Off Gassing: A Scuba Podcast

One of my favorite things after a dive is engaging in conversation with other divers. This joy I have found is one of the biggest motivators behind my starting the podcast. I am on a journey to meet other scuba-minded individuals. Hear about the different aspects of this world I love so much. I want to converse with people of all levels. Speak to beginners all the way up to the experts and leaders in their fields, learn, and soak up knowledge from my fellow divers. From the shallow reefs of Indonesia to the deep wrecks of the Great Lakes, cold water quarries to the warm tropical waters. I do not want anyone left out as I navigate through the Scubaverse. Fun, easygoing, to controversial topics. Let's talk about all of it. I am also on a personal journey of educating myself and seeking proper training as I move through different levels of this sport. With nothing to hide and everything to show, the frustrations, the joys, and everything in between. Join me as we gas it up with some of the wonderful characters inside this story called Scuba.

    Great podcast
Off Gassing: A Scuba Podcast is a solid listen for anyone who loves diving, especially if you’re into the technical or cave side of things. The host does a great job of keeping things informative without being too dry, covering everything from gear talk and safety tips to deep dives (literally) into decompression theory. The guest interviews add a nice touch, bringing in experts who share real-world experiences and insights. Audio quality is usually good, though some remote interviews can be hit or miss. If you’re a diver looking to expand your knowledge or just geek out over the sport, this podcast is definitely worth a listen.

Why are we hating on laughter?
Just listened to the takeover teaser. Personally, I find the laughter both relatable and good active listening. Been enjoying the show for a few months now and enjoying relaxed vibes

    Nice podcast
Nice podcast with great guests. Only negative is the hosts dislike of cold water. Got news for you chief some of if not the best wreck diving is in cold water and specifically the Great Lakes. If you ever get to MN do some wreck dives in Lake Superior it will open your eyes 😃

    Interesting and Thoughtful Interviews
One of my favorite scuba podcasts! I’m a recreational diver, so at first stayed away from the more technical sounding episodes, and so glad I went back and listened to them. Nick has a great way of talking to his guests, and the conversations have gotten me interested in topics about scuba I never even thought about. It’s been fun getting to know so many interesting people from all over the world!

    Please stop laughing so much
Smart guy and decent interviewer with compelling topics and guests but the constant laughing makes it hard to listen to. I know it may be a nervous/filler thing but please stop, I’d like to listen more.
