I have been distant from God and I was at work one morning and something enticed me to look for a podcast that I could listen to while I work in regards to God. I was looking for a podcast that reads the Bible AND explains what we read because I didn’t have time to read it nor could I understand it. I listened to a couple of other Biblical podcasts and I ended up leaving it. I found this podcast and I have been with Rachel since I first heard her podcast. She is amazing! Reading the Bible while explaining it. It has touched my soul and heart where I started yearning to close my distance from God. Her voice is gentle and calming and I love her background. Her prayers are healing.

I can’t tell you how much closer this podcast and deeper dive into scriptures has brought me to Jesus. I couldn’t recommend this podcast more. Rachel is a passionate teacher with a passion for scripture and a heart on fire for the truths of the Bible!

Her teaching/ explanations allow me to understand Gods word easier. Things make more sense than me trying to study this on my own. She puts things into perspective love it give it a try. It’s great for the whole family ❤️

I sought out a study or podcast or something, literally anything that could help me understand the Bible. I’ve been a Christian since childhood, raised in church and Christian school. No one has ever explained the Bible so well. I am actually excited everyday to listen and learn, most days I listen in the car and at home, just all day long. I’m basically binge listening to the Bible! I love the slow read through of Genesis and have shared with all of my friends and social media followers.

If you want to dive deeper into God's word and get a good breakdown this is the podcast for you. Sometimes Rachel will focus on a verse or two or maybe a bigger chunk. No matter the number of verses, she will always dissect it and take you back to how the original audience would have understood it within the context of when it was written. Nothing discussed is ever boring and it has given me a better understanding of the word and gets the wheels turning. I’m thankful to have found this podcast and always look forward to listening in.

approaches teaching the good word in such a thoughtful in-depth way while still keeping the message she’s highlighting for the day clear and strong for anybody. making this podcast CANT POSSIBLY be as easy and smooth as she makes it seem. she’ll untie a knot i’ve had in my heart for years about a passage in 25 minutes or less by explaining the true meaning, the real-world circumstances, and how to learn from the word of God and apply it in everyday life. Rachel is the second smartest minister i’ve ever experienced and i showed the show to the first smartest and he flat out said that she is clearly something special. thank you Rachel Grohl (spoiler alert everybody, just trust in God)

I enjoy the podcast however i find myself choosing to listen to something else a lot of the time because more than half the episode is ads. Its not an easy listen on my commute or while cleaning the house because you have to manually fast forward through an advertisement every 5 minutes. I feel like there is a way to advertise that is less obvious and allows for more of the important content to reach the listener.

This is my first time hearing this Podcast and at the very first episode I am floored… I excitedly await the next episode drop. Thank you Lord for leading me here and to Rachel for your insight into your perspective on scripture.

I appreciate how passionate Rachel is about living through God’s Word. She’s always sharing so much wisdom and life lessons through her own ministry and missionary work. My only gripe is the episodes are short and half of the time you’re skipping through ads. First time listening, but not my last! Pastor Richmond from Uganda shared his story of tragedy, poverty and struggle as a child. Enter a 15 year old girl who said yes to God’s tug on her heart at a concert. She chose to sponsor young richmond, and over time all six children were sponsored. Their lives were changed as they found hope and salvation in Christ. Now he is a pastor and trains pastors!

For a few years now I have been working towards learning and strengthening my relationship with God. What is truly amazing about this podcast is that each and every time I listen it is exactly the message and guidance I need to hear at that time. So thankful!

Even though I’ve walked with Jesus a long time and studied the Bible tons through women’s Bible study at my church, I still am learning so much every day from this podcast. It’s helping my spiritual walk to much. I pray that God protects Rachael and keeps her heart pure and uncorrupted.

As a young woman I struggle with the whole “go to church” idea. I feel like it’s a social gathering and it never gave me that deep, genuine connection with our father.
