I’ve been a longtime player of Destiny, since Destiny 1 back when The Taken King released. I thought I knew enough about the Destiny lore, since I watched all the cutscenes. Woah boy, was I wrong lol. This show is well done and kept me sane through some long drives for work. It’s always fascinating to learn more about the deeper aspects of this game, and you both do an amazing job of breaking down the lore so it’s easy to understand. Thank you again and I hope you continue this show for a long time to come!

I’ve enjoyed each episode, it’s made me fall in love with this game more and more learning about each story complied into entertaining and engaging Ztories. As a hunter main who’s look is inspired by Oryx after obtaining ToM lol. I wish you all well and to have more great regaling tales from all this great lore, Also continue to have fun with just a touch of malice until all are taken I am Oryx the ExoKing.

This is my first review ever but I had to leave one just to explain how good you guys are, You often help me catch up with lore or information I forgot about and didn't catch the first time. But I had a question about the Glaive WinterBite, I read the lore recently and it occurred to me that what if the Glaive was a Subjugator’s Stasis Glaive and the thing that attacked the ship in the lore tab was a Subjugator? Anyway Keep it up and much love!

Legit one of the best nerd-out podcasts I’ve delved into. I’m a late addition to the D2 world (lightfall was my “pick-back-up” after D1) and never really got into the lore. Now that I’ve found a lore outlet to binge, I literally cannot progress the mundane beer vendor life without an “autopilot escape”. Can’t wait to be caught up. Love you guys.

Destiny at first was my escape from me yelling at my tv because i was being griefed in GTAO. this game really grew on me. i have always been a sucker for a good game that has good storytelling like Destiny (d2 was my first destiny experience circa coldheart as a dlc code, and gamestop selling new physical copies for $5.99; yes i have proof). i’ve always been into kemetic, and greek mythology as a child. so to see characters like Osiris, and even Rasputin have deeper inspiration , it makes the internet chills in me excited! plus, this was the first game that i’ve played to ever get the bow mechanics to the letter! and i’ve met my current best friend because of doing the “comfort dance” in front of her in Io. (i’m from nyc). I have been paying the annual $100 c*lt fee for the last six years now, and i do not regret a payment made. the story in-game is so worth it, but what the two of you have been doing, brings the entire player experience full circle. for the last two years, i have played this podcast during my overnight shifts, train/bus rides, and in between my personal time doing chores around the house. (MERCHANDISING!!!!) hearing how dedicated you two were to put out content when you’re even sick, and not as capable to deliver in wide vocal range, even just shows the commitment. i’d add ten stars to this review if i could. my fave episode(s) has to be the bray series. here’s to the two of you being my favorite way to follow the behind the scenes of this game that i wish i knew about earlier in my gaming career. see you starside! PS: AND YES I DO FEEL THAT BUNGIE ADDED THE “Myths and stories” BIT SHINING THEIR LIGHT ON YOU!!! I have been playing destiny since d1 and never really got to much into the lore, but I decided I wanted to learn more about the destiny universe and I came about this show. I have learned a lot.

I have been listening for a phew months now and these guys do such great work! I also love how interactive they are with their community. I reached out on twitter a while ago and they had suggested I listen to the history of the Awoken. After just finishing I can safely say that these two have revitalized a love for this game that I have been lacking lately. I can’t wait to hear more from them and catch up on so many stories they have already told. Keep up the great work!

I spent about a year just as a Risen, repeating Destiny’s playlists with friends because it was free and crossplay. We were battling and fighting without knowing who we fought or why we were killing - until this podcast. Starting from the Penguins of Europa now we’re hooked. We joined a clan, bought all the expansions, and I’ve been named the Scribe of our new clan because I’m now the lore guy. Beyond the Destiny lore, I really appreciate your personal, human takes - and I’ve teared up with Zor a few times, especially during Aisha’s story. Absolutely love listening to you two and your brainstorming banter, myths spot on predictions, and Zor's…. Well he makes me laugh. And I think that’s plenty. I listen to you guys like it’s a full time job (40-50 hours per week) you have made me fall in love with the lore of the universe just when I was falling out of love with the game. This podcast is the highlight of my week, because my fireteam is just not into the lore of the game, sadly. As someone who got all of is lore from YouTube sources, finding you guys has made ingesting all of lore available so much easier. My days at work go by much quicker with you. My first episode was the Veil Containment logs, and now it’s got quite a few to backtrack on, but the light tells me it will be well worth it. Just listened to the final shape show. Amazing insight on speculations for final shape and beyond. I’ve been into the lore and have played since D1 beta but this podcast offers such interesting angles on lore topics that have been around. Definitely tuning in every week from here on out!

