rex767How does Karen do it?I didn’t know that Karen had a pod cast until someone mentioned it on CNBC. I have always liked her analysis and figured I would listen. I didn’t expect my 1st PC to be about how women feel powerless and the disadvantages that she has had to suffer. I’m 11 minutes into the PC and I have checkout.

PumptrogHighly recommend these podcasts!I’ve listened to four of Karen’s podcasts over a short period of time, and can’t wait to listen to all the rest! Karen has a unique ability to put her guests at ease with her thoughtful questions and disarming sense of humor. I’ve learned about various industries, the challenges women face within these industries, and what women do to overcome problems and to excel as leaders. I’ve been stuck by how women leaders across different industries use similar tactics to establish a solid company culture, and how they embrace family life with their marathon-like work ethic- one that is unbeakable, and focused on long-term growth. These women’s have created companies that profitable financially and benefit the communities they serve. I highly recommend “How She Does it” to anyone interested in learning how to build a successful career and a strong company.

Casey.eBlazing a pathI enjoy hearing authentic conversations with incredible women who are blazing a path in so many different areas. Karen’s curiosity and admiration comes through each week. While it started with mostly business-minded women, I love how its expanded to include all sorts of pathways to success. Interesting, inspiring, and throughly enjoyable!

randykohioMust listenI listen to Karen nightly on Fast Money, however this podcast is much slower paced and goes in-depth on a multitude of issues and has become my new, must listen podcast when it drops. I would highly recommend it.

Living Clean and DirtyInspiring GuestsKaren Finerman's podcast is one of my favorite. Finally, a podcast that shines an a spotlight on powerful and inspiring women from diverse fields. With Karen's genuine curiosity, each episode is a journey into the lives and experiences of remarkable women. Whether they're leading in business, breaking barriers in technology, or driving change in their communities, these women's stories are both captivating and empowering. Karen's podcast provides a platform for these voices to be heard, celebrating their achievements and most importantly their failures.

KathrynLizbethBest guests, best host!!I had watched Karen Finerman on CNBC for years but had never heard her sit down for in-depth conversations like these, and I LOVE her style. I have learned so much about the incredible women she has featured, and what goes into decision-making and career moves “at the top.” I hope this show never ends. I adore Karen!!

brytwiDisappointedI really wanted to like this podcast. It’s a great concept. However, rather than empowering, I’ve been disappointed with how out of touch most of the speakers are. I suppose a degree of elitism isn’t surprising, but much of their advice and stories are so far removed from most women’s experiences, I find them frustrating rather than inspiring. Additionally, there were several episodes when the speakers were insensitive (if not outright offensive) when it came to gender stereotypes and cultural appropriation.

yahoo girl 19What a great podcastI wish I had access to a podcast like this when I started an IT career 50 years ago. These women are so powerful and have a great understanding of how to balance life and work! I have my “team” listening now and they love it!
-
XxzzqwGreat listenI’ve learned over the years people who don’t spend all their time telling everyone how smart they are but instead push you to be smarter are worth your time. Karen is worth your time.

paulzzzz1So far. . .So far as the first episode goes. Great job!!! I watch Fast Money, and as a man, I always wondered how Melissa Lee got on the show since soooo much of the Finance world is dominated by men. I found Lee’s comment that if a guest can not, does not, like to answer a fair question, then don’t come back, go somewhere else, to be extremely refreshing to hear!!!! On another note, and not sure how/where to comment, other than in this review, on this subject. Alcohol was mentioned a couple of times. I have seen first hand the destruction caused by alcoholism to the person suffering from it, and to those around that person. Well over 30 million Americans are in recovery from alcoholism. Mentioning drinking in a very worthy intelligent conversation seems to be unwarranted. In the first episode, if the word scotch would’ve been replaced with cocaine, I doubt the question would have been asked. With that, I also want to stress I am not trying preach to anyone one, but rather trying to make more people aware of the disease and the impact it has had on our friends, families, and neighbors. Once again great job and look forward to the next episode.

hrose480Honest and Authentic ConversationI’m so excited Karen Finerman finally has a podcast! You can tell she’s really talking to women she admires and cares about their insights. I actually feel like I’m sitting with them over a cocktail. Karen’s warm energy makes guests feel relaxed and I can’t wait to see who else she has on.

just because i like tetrisKaren is top notch!I’ve seen Karen Finerman on Fast Money and love her combination of expertise and humor. So glad she started a podcast, we ALL can learn from her and her guests (Melissa Lee is a rockstar IMO). This podcast should be required listening for high schoolers, very interesting and insightful.

No walgreens for meA great show especially for womenMelissa’s answers were honest and natural. Karen seemed a bit to scripted but many expected for a first show. Seemed like she over prepared and needs to be more relaxed with her usual humor and wit. I will leave this as food for though for Melissa. Money is a tool and so is power but neither guaranty a future. There is money to life than these too.

FJMfromSKGreat ideaCareful, thought-out, reasonable, and honest. Anecdotes, helpful discussions, refreshed “would you rather,” quips, and serious, useful answers.
