Melatonin band nameGreat show, but I’m unfollowingI really like listening to JTF’s voice, his great conversations, and the cool settings for his interviews. However, the weekly feed drops are entirely too much. I know I can just delete them, but it’s clutter and mental energy that I don’t need to expend. I’d refollow right away if these were stopped. I’ll miss listening, but I know this is the right choice for me.
-
ThJoMoLove JTFThere’s something about him and his voice that just puts me at ease. It’s become a comfort listen for me.
-
46AJGreat FindRecently found this podcast. I’ve gone back to the beginning and loved all the interviews. JTF has always been on my radar but I’ve really enjoyed getting to know him more along with his guests. Keep it up!

BobMcboySpam in feedThis podcast gets downloaded almost daily by another evergreen podcast I’m subscribed to, infuriating

MacMacMacKSo happy to find this.I absolutely love this podcast!!
-
podfan1975Beautiful and worth sharingJesse is an amazing interviewer, with a beautiful soul. I love the stories he shares, and gets his guests to share. I can’t wait to continue binging. ❤️
-
B. StormFun and interesting!!This podcast is fun and entertaining!!! Thank you.
-
jivefreeLoveThe Bridget Everett episode is my favorite. Grief is hard! 💛
-
ThomasAliceSTOPI had to turn off automatic downloads because every week it downloaded an additional podcast by someone else, a podcast I don’t want. It’s not fair to use my storage space and my bandwidth to advertise in this way. The show is good, this tactic is not.
-
Ray JaronikSo greatThis is such an amazing podcast! Not only is Jessie Tyler Ferguson an amazing host but, all the guests are great. I feel like I know everyone at the end of the episode
-
t_rowe29Comforting and thoughtfulI just love this podcast - it feels like you’re eavesdropping on good friends at dinner. I especially love any of the BTS industry talk regarding production, etc. This pod is a nice break from the stress of the real world, while also talking about almost every real thing under the sun. This is my go to podcast when I can’t sleep - in the best way - it just provides comfort and peace to me.
-
jos38Give me the videos!I love this podcast and I found it from the small video clips on TikTok. There are podcasts I don’t mind just listening to but there are many I love watching. This is one of them🥺 but I want the full length video on YouTube like the other podcasters😭 let me see the food, the restaurant, my favorite actors facial expressions when talking 😭 k thank you love this podcast. I’ll give you 5 stars when I can watch the whole thing

worldwide intlToo many long adsLove the show but feels like half the episode of ads. I don’t mind ads but the number/length of ads seems like too much for a podcast that’s already short.
-
Jimmy 079So good that I’m delightfully shockedI don’t like stars of finished tv shows doing podcasts. There’s one I like specifically that I won’t name here, but otherwise I find it annoying. I’ve tried many. I also do get why some find the background noise here a problem. Everything was working against this podcast being for me. But it started with Jesse (a generation’s most underrated gay actor) interviewing Julie Bowen (a woman I pretended to have a crush on when I was still in the closet because I loved her so much on NBC’s Ed, look it up and demand they stream it somewhere). Also they had pretty fantastic chemistry for eleven years on Modern Family so I gave it a try. It was a great first episode. And Ferguson is really, really good at this, continuing his streak of being a secret underrated superhero.

Mister RpedersoA Confederacy of DuncesIf you are a fan of speaking the English language you will be surprised and confused by how others speak it and how Nicole and Jesse speak. Nicole: “It really resignated with the audience.” She means resonated. Also, resignated is not a word. Jesse: “I felt like I was being protected..gave me this coat of armor.” There is no phrase coat of armor. It is coat of arms. Jesse: “People call me out about movies. I have never seen The Godfather.” Nicole: “Martin Scorsese. I met him recently. I am a big fan.” (Francis Ford Coppola was the director of The Godfather. Scorsese had nothing to do with it).
-
3bpmlBackground noiseI would love this podcast if it weren’t for the very loud background noise! Couldn’t even listen to the Sandra Bernhard episode.
-
MilinowskiI totally get the premise but it just doesn’t work in realityAs a big Sandy Bernhard fan I was so looking forward to listening to this, but be honest….. why would you even consider recording a podcast in a crowded and loud restaurant??? It’s such a flawed idea… I mean, sure, in theory it would be fun to share a meal and a conversation…. But in reality it’s crazy….. you can’t hear or follow the conversation…. It’s bizarre to even think this would work…. Can’t you ask the restaurants to come in when they are not open and record then? I know this is quite the ask, but THIS ain’t it…. Sorry, I am just being honest….😞

