Dkandeezy23Love the showWild how you can go from one of the worst interviews on the show, Ben Baller, to one of the best, the GDA folks. Ben came off as so egotistical and narcissistic; meanwhile the GDA folks, who actually do something good for society, were very humble. But I generally love the show. Keep up the great work!

Star Rater 73Too Culver CitySounds like a paid promo. Not the best example of independent journalism.

Abbie_88It's a never ending love letter to LAI just absolutely love this podcast. It's truly a never ending love letter to this beautiful city. As a native Angeleno that is also a culture and history nerd I enjoy the deep dives into how LA has consistently changed and yet stays the same. There's no other city quite like Los Angeles.

DragonAllstar76Learning new thingsLove the podcast. Is funny how one can live in a city for so many years and not know much about is history. Thanks for the knowledge drop.
-
iangelenoThank you Evan!First, I’m sorry I’m late to this! I live in the DC area (been here for about 13 years), but I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I love your LA in a Minute posts on X, but now I’m hooked to this podcast after listening to your origin episode. I will try to catch up as quickly as I can, but these podcasts are the perfect cure to my LA homesickness, especially right now with the Dodgers in the World Series! Go Dodgers and go Evan!

AscopelitisAWSOME Show keep up the great workLove the show. Thank you for all the awesome content. So sad that it took this long for LA/Hollywood to realize what is going on. My wife works in the industry and it’s been a one two punch. Lost her job from a major studio and is trying to get her own company running around the industry but it’s been tough.

IE-JRodGreat Podcast"In a Minute" is a fantastic podcast for anyone who loves quick, insightful, and engaging content. Evan is an upbeat guy who packs a ton of information, and relatable stories into bite-sized episodes that are perfect for a quick listen during a break or commute. If you love history, you’ll love this podcast.

Chaviz84Refreshing Superb JournalismIn an era of negative news being reported daily, Adam’s “In a Minute” is a breath of fresh air. I love history, so facts absolutely matter and Adam makes sure everything he does his due diligence on every episode. Ironically he does a lot of shows about his local LA idols, but he will go down as one without a doubt. He shows LA love like no other. Much love and respect Adam. Sorry for the long winded review, it’s been a minute.

ScottielewIf you love, hate, or want to learn about LA, this is the show!Born and raised in So Cal and I have spent the last 13 years in the Bay Area. The Bay Area is where Iive but home is LA. It’s not perfect but it’s perfectly crafted for me. I miss it terribly and try to visit as often as I can. Your information, podcast, tweets, instagram posts just warms my heart and I thank you for providing an educational service for those of us that are unable to enjoy what LA has to offer. I listen religiously and share your stories to the people I know.

Cynthia Raslan🖤If you are curious about the City of Los Angeles, this podcast is a must to. Thank you for the list! Really appreciate it and can’t wait to check them out.

Remus Lupin :)LA in a minute - 5 starsI kind of grew up in LA, living there from 1969 to 1978. I enjoy listening to LA in a minute and remembering about cultural places such as Trader Joes (started on Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena), Pioneer Chicken (never ate there but remember their iconic sign), all of the fast food restaurants (Mickey Ds, Taco Bell).

AP10066Evan is Los Angeles!I have lived in L.A. for my entire life (36 years)! In the past two years, since following Evan on social media, I have learned more about L.A. and CA, overall, than I ever have before! I look forward to all of his posts, podcast episodes, insights, tips, tricks, and more! He is a one-stop-shop for all things Los Angeles, old, new, and exciting! He’s so worth a follow, and a listen! Evan has a zest for this city, unlike anyone else I know. In his sage words, “Let’s get into it!” :)

Hildmat88 things to do in LAThis episode was fabulous. Evan Lovett is so enthusiastic and informative. Even if you’re not a historian but want to find fun adventures in the city, this podcast will inform you of places to visit that are unusual. I want to drive to Paramount to see the famous ice rink and to Montebello to see the Armenian Genocide Monument after hearing his descriptions. I highly recommend this podcast for Angelinos who want to know more about their city.

