    Hey, listen!
I just started listening to this pod, and I really like it!! I’m currently in the process of writing a BotW fanfic myself, and this is really helpful. I must admit I do get jealous when i hear Zelink parts. Only because Link is MINE. Other than that, great pod, great story, and for those who are in doubt (of listening to the podcast) my advice is: It really is dangerous to go alone, take this. :)

    So perfect
Ever since I was 11 I have been a huge Zelda fan and I love finding podcasts or an audio book in this case that fuels my love for LoZ. This is an amazing series and I haven’t even come close to finishing it. Thank you for your hard work on this. It’s perfect.

I absolutely adore this. 💚 (edited)
This is exactly what I needed in my life! The Zelink content is absolutely amazing, and I’ve actually laughed out loud while listening! It would be amazing to have this as a published book I could have on my bookshelf… but I don’t think that will happen.😅 I do have some constructive criticism, but I promise you I still absolutely adore this audiobook! 1. Phrases like ‘However’ and ‘A short time’ are quite overused. (I myself can be a little nit-picky when authors overuse metaphors or phrases to describe something.) 2. The narrator is a bit dry, somewhat taking away from the overall enjoyment of the book. In my opinion, especially since it is on an audiobook format. I find myself every so often having trouble paying attention, resulting in rewinding. Whoever narrates, perhaps just add a bit more emotion while recording? 3. A smaller and more trivial qualm is, why did the narrator add accents that weren’t in the original game? In the audiobook the narrator made the Zora have something akin to French accents, and the Goron’s something I can’t very well describe. It slightly annoyed me because canonically the Zora have British accents and the Gorons sound like very buff men that are possibly in the WWE (very specific, I know, but they just sound like buff dudes I guess😂). A good word to describe the way a Goron sounds would be “gravely”. 4. I’ve noticed in your other audiobook productions (such as Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask.) you have included well placed sound bytes, music, and a bit of voice acting for the struggles Link has in fights. I have noticed in this one, there is less of that. It just added another layer of immersion to your previous stories, and for this one it was very hit or miss unfortunately. I hope that this does not discourage you, but rather encourage you! There are already so many great aspects to your story and I couldn’t be more glad that I found it! I’ve been wanting a detailed BOTW story for the longest time and I obviously found an incredible one! Some examples are: The writing is incredible, the added bits we didn’t get to see from the game’s original memories added so much to the story (it just gave so much more depth and understanding of the characters, but especially Link. Which I’ll get to in a moment), Link’s character is very accurately portrayed (In my opinion at least, the way he was portrayed here was so similar to my own interpretation of him and I greatly appreciate that! Like I mentioned earlier, he is sometimes dampened because of the narrator’s dryness, but still a very satisfying version of Link), the characters in general are so very endearing to me, and there is great humor as well! I truly love this Breath of the Wild adaption, keep up the good work! Warm regards, - A Zelda lover “Courage need not be remembered, for it is never forgotten.” “Whether skyward bound, adrift in time, or steeped in the glowing embers of twilight the sacred blade is forever bound to the soul of the hero.” “You must save hyrule.” “Be brave and. Fight. For. Your. Kingdom!” “It’s dangerous to go alone, take this.”
