I happened on Tony’s other podcast and developed a healthy habit of listening to these stories when winding down from work. Tony is an excellent narrator and I very much enjoy the rambling commentary. While amused by his terrible American accent, I haven’t been disappointed by the alternate narrators that he’s introduced. Honestly Tony has two of the best podcasts available for classic detective and ghost stories out there - I look forward to every new episode.

My favorite podcast! Just listened to your Raymond Chandler and I love your voice for any genre, accent be damned. Come for the excellent reading, stay for the insightful and often hilarious commentary! One million stars!!

Dear Tony, you never disappoint! I've been listening to Tony's various podcast for several years now, and I started because I loved that he did the bio on the author and the dive into exploring the story after narrating the stories. Just listened to his rendition of witness for the prosecution, and it was delightful! The story was great, as all Dame Agatha's are, the narration was delightful as always--accents included--and I loved the bit at the end where Tony talked about the different types of legal systems and his Victorian great grandma ruling the roost. Keep up the good work!

    Amazing!
This wonderful podcast features expertly read detective stories. So far, the selection of stories is excellent. As a long-time listener and “patron” of Tony’s superb ghost stories podcast, I was expecting a top-notch show, but this blew even my sky-high expectations out of the water. It is, hands down, the best new podcast that I discovered in 2023. If you love classical detective fiction, it’s an absolute must-listen!
