    Recaps vs Audiobooks
Natalie and Harless do an excellent job covering the story content of Magic. My only complaint is the changing of the podcast format. The Phyrexian arc and shortly after, doing all of the story recaps, where the girls were telling their perspectives and flavor using some excerpts from the actual story, was excellent. Starting with Murders at Karlov Manor, the format changed to tell the audio story and then gave the recap, was pretty good. The recaps used more story quotes and were less original, but Natalie and Harless still did a great job. Bloomburrow is my wife’s favorite set, so when I asked if she wanted to hear the story, she was excited. However, we were disappointed to find the audiobooks and only one episode of recap that tried to condense the entire story into 45 minutes with very little of the trademark flavor and originality from the girls. I know you can’t please everyone, especially with something like a podcast, but I think it would be nice if we at least got an explanation on how and why things have changed (unless that type of a description is available on a different platform and not on the podcast directly). But overall, if you are curious or excited about the Magic story, this podcast is still a good resource.

Amazing one of the best things I’ve ever seen, I don’t know how you put the guilds into our houses.
Hope you guys are doing well, my name is Danny. One the best audiobook podcast I’ve ever listened to I have cerebral palsy, a condition that weakens , my muscles and I have to use a wheelchair to get around sometimes, but I start playing magic and I found out about characters like Duretti and Will, I finally realized that there were people like me and a card game like magic, you don’t see that in other forms of media. My favorite episode is episode four of Aetherdrift (to be honest, I can’t really remember what actual episode it was.) but I always remember what Duretti said: “ at least things can’t get any… Is that guy Weilding a chainsaw?” The only feedback I have is, check your subtitles, because sometimes it says the name, and sometimes it says something like instead of “Ajani” it says something like “AJohnny” it would be very helpful for those of us who rely on. Keep up the good work! Mardu and Marine Corps Strong! Horah!

Get a Copy of “The Thran” to these ladies fast
The hosts consistently tell inaccuracies in lore with so much confidence. Two examples off of the top of my head are: 1.) Karn accidentally created the Phyrexians. Which is a very bad retelling of what actually happened. - episode 27 2.) Urza built the Sylex. Which is obviously just an assumption stated as fact bc the Golgothian Sylex that Urza used at the end of the Brother’s War was found by Feldon. -episode 48 It’s very upsetting that an official WoTC podcast can have little to no oversight that this level of egregious misrepresentation of Magic lore is allowed to be released.

    Keeping the lore alive!
I used to read MTG stories to my kids at bedtime, but now they’re older—sadly, that time has passed. This podcast has been a great way to stay up on the lore, and I really appreciate the hosts’ enthusiasm for the stories and characters; it reminds me of my kids.

Great way to experience the story!!
I’ve been listening to this podcast since MOM and have enjoyed that it changed from a recap show to a reading of the story and a recap show. I think the newest format of all stories and then a recap episode is fantastic and works really well. I hope y'all continue this forever! I do have one complaint though. I think this show needs someone to do a QC listen before episodes get posted. Every episode this season has a had what was supposed to be a retake but it wasn’t cut out. Some episodes had multiple instances. This has happened in past season and it’s usually once or twice per season but this go round it was every single episode. Keep up the great work and i look forward to hearing more from y’all!!

    Have a magical day!
I just finished listening to the Bloomburrow content, and oh my paws, it is fantastic. Love the narration of the audiobook versions of the story, love the interviews, love the recap! And that person who complained about the hosts' voices should get their earbuds checked. I think they both have lovely voices!

    Amazing podcast
Natalie And Harless do an outstanding job of making the story come more alive and helps so much with understanding the stories my favorite podcast can’t wait for Bloomburrow to come out and we there take. Keep up your amazing podcast. Your the best.

Love binge listening these and hearing the hosts tidbits. Especially when they weave in the cards/art that line up with the story. Makes opening the cards much cooler! Excited to make lore/theme specific decks. Does anyone do that?