WH socal_connoisseurAwesome LA History podcastEvan does an excellent job of covering LA history. The episodes are fun, informative, interactive, and of the heart. He truly loves LA and the city’s history and it shows through the tremendous effort he puts into his work. Follow him here, on IG, and wherever else if you’re interested in LA, the city’s history, or just want a chill podcast to listen to.

abroadsuiFun and InformativeI started following on IG and learned there was a podcast. I have to say, this is becoming one of my favorite, go-to, listens in the car. The facts are great. The way the podcasts are laid out are great. I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends reminiscing about LA. This is a great city and sometimes I forget. Thanks for this reminder that we live in an amazing place! Even if you don’t live here you’ll enjoy this if you like LA culture and history. PS - my Dad went to San Fernando Valley State too!! Keep up the excellent work!

DevonCWaldenLove LA In A Minute PodcastLA in a minute is a unique podcast with allot of good, interesting and accurate information on our wonderful city. I love Evan Lovette’s enthusiasm and his voice when he talks about random unknown facts about LA.
-
AshleyoftheriverGood info but bad advertisersI like the info he provides. Not everything is relevant to me but it is usually interesting. His sponsor is Culver City Toyota, though, and I had a horrible experience with them. It was so bad it makes it hard to listen to the show because I have to hear him saying they are ok.
-
Rumoured CityHuell would be proud.I’ve not seen anyone worthy of taking Huell Howser’s crown but Evan has come close. An easy listen for locals and admirers of the City of LA.
-
LeslieA22Worth the listen!Evan’s love for Los Angeles is apparent in every episode. His joy is infectious and the time he puts into researching each episode is incredible. I get annoyed when podcasts are longer than an hour because I just don’t have the time to listen. 🤣🤣 But today I had a bunch of errands to run so I put my earbud in and spent the afternoon with Evan and Jim - and boy am I glad I did! What a fun conversation to listen to! Thoroughly enjoyed it! I promise you will too! Five Stars again! 👍🏻👍🏻
-
Christian from HyattsvilleFactsI’ve listened to a few episodes now, and I’m hooked. Throw on “L.A. In A Minute” while you’re driving around this fair city to really put yourself in the mood. Keep up the great work, Evan!
-
YurihoodSorry dude the show is getting repetitive.Unfollowed the show, it seems you have gotten into this rut. I think I have heard about the Venice Canals and the Thai temple just one too many times.
-
mr. schadenfreudeI Love LA…I Love LA isn’t just a title of a great Randy Newman song, but really it’s the theme of this most interesting podcast — it’s a podcast of odd but interesting facts, humor, history, folklore, and more about the City of Angels which Evan (the host clearly loves). I highly recommend listening, not just from the current episode, but from the very beginning.
-
learzniznThis guy’s energy energy is fantastic!I don’t live in LA, I live about a 3 1/2 Hour Drive. from LA, but I love going to visit and this podcast gives me great ideas for doing touristy things and enjoying the city on a deeper level. Thank you Evan.

Fno323Great LA podcast!Came from the TikTok videos. Love how the podcast allows Evan to share more details. Just finished the Griffith Park episode and even though I live maybe 10 mins away I hardly ever go. Definitely got inspired to visit this weekend. I love learning history from the city. Great episode and great podcast!

Why-vaughn7 things not from LAJust got to this podcast. Just like the others I just finished, (grocery shopping in LA, neighborhoods in LA, Max prison in Lancaster, Karen Bass state of the city, and oh my gosh, the sports team one!!! ) All are just INCREDIBLE! I go for a month or so not being able to listen, But then i get so excited i get to binge a bunch of ‘em! Thanks for all of this wonderful information on LA. I’m a native - born at St Marys in the LBC. Not a lot of us!

Dunbar DickeyI love this show!Follow ‘LA in a Min’ on social media. Since moving here over 10 years ago, I’ve had a hard time getting a pulse on the city’s culture, but this podcast has scratched that itch. It’s charming, informative, and entertaining—a must-listen for Angelenos and newcomers alike.

ImaSuckerCheck out the big brain on EvanEvan reminds me of a modern day Huell Howser (Angelenos over the age of 35 should know) with his vast knowledge, enthusiasm and friendliness. There is zero filler, it’s all information you can use. I was born and raised during my formative years in Los Angeles, and hope to move back sometime fairly soon, so I’m “boning up” now with Evan’s insightful pod. Thanks, dude!
