The Whistleblowers: Inside the Trump Administration

News #119Politics #40

THE WHISTLEBLOWERS: INSIDE THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, hosted by former DHS official turned anonymous whistleblower and “Blowback” author Miles Taylor, will bring you into the room – and into the lives – of the high-ranking officials and frontline public servants who tried to bring order to the chaos of the Trump years, while grappling with the most difficult decision of their lives: whether to openly speak the truth. They knew that doing so meant near-certain retribution, costing them their homes, jobs, marriages, safety ... and changing the course of history.

    Interesting and Terrifying
This is a podcast every American should listen too. Each episode is both interesting, with an insider look at our politics, and terrifying in knowing that except for the acts of a few brave people we’d know very little about these events. I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next season. Please let there be a next season.

    Enlightening and hard-hitting
Fantastic show! I follow politics pretty closely and much of this information and these stories were new to me. It sheds a lot of light on the inner workings of the trump White House.

    Everything but the ads
I really like the episode content but your choice of advertisers is pretty terrible. Thankful to have the ability to skip past them.

    Great podcast
I love this pod. However- your episode about the two twins from USSR .. your pronunciation of Ukrainian names and cities etc are wretched. Other than that everything is good.

    Love This Podcast!
This could be one of the best podcasts and I love that it’s not just telling a story, but getting the interviews is what makes it awesome!

    Superbly presented profiles in courage
A fresh approach to news you thought you knew. Riveting content, great interviews, and exceptionally well written and edited.

    Truth Tellers. A season 2?
Hoping for a season two. Just honest experiences from folks who were (at least partially if not totally) politically aligned with the Republican Party. I say this to point out that these conversations can’t justifiable be framed as left leaning individuals stirring up nonsense. I found it informative. I’m thankful for truth tellers.

Everyone needs to listen to this!!
Very interesting. Fast paced. Heart wrenching. Such an important piece of media to document the Trump presidency!

    Sad, but so informative.
Amazing podcast. People who say that politicans are all the same, should listen to this. Life and death decisions are made and stated clearly. From Covid deaths to Ukrainian and Russain deaths. Voting still matters and should be taken soberly.

    Not worth the flashback
Many of the whistleblowers profiled in the podcast were worth the attention. And despite the PTSD of having to relive those events, it’s nice to hear people on the inside relate how truly awful DJT is. Then I listened to the final episode. I am surprised how strong my sense of repulsion is toward Stephanie Grisham and people like her. All the good feelings I had during the previous episodes evaporated while listening to her. So yes, give it a listen, but skip the last episode. And by the way — the ad from GoldCo was an ironic touch given that the final episode covered QAnon and its FOX-fueled paranoia. At first I thought it was part of the story, that the public are fed stories about how “the government’s comin’ to get ya!” Alas, no. It was an actual sponsor. So yes, thanks for the trip down nightmare lane but in the end, it takes more patience than I have to listen to folk who signed up to work for that monster and then at some point saw what every sane person knew when DJT announced his candidacy. Why you worked for him at all is a mystery. You didn’t help the nation by covering for him or smoothing out his worst impulses. And you get zero points for taking more than three seconds to speak out about what was happening.

    Compelling and inspirational
Very well done podcast, the stories are compelling (and scary given the impact and consequence). What really strikes me is the courage of these whistleblower stories. In the movies, “doing the right thing” is hard but in the end, when you do the right thing, everything works out. In the real world, doing the right thing can (and seemingly mostly does) result in the whistleblower paying a great price. Thank you for bringing these stories to the fore.

    The whistleblowers
This is amazing pod cast! I have learned so much about what went wrong having tfg in the White House! We need to make sure that he never steps foot in there again. Our democracy depends on this and keeping our country safe! I can’t wait for season two if you are doing one. Thank you all for putting your lives out there and telling the truth.

    True hero’s!
What these people did are amazing & what true Americans are. I’m so sorry the price you have all paid but you exposed the evil Donald Trump is! God bless you all & never regret the great thing you did, you told the truth about a modern day Hitler!

    Inspiring
I watch the news often and follow stories and articles regarding politics and the state of the nation. Often I am met with reports that glamorize or sensationalize gross incompetence within the government. I think your podcast does an excellent job telling the stories of everyone who rejected Trump ideals. Regardless of race, class or background, each person interviewed looked at the human aspect of “what is the right thing to do?”. This was an excellent series.

