I’m one of the fortunate ones who gets to work at Leader Dog. I’m going into my 13th year and I would think I couldn’t learn more than I already have but I’ve learned even more with the addition of this podcast! So informative! As a puppy raiser of eight Leader Dogs, I also love and appreciate all the client stories. Brilliant!

After receiving O and M training at Leader Dog, and now awaiting my return date for my first Leader Dog, I discovered this podcast and it quickly became my favorite! Listening to every single one to entertain and educate myself about everything to do with blindness and Leader Dog. I feel like Tim, Leslie, and Christina are entertaining and feel like family. Keep them coming guys! Maybe I’ll run into y’all when I get to Leader Dog for training soon.

This was the first time hearing this podcast. I went back and listened to each of them. They were all so very helpful, and gave comfort that I wasn’t the only one. I am doing the mobility training with my cane now. It has opened so much for me to be able to clam back the mobility . I loved how much you guys explained not to be afraid of taking that step toward doing a lead dog also. I hadn’t know Much about or that that was out there. I can’t wait to to see what this journey holds for me.

This is my life in a nutshell. I’ve had so many people who speak to me loud or tell me it’s safe to cross when I’m just using my ears to evaluate traffic patterns. And I had someone help me across a street only to be told halfway across that I was waiting for a ride and wasn’t crossing. This podcast was amazing and well presented. And Leslie was my AOM instructor 7-1/2 years ago. It is because of her that I feel safe traveling at night.
