Love FA, but Caleb used to be way more empathetic and personable with his guests. You could tell he cared. This last episode (4/23/25) I am amazed the guest didn’t walk out from the level of disrespect he received. He was obviously uncomfortable but stuck it out so props to him. It’s just a bummer that Caleb is more of a character than a person now. The algorithm changed him I guess and now he is a bit annoying tbh.

I love watching these on YouTube but there’s so many commercials. I enjoy the podcast version, I can skip through the ad rolls. However, just listening doesn’t give you the full experience. No comment section to run to, you miss the new editing, the debt tally and obviously you can’t watch Caleb have a tantrum lol

I love Financial Audit… when it first came out. But with each episode I feel like it’s more and more about the persons drama in their life rather than their financial situation. Please leave the personal stuff to the post show and focus more on financials!

Caleb hammer isn’t a licensed financial advisor nor has any training or education in the financial advising space. He’s just a dude with a mic and a podcast yelling at working class people, be berating them with misinformation, while calling them lazy and stupid. Dude doesn’t want to help people with financial education. He just wants to sell subscriptions to his budgeting app.

Ads are needed for free podcasts, I get it. But well-produced shows integrate them into the content. This show interjects them whenever and the host reads all ads. So it’s super hard to tell what’s an ad and what’s the show. It’s even harder when they’re mid-sentence of someone. What’s with the cash register sounds covering the curses? This is a show for adults (kids don’t budget) so just let them fly. Or at least silence them. Cash register dings are killing me.

I love you guys but good god the audio volume varies so much between not just episodes but minute to minute, makes it impossible to listen to at work

I’m obsessed with this show. I listen while I work, all day, every day. It has helped me change my ways and I have paid off about $7k of debt in a few months. No more Amazon purchases, no more door dash and absolutely no TAQUITOS! People complain about Caleb but these people know what they signing up for! They sign forms and watch videos assuring that they understand the process.

His earlier episodes are so much better because he seemed genuinely invested in making others lives better and educating people about financial literacy. Now he just shrieks and yells over everyone and clearly gets off on screaming at others who either 1) clearly dont understand what they’re doing with finances or 2) have unresolved mental health issues. Oh and if you aren’t up to date on how big of a creep he is? Go to Reddit. Immediate unfollow and unsubscribe and made me look at him completely different.

Lots of complaints that Caleb is too tough or bullies people, yeah these people need it!!! This podcast is great, and it keeps me from ending up like any of these people.

I love financial audit and I love Caleb. However, there are just way too many ads! Often it’s not even clear he jumps from the interview straight into an ad and it takes me a second to realize the difference. Otherwise, it’s a great podcast. I don’t love that there are a lot of add ons (post show) you have to pay for but hey I realize he has to make money too.

To be honest, I started listening because I liked hearing Caleb give advice and figure out pathways for supposedly hopeless cases — the humor inherent in the absurdness of the cases is obviously entertaining! But it sort of feels like now it’s just like… Jerry Springer lol. Like it’s helping rageaholics get off at hearing someone yell at a stereotype of a person. Hoping it veers away from this down the line because I like what Caleb has to say about money and financial planning!

Listening to “Financial Audit” not only helped me feel better about my situation, but also provided me the knowledge and confidence to make steps in the right direction to achieving financial freedom.

If you like conservative talking points while someone shrieks at people in horrible financial situations with a side of not believing the victim - then this is the show for you.

This podcast is really entertaining. I have watched on YouTube/ listened for a year or so, and it is consistently amusing and comical. I hope Caleb has a good outlet for his stress because he gets really worked up trying to help these people.

He has good advice but being so mean isn’t necessary. I know that’s his brand now, but not what I would want to be known for. The name calling is so childish/immature. Come on, Caleb. Be better.

I quite honestly don’t know how he deals with these complete idiots. That latest girls employer should be terrified that she is caring for their child. She may be the dumbest person I’ve ever encountered. Very sad.