Hill Valley 1985Just RightI don’t typically review shows, but this one has been such a comfortable, simple listen lately. It’s my drive to work show. Jesse is really good with his flow, it’s very casual and he isn’t rehearsed or fake. He does a wonderful job making you feel like you’re sitting at the table with him. I like that the episodes are about an hour but I DO wish the ads were shorter/less. I find that with certain guests, I would have liked a few more minutes of story telling rather than a condensed version of the convo to accommodate more ads. Although I love watching Jesse on screen, I hope he keeps the show going for a long time!
-
karalianemToo many breaksI want to really like this podcast but I feel like I spend more time hearing the various "coming up on" and ads than I do the actual interview. I really love everything else about it- the causal nature of it all, the guests, and he is funny to listen to. There just needs to be more actual content for such a short show.
-
wenfalSo soSome of Jesse’s interviews are interesting, for example, Lily Tucker, Pritchett. However, the conversation is often hard to hear over many background noises in the restaurant. Lately many of the conversations are very surface and artificial showcasing, the entitlement of Jesse and the interviewees
-
awkwardbellyFeel Good ShowI love this show so much. Great conversations food recommendations = my kind of podcast.
-
Honeybee@3Great PodCame for Tig Notaro and stayed for JTF’s beautiful podcast concept. Loving the thoughtful questions JTF asks his guest…looking forward to listening to all the past episodes and new ones to come. 💖
-
N8CHOLASGreat show!!This show is such a great listen! You should get Ty Burrell to come on!
-
LilyViolet$Eating while talkingI want to like it a lot, but restaurant noise and talking to staff gets very confusing and talking with a mouthful of food just isn’t a good scenario for me. I can’t be the only one.
-
MaisieForniaPleaseSince you got Joe I think you should get Kit Connor when he does Romeo and Juliet this fall.
-
revrobbiebLife is a Banquet......And thanks to JTF, no one is starving for sparkling guests, authentic conversations, and a delightfully unique podcast experience! It's a full course meal of fascination and fun! Love the restaurant concept, love Jesse's interviewing style, and love how I feel listening!
-
C1NXXXFeels like I’m Ease droppingNicole Byer brought me here! This is such a good concept and I’m listening from the beginning and have no notes.
-
TxMarty’s MomThank goodness I found this!I stumbled across this podcast the other day when looking for something to brighten my day. I have been binging on cult and true crime podcasts and needed something lighter. This is the perfect remedy! I love to listen to Jesse and his pals chat about life, work and family. It’s not all fluff but they are having real conversations over (what sounds like) amazing food and I’m really enjoying it!
-
Meow AlySo goodI’m so obsessed with this podcast JTF is so funny
-
jaydencosplay12WonderfulNo Absolutely Way I Am Seriously listening to this new podcast and also Jesse is such an awesome actor on modern family as Mitchell and these interviews are so great
-
Solar FleckFun showI love Modern Family and have enjoyed Jessie’s interviews.
-
Meedo0083425Can’t do the food noisesI know the whole premise of the show is to dine while interviewing but I just can’t do it. It is so distracting and disgusting. Maybe go for drinks instead? Interviews are interesting but I just can’t do it.
-
lildear2Great show!I really enjoy the show. I love Jesse’s humor and the conversations he has with his guests. The food sounds amazing, and I don’t mind hearing them order and talk as they enjoy their meals. It gives me an idea of how tasty the cuisine is and provides a variety of eatery options to consider if I’m ever in those areas.
-
DDawg2For some of the commenters…You’re disgusted by the sound of them chewing??? You KNOW the whole premise of the show is that Jesse interviews AT a restaurant…WHILE enjoying a meal! I mean…it’s explained in the very first episode 🙄 Haters go find another podcast to listen to. Probably a boring one. PS…I happen to love this podcast ❤️
