EJBroxThis one goes to 11This podcast is amazing! Thanks for normalizing Jewish American young adulthood. You’ve inspired me to rewatch my bar mitzvah footage from way back, which I swore I’d never do again. Mazel Tov!

Muno11Funny, interesting but also dives deeply.I really really like this show and enjoy it a lot. I find the topics and guests funny and interesting. But they are also authentic and they do a little bit of a deep dive into adolescent (which is not always a positive topic). There are obviously tons of podcasts out there, and this one certainly has a specific niche to make it stand out. The one thing I would say is…sometimes, hosts go away from microphone a little and the volume/sound becomes light or faint. I am sure this is a well oiled machine and a big time podcast studio and company. Get the fancy microphone!

ooooAshleyooooBEST PODCAST EVERI have been listening to podcasts since 2010 when I was still in highschool, and this is BY FAR the best podcast I have ever listened too! Alana and Sasha are not only incredibly hilarious, and endearing, but their stories are also super relatable. It also has been very therapeutic to go back to 7th grade, and has helped me process lots of stuff and give my younger self a huge hug. I can’t wait for season 2! Please do a Danielle and Este part 2!

gephickafrom your one gen Z listenerI really love this podcast- it’s so cool that even though I definitely didn’t grow up in the same time as y’all I still relate so much It really feels like you’re with your best friends sitting around a table drinking in the best way possible

clglistensMom fanI’m a Valley girl, now mom of adult kids, who loves Haim and also was a huge geek at Portola Jr High and Birmingham. Love the podcast, love the banter. Also, I want to fix up Alana with my son, the cute music producer who lives in North Hollywood. Grew up on Sasha’s street in the Palisades. He would kill me if he knew. But check out his band Courtship and DM him @micahggg. Keep the episodes coming girls!!!

Anna3200Obsessed with nostalgia + my comfort showI look forward to every Tuesday with this show! I am a massive Haim fan so of course I was hooked when Alana and Sasha announced Free Period. I’m just as obsessed with the idea of nostalgia as them and love reliving my inner 7th-grader. I love getting to know more about Alana and Sasha and the lovely guests they have on. I would die to have a drink (or take a shot every time Alana says “I’ll never forget”) with these gals and obsess over 7th grade. Thanks for making Tuesdays my comfort day with the show ❤️

Shank1997My comfort show!!I know they joke about this being therapy, but I genuinely feel like listening to this podcast has been such an important experience. I binged all the episodes they’ve made so far and I just feel seen and understood, and it’s makes my heart almost burst to realize that we all lived through these embarrassing, relatable, heartwarming situations. Feel like they’re my cool older sisters <3

Im a 26 year old guy and this show has me unlocking memories of my life in 7th grade that I completely forgot. Basically a hour long nostalgia trip every week and I'm here for it. YaySpidersBrutally Honest In The Best WayLove this so much! The more people are willing to air out their horror stories of adolescence, the easier it becomes for everyone going through it. Especially when the airers are killing it in adulthood to the degree that these two are. It should give hope to everyone suffering through the painful awkwardness of middle and high school. It really does get better. I was already a fan of Alana’s from HAIM and Licorice Pizza, but I’m loving Sasha too, and will definitely be checking out all that she’s been up to. Forgive me, I’m old and under a rock sometimes when it comes to current pop culture so I didn’t know her previous to this. I’m late Gen-X, so I can’t necessarily relate to all of the millenial references here, but most of the feelings and experiences are timeless and universal. Really looking forward to the upcoming episodes and guests. A minor note on content: The rating needs to be changed to Explicit. Personally, I could not possibly care less and frankly, I don’t think you can talk about these years of your life without copious swearing and details some may find TMI, but I know that there are people who will appreciate the heads up.
