different perspective & a guest being open about the often messy process of applying what they find in their research to their own life. Very down-to-earth. The outtake was also particularly good. The question about faith matters in these conversations on happiness. As a Christian, i find my sense of belonging, my awe, & my confidence in God. When that relationship is fed, the other relationships, goals, & projects tend to get aligned. So I’m glad you raised that question. 😀

    So much more than projects
The host, Andy Kaufman, is a great interviewer. So wise and kind that while the topic is supposedly projects, you’re learning wisdom for life. Wish I could have had this man for a professor.

    Great takeaways!
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I’ve learned a lot of great takeaways to help me in my career and personal life on a variety of different topics. I really enjoy Andy’s approach, and the pods are always interesting.

    Free PDUs + priceless insight = #winwin
I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2016 to earn PDUs for my PMP certification. My initial motivation was just for the free PDUs. What I quickly learned is that the podcasts are so well done and Andy’s interviews are very entertaining. On top of that - each episode includes such great content, insight, and knowledge that I can apply to my work/personal life and adventures in parenting (of 8 year old quadruplets). This podcast is so great - that you can binge listen to 32 podcasts in one month (like I just did) and still want more! Appreciate all that Andy and his team do to keep these podcasts going. Give the podcast a try…. you will become a #superfan like me. Annie Johnston

    Engaging + Practical
The conversational tone makes listening easy, and I always come away with improved perspective and tangible steps I can take to move forward. Hands-down one of the most-valuable podcasts out there.

    Valuable, accessible, and entertaining!
The PPP has been a great resource in my education and work, as it seems like every time I want to explore a topic from either in more depth, Andy’s interviewed the person I’d want to hear from! I can pick and choose to make a playlist that is super relevant for anything I’m working on. The interview style also seems to get a lot out of its guests - you hear about their work, but also how their personal life influences their research. Highly recommended.

A Top-Notch Podcast For Career Professionals!
If you want one podcast to listen to daily on your work commute or lunch break, this is it. I didn’t know what to expect when I discovered it but it absolutely exceeded my expectations. This podcast is like having a coaching session. Every episode will teach you something you can use in your career to be a better leader. Follow the guests! If anything, I just wish I’d discovered it sooner so I wouldn’t have to back track to catch up with all the goodness:))

Wonderful listen and real world advice
Andy is fantastic with his storytelling, interviewing, and topic selection. The episode (313) with the author of “The Future You,” Brian David Johnson, is one of my favorite. Great listen. He summed it up perfectly by saying Project Management is not a title; it is a lifestyle. Bravo.
  • Juana Poareo

    Real
I found myself in a PM career by accident and circumstances like most do. Listening to Andy’s podcast helped me tremendously to nail down terminology and tactics I could use right away. Andy takes the robotic nature of the PMBOK and makes it real stuff, for real people. Thanks Andy! William Stevens Williamsburg, VA

Outstanding - informative and easy to listen to
I've listened to a lot of PM-related podcasts, and Andy's is by far the best. He is a great interviewer and speaker, so he gets not the 'good stuff' with his guests and in a way that is fun and entertaining to listen to. I've listened to most of the episodes that I've downloaded more than once because they are so interesting and there is usually something valuable that is worth hearing multiple times.
