The Clockwork timeAmazingPeople: outstanding Story writing: fantastic World building: an absolute dream An absolute wonder to listen too. Too all of the crew, players, DM, sound artist, and guest stars, thank you for making such an immaculate piece of art. Spoiler warning?: One thing I do want to point out, some of the story points remind me of mistborn, by Brandon Sanderson. A self-proclaimed “god emperor”, who sets out on a crusade to diminish all other deity’s. On this path hides, and claims to controls a lost magical art, handing it out to only to whom he desires (a little loose comparison). Robed individuals who have immense powers, that heed to the “god emperor” (inquisitors). Also, the story may be hinting at the “god emperor” may be doing what they are doing for the better of all living things, against two “gods”, but is not exactly a kind person while doing this. This is meant to be an observation, rather than calling you all out. I love this story, well both stories, but I mean Rally, and even if it is, this is a mind massage of a good time. No disrespect of this analysis is meant. Again, love you guys, and this story. Please stay inspired to continue this journey.

MichaelMcFarA Hidden Gem in the Realm of PodcastsThere are podcasts, and then there is this show, an underrated masterpiece that seamlessly weaves laughter, tears, and relentless suspense into each episode. Every moment feels like a spellbinding journey, where you, the listener, are as much a part of the adventure as the cast of characters themselves. The Dungeon Master, a narrative conjurer, brings an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary, spinning fascinating tales that both honor and transcend the well-trodden paths of fantasy lore. Each episode is a unique concoction of interesting twists, rendering cliché scenes into something refreshingly original and unexpectedly captivating. The cast is the beating heart of the podcast. Each character is meticulously crafted and brimming with life, drawing listeners into the complex, mesmerizing town of Rally with each roll of the dice. Their performances are not just heard but felt, igniting the imagination and conjuring a vibrant, living world that lingers long after each episode concludes. In a landscape saturated with content, this show stands as a testament to the transformative power of storytelling, exemplifying the magic that ensues when compelling narratives intertwine with impassioned performances. For the uninitiated and seasoned players of Dungeons and Dragons alike, this podcast promises a sojourn into a world where fantasy and reality converge, every episode a doorway to a realm where epic sagas unfold, and legendary tales are born. In essence, this podcast is not just a show but an experience, an invigorating plunge into the enchanting depths of fantasy, an odyssey that promises listeners not just a story, but a world teeming with intrigue, danger, and wonder. It's more than a listen; it's an adventure that awaits the brave souls willing to take the plunge into the mysterious world that surrounds Rally.

beardyplaisanceFantastic Storytelling and Production!Unbalanced Encounters has put together an incredible cast that bring the characters and story to life. Cinder, Craig, Sam, and Emily play off eachother fantastically, and are obviously having a blast building this world together and encouraging eachother's character growth. The voicework is top notch, the character designs and choices beautifully done, and the organic interactions between each will have you begging for more time with this group. Patrick Perini is an engaging game master, and has somehow created a setting both cozy and thrilling. His descriptions will place you right there in the world, and his innate knack for encouraging player choices and letting the characters breathe sets this actual play apart. The game runs super smooth, the sound production is top notch, and the story will hook you, snuggle you, and punch you in the gut, successively. Listen y'all: You'll wish you were in Rally.

SerDavosMaybe get a new DMNot sure why the DM yells at the start of every episode, or why he does painfully terrible character voices. This show lacks polish and direction.

BoyyyuuuHigh CharismaThe way all of the PCs interact is *chefs kiss*. The story is intriguing and makes you constantly want to keep listening. Also, can we talk about the amazing energy the DM brings to the table? It is so apparent that everyone involved in this podcast is happy to be there and fully invested! Highly recommend!

cmk470Worthwhile ListenI am an avid audio book listener and this is the first actual play D&D podcast that I find myself listening to the same why I do an audiobook. Yes, the first episode had some technical glitches, but other than that, the sheer quality of the production value is fantastic. Can’t wait to see how it grows and become even better than its fantastic premiere episode.

Cake_ninjaI’m just here so I don’t get finedI was told that it’s a felony not to leave a five star review on the first episodes of a new podcast by a very reliable source. But in all seriousness I will be subscribing, it’s pretty funny and well planned out despite some early technical difficulties.

World Building WomanLISTENER BEWARE: Not to be enjoyed while consuming beverages. You will choke from laughter. From the moment I started the first episode, I was laughing along with the cast. Patrick does a fantastic job weaving together the story and bringing things to life, while the rest of the cast is EXCEPTIONAL with their creative characters. I’m THRILLED to see this group of individuals partner up to bring us these stories. I’m living for the giggles, guffaws, shenanigans, and tomfoolery in the rest of the series. 👏 👏 👏 Keep it up you ridiculously wonderful beings!