    Love this podcast
It is a perfect guide to the multiverse. Really enjoy it

    Slow
Only subbed to this podcast for the audio versions of the magic story, do not care about the episodes with the narrators summarizing and speculating. However, even with only caring about the magic story audio episodes, these releases are horribly slowly paced compared to the written story and the set release. The set is already fully released at this point and the story audio will still take an additional 5 weeks to finish. There’s no point in releasing the story if it doesn’t come out in conjunction with the cards - looking at the cards will have already spoiled the story at this point. It would be better to speed up the story audio releases in the future.

    Perfect Magic story podcast
This is exactly everything I’ve been looking for in a magic podcast, and the addition of the full narration of the episodes has brought it to the next level. Honestly I’ve been meaning to leave my review since the interview with Miguel Lopez and Ovidio Cartagena because the insight that episode gave to the design, high level of planning and execution of the story alongside the cards themselves was amazing to hear, and I would LOVE to have something similar for each new set. To hear the different perspective from the design and art teams was (and would be) an amazing addition. I am glad I waited to leave my review because the fact that you have included the narration going forward is absolutely brilliant. I typically listen on my ride to and from work, and your breakdown of the story had always been incredibly in depth and entertaining, but with a full time job and a toddler at home I just have had a hard time keeping up with the story itself, and while the YouTube narration was great, it’s much harder to be able to switch episodes while I’m driving. You are both amazing, keep up the amazing work you do!! TLDR: (for potential listeners) Natalie and Harless and amazing, the new addition of the narration of the story is a huge bonus to an already brilliant analysis and I look forward to more interviews with the design team.

    Deeper lore
The mtg worlds are brilliant and unique and I love every bit of lore I can find, especially on Ixalan and Kaladesh. Thank you for making this!

    Great show for great IP
With the upcoming ubiquity of universes beyond, this kind of content feels really important to Magic. I’ve been a vorthos since the 90s but have a blast listening to these two discover and fall into the worlds. Now that the stories aren’t so planeswalker(/avengers) focused, newer players have a gateway to get into these diverse and colorful planes. Keep up there great ‘casts, I’ll keep tuning in!

    Great show
Hosts make connections i miss especially between stories and game. I love when they point out specific card art that depicts a story moment. Excellent story telling voices.

    Absolutely wonderful.
Absolutely love listening to this podcast while at work to catch up with the magic story. They explain everything so easily and help me keep tracking of what has been going on in the multiverse.

    A great Introduction
For anyone looking to get into the lore of MtG or just get further encapsulated into it, this is the best possible way to do so.
  • LoonyMouse
    Wonderful
I love these cliff notes of the magic story. I am so happy this is available.

    I finally get it
This is such a fantastic gateway into the Magic world. It’s always been a bit daunting to dive into the history, but the hosts have such a fun way of sharing and explaining what’s going on in the world to listeners. Came for the story, stayed for the banter. Highly recommended for all fans, new and old.

    Amazing Return!
So happy it’s back! I’ve followed the Magic story since Arena. It’s like listening to friends talk about the story. Love the new format and can’t wait for more episodes. Keep up the beautiful and amazing work!

Great for old fans and new
I played Magic as a teenager 30 years ago, and I am just recently getting back into it. This podcast is an amazing way to get caught up on the rich story and mythology that continues to grow! Great production and fantastic job to the hosts!

    Interesting and entertaining
I was looking for a little more insight into the story behind Magic, and this podcast hits the spot. Thoroughly enjoyable, accessible and entertaining - I don’t even care that I’m listening to the seasons out of order.

These two are super good at doing this I really look forward to the next episode. But the shows come out really late. I think the episodes should come out more often

    i'm annoyingly picky...
...about podcasts. i can't listen to just anyone talk for 15-30 mins. but i absolutely LOVE these two! they're so passionate and invested in the story. it's a joy to listen to.