-
tommythomNot Smartless and wants to beTired, boring and wants to be thee podcast.
-
Kerbear949Love itSo happy I just found out about this podcast now I have so much to catch up on
-
cmdmwanna hear ppl chomp their food?and talk with their mouth full, this is for you…it’s so disgusting…i wd love to listen to his guests but sorry…makes me want to vomit…
-
Wendylynn86Wonderful Listen!I have absolutely enjoyed listening to this on my way to work. I feel like I’m actually with them and in the conversation when I’m listening. So many fun tidbits here and there, but ultimately have enjoyed being with Jesse and his friends at dinner. A great listen for anyone!
-
BKWcbcRebroadcastsI’m never a fan of Podcast reruns from the past year. It’s just a lazy way of keeping a feed in the subscribers’ screen. Shame on you Jesse. I can get past your gossipy fan boy vibe (oh yeah, we met at t’s party) when you talk on serious subjects like organ transplants (with no link to helpful organizations) End it now before you really look stupid
-
Smart palateSeconds please!!!I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PODCAST! Perhaps that’s because good food/great restaurants and celebs are 2 of my fav obsessions… lol BUT Jesse is also a great interviewer. He asks almost all the questions I want to ask! He has a wonderful way of getting the info via “conversation” as opposed to “pushy journalist/interviewer”. And he’s just pure joy! Cannot wait for more new episodes! 🥰
-
JFouchAmazingLove the podcast. Have always loved Jesse and his guests are great. If possible, would love the name of the restaurant in the episode description as a reference.
-
Fan KPVery RelatableI enjoy listening to Jesse talk to his friends and hearing their stories and anecdotes. Even though these people are all celebrities it makes them more relatable and human to me. I laugh along with them
-
NanceNanceNanceLove loveI love this podcast. Just finished listening to Chelsea Clinton and could have listened much longer. Jesse has a great way with his guests and I enjoy his interview style very much Look forward to many future episodes
-
Flamenco Del ScorchoFav new podcast!I find this fascinating: learning about the restaurants, hearing what people order (and how they treat the service staff, the conversations & the affable personalities. JTF is a charming host!
-
Paul McCartney's MichelleMargo MartindaleI am the worlds biggest Steel Magnolias fan and loved hearing about the original cast from Margo! I was able to meet Bobby Harling’s parents in the city where the real Steel Magnolias happened and whose daughter was the real Shelbi. More people need to know this is a true story. Susan Harling Robinson is my true inspiration. Thank you for this episode!
-
American JamesMY FAVORITE PODCASTI am a big fan of JTF and he has outdone himself with the most delightful podcast ever. The format of dining with his guests is so inspired. The individuals with whom he shares a meal are all fascinating celebrities. Their encounters are funny, informative, and often quite moving. Each episode is akin to a wonderful therapy session.
-
JesseKBarronI love this show.I didn’t think I’d like this show. I thought “oh, another celebrity interview podcast.” What do people have left to share? This show is brilliant. I love it. Even how the server or chef walks up and you listen to the exchange. I love nothing more than breaking bread with fun and funny friends, and that is exactly what this show is. I’ve already listened to all of the published episodes and look forward to devouring future ones.
-
greeningthedreamMisophonia ChallengedInteresting entertaining interviews, so I’m giving 5 stars because i hate to ding anyone’s ratings over my personal feelings. But the eating and drinking noises are too much my misophonia can’t handle it. I’ve had to turn it off and stop listening more often than not. The concept of a conversation over a meal is great but perhaps better in theory than practice. I’ll revisit this one if they remove the eating lol.