    Oh, the memories
Thank you for reminding us of the chaos we had to endure day in and day out with this term. I only hope that every persuadable voter could hear this and make the right decision. Say what you will about the current administration, but this series sheds a reminiscent light on the idea that this is not a place to which we want to return.

    Bravery
You are so brave and courageous to speak the truth. I can only imagine how hard it was coming forward. Incredible podcast!!!!!!
  • FiredUpCarol

    Awesome
There are some wonderful podcasts out there. But this one - oh my gosh - gripping, horrifying, sobering, frightening. You wish these things weren’t true, but you’re so grateful for those who finally find the courage and insight to speak up. Thank you so much, Miles Taylor, and guests.
  • Let's Make Change
    Intriguing
I was not expecting to like this series, as I figured I had heard enough about Miles Taylor’s experiences and the failures of the Trump administration. But the first two episodes leave me with so many questions about all of the unknowns connected to what happens in this world. And worse, how many consequences are faced by individuals seeking to do the right thing when information about those occurrences is learned? This series is so well done, and I hope a huge number of people actually listen to it. I’m excited to hear the rest of it.

    Incredible access
I’m floored by the access this podcast has to these politicians. Incredibly covered and beyond insightful.

    The whistleblowers
Miles story is compelling, as I remember when “anonymous “ first came to public eye. This podcast is hugely important and I wish every trump supporter would listen to this podcast. It is enlightening and absolutely frightening! I listen to many podcasts from people formerly in the GOP and this ranks at the top. Great job from Miles and his team!
  • klmcgin
    Intriguing
I find it intriguing how those in trump’s administration were drawn to the mob mentality in the rallies, hatred of ‘the other.’ I don’t have much sympathy. Only when they found themselves enveloped in that world did they realize they were part of the dirt.

    Just More Propaganda
Just wondering who put you up to spewing these lies…I hope you do the Biden Crime Family next. 🙄🙄🙄
  • AimeeCameronWillis
Well produced and full of stories you don’t get in the media
This podcast is a deep dive with a lot of info you’re not going to get elsewhere. Yes there are commercials - it is well scripted and produced - that takes $, hence commercials. Guess what…you can skip forward through them - I don’t understand why people complain about this. If you like true crime, you’ll probably like this - pacing and story telling is similar. Insider political stories that most plebes never hear about.

Excellent content but music is terrible
The material is compelling, and the writing and presentation are excellent. The music is ruining it though, I keep hoping it will end after the introduction but it keeps coming back. Distracting and overly dramatic. Please, please dial it back because it’s too intrusive. The lurid true crime podcast promotions don’t help—it’s the same creepy music.

    Grateful
Grateful to Miles for bringing these stories to light. It demonstrates that there were good people in the midst of the nightmare Trump administration, it gives me hope. As a nurse, a special shout out to nurse Dawn for advocating on behalf of her patients during the pandemic.

    Whistle blowers
Thank you so much for your excellent story. Thank you for your work as civil servants. And your bravery to stand up and speak up for what is right, civil, ethical. You should be commended. I am sorry that you have endured, and continue to do so, the hate and misguided, uneducated blaming and hostility. Take care, and I hope to hear more from you.

    PHENOMENAL PODCAST! MUST LISTEN!
All must listen & share The WhistleBlowers podcast by Miles Taylor with those who actually missed out when these events happened daily during the #TraitorTrump administration. Listen with empathy for each of these public servants. If you weren’t paying attention then, you need to pay attention now & read the book, Blowback. If you don’t heed Miles Taylor’s warnings and the warnings of countless people who lived through and spoke up about the #TraitorTrump administration, you will regret it when the fallout hits you, your family, your business & community, Ask yourself if it’s really wise to vote for a lying conman who is a malignant narcissist who stole national security documents and attempted a coup, to run your town or country. Ask yourself if it’s wise to support someone who speaks of locking up political opponents and using the power of government to harm citizens and instill fear, hate and division. Most importantly, practice critical thinking, open your eyes and question your media consumption to determine if you’ve been radicalized or are believing conspiracy theories. Bottomline, Do No Harm to your neighbors, public servants, law enforcement and other Americans.