The host is obnoxious

Morals aren’t subjective. Is r*pe wrong? Is m*rder wrong? Pedo wrong? Not only are you wrong about that, you give horrendous financial advice.

This show highlights how lacking the US education system is in finance. Kids should learn this stuff in high school to prevent this generational financial illiteracy. It’s sad. It also shows how manipulative apps like Amazon and door dash are for appealing to our brains which are wired for instant gratification. We’re in a very rough time to not know how to manage your money. The advice is great and helps more than just the guests in a creative way.

Listening to Caleb everyday really did make me realize the stupid stuff I was spending money on and I’m working on better my spending habits and saving more.

Great content. However, the amount of ads are annoying. Also, the ads are different length of times each time, and randomly occur. Very annoying.

I really liked the show when it first came out. But Caleb is just a creep now, and it’s cringy how much he talks about how “crazy” they get in the after show. There are also just too many ads.

I really like that Caleb gives the whole picture of a person’s life not just the financial numbers. However, my ears would appreciate if he screeched less. I think he’s playing it up for those who like drama and overly emotional situations, but it’s rough on the ears. A big improvement in the format of his show would be a summation of the financial situation outlining the total debt, income, etc. He gives a financial score but numbers are hard to trace back to specific financial figures.

Rarely check out different podcasts but this one hit home. Host allows guests to speak and tell their stories.

Super entertaining but almost unlistenable due to the amount of ads that cut into the convos. Just either make a bigger ad block or get it out of the way at the beginning. It’s unfortunately obnoxious.

My wife just found this show on YouTube recently and sent it to me. I LOVE IT! Caleb is like a mix of Dave Ramsey and Bill Handel (Handel On The Law). Caleb has a (very much needed) tough approach but, is also funny and entertaining. Try him out if you like either other person/show I mentioned. You won’t regret it and you just might learn something.

This guy is so rude to his guests. He sounds like one of those weird incel guys online that hates women. Be nice to your guests dude.

With the power to skip past parts I may not want to listen to like ads.. and the helpful tips and ideas he gives as well as seeing others be in a deeper hole than I am in and still get out gives me courage to get out of my own debt.

Never heard so many ads in my life. Not even good ones. It’s like they just collected every single ad sponsor like they were Pokémon. I’m still waiting for raid shadow legends to pop up….

This podcast has more ads than I have ever heard. It’s like listening to the radio. 3 minutes of content, an ad pushing some sort of special access club (ironic as he always tells people to quit paying for subscriptions, they are a waste etc), just ads ads ads. It was better before, but he’s pushing ads like crazy and it ruins the flow of the show. They are inserted mid sentence, often- very poorly done.

Used to like his old stuff. Now I hate the dirty jokes and how he talks down to the guests. I prefer his old way of how he treated them.

I’m a 20 year old and I’m so glad I found this podcast before I made a ton of bad financial choices. I’ve learned soooo much and I really trust Caleb’s advice. So glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves!! 🤍🤍

Please post more episodes on here - it’s super helpful to be able to listen while driving or at work. I find these episodes really interesting and they make me reexamine what I spend my money on. Harsh reality but necessary listen

I started watching this on YouTube about a year ago but just started listening on podcasts. He hasn’t updated it on here for 4 months now. Great show but he needs to add more episodes on here.

Great show, great content but hasn’t been updated in 2 months. I understand this is a YouTube show but I can’t sit in front of a screen while I’m driving 8 hours a day for work. Need the podcasts.

I found him on TikTok and I love it. It was an eye opener. A tough eye opener but an eye opener.

I’m using this podcast and his YouTube as a mantra to refocus me on my goal of having no more debt. His voice pops up before I buy something 😅

‘41 year old refuses to get a job’ was actually scary. Like this guy isn’t listening and feels like the human form of a conspiracy theory. I started listening because a friend has bad debt and I don’t know how to help her. But it’s made me re-examine my own finances and it’s all helpful. I feel I have a better grasp on personal finances.