You guys are amazing! Been playing Destiny since D1 TK and got really into the Lore during D2 vanilla. I only discovered your podcast a few months ago and I can’t believe I never discovered you before then. When I did I was instantly hooked. I tried to listen to you guys at work, but whenever I would get a phone call, email, or just a general task from the higher ups, I would get visibly upset that my Myths and Ztories were being interrupted. I’ve been play d1 since d1, but because of life(kids😑). I haven’t been able to play/grind as much as I would like. Between Mythbourn’s unmeasurable knowledge, and zorialus crazy theories, and unstoppable crying(a very warlock thing to do). Y’all have become a bed time ritual for me and my daughter. I love the show guys, I’ve been playing D2 solo since the start of the warmind expansion so I never got to hear the full story of this amazing game and so I started looking for ways to listen and read it just to please that hunger more lore(loot) and of course I ran into Byf daddy on the tubes but then I found you guys and OMG from myths amazing voices and just overall story telling to Zore’s comments and mind blown moments are exactly how I react when I’m listening to this but finally this one is for Zore and maybe for Myth to bust but what if Ahsa and alone removed Oryx’s worm but not keeping it making her the “Taken queen “ but not actually assumed the mantle and that’s why she is partially taken!? I love this show so thank you to both of you and to everyone who helps put this together thank you a lot

I am a newer player having only started last year, but I’m a huge lover of story and lore. These guys - the way they break it down by character or storyline or faction, etc. really make it easy to digest the incredibly vast universe that Destiny has to offer and lets newer players, like me, see into the nooks and crannies of this incredibly wide world! F***ing Toland told me to find lore for destiny. For some Vex reason I found this podcast and haven’t been able to stop listening since. I’ve been listening for about a month and more than halfway through the back log. Y’all keep it going. IIIIIIIII.

One host lacks eloquence and just word vomits all the time. If he’s supposed to be the color commentator it’s dumb. All he does is say he’s about to cry. Lore is great though, great deep dive.

Returning Destiny player. Found your podcast while doing a search and found lore gold. The chemistry and AHaaa moments that you guys have is unmatched. Great listen, especially while working. Must say I’m kinda jealous of any raid team you both are a part of. Keep up the great work guys.

I’m one episode down in your podcast, an I’m already excited to hear what happens in the dark future story. I play to play an save the lore for when I’m working or driving or lvl an grinding and it’s the more in depth then byf granted I only listen to his big videos. I love the way yous tell the story keep it up will definitely be a continuing to listen in the future.

I have been a Destiny player since Dark Below's expansion. I love the game for its Sci-Fi combat style fireteam play with massive depth of content, but Destiny has always struggled to get all over their content into story telling and hides much of the lore into grimoire… which can be even more confusing as you never get it in a sequential order. But why am I telling you this, if you have played the game for a season you know it’s all true. There are a lot of lore historians out there and they are great and I thank them all for their time helping educate and literalist the community with stories we may have missed. Myth has amazing knowledge and depth of history for all the game content to make sense, Ztories is a jackass joke-man who makes the content entertaining and fun, combined they make a 1-2 punch like Ikora and Cayde on coms for a strike run. Back listening all the old content and eagerly anticipating what you have in store for the Lightfall season. Fantastic!!!

I’m new to Destiny I just started playing this last fall. So I don’t know much about the game or the lore. This podcast has help me understand things about the game that I was confused about. I love to listen well I’m working it makes the day go by faster. This podcast is perfect for anyone who has an interest in learning more about Destiny. Can’t wait for the next episode.

The voices that Myth uses during the readings are incredible and make the readings so dramatic and great. Zorialus always has great reactions and makes connections between different readings that show a bigger picture. Just great work all around. I found you guys when I was looking for a general lore podcast after returning to Destiny from a 2 year break . I knew the general story of the books of sorrow but saw that you guys covered it and started there. Little did I know how well you both did at covering that story and I was hooked. I learned so much more about it that I didn’t know and it made me want to pay more attention to the awesome lore this game has to offer! As of today I’ve listened to all of the episodes and I’m a little sad that I’ll have to wait a week between each one now. You both bring a new and fresh take on destiny lore. Most lore dads just read the lore and list their theories, but the way you both bounce off each other is just so much more engaging and interesting! Keep it up!!!

Discovered you guys a couple weeks ago and have been obsessed. You guys have a good dynamic and an awesome structure! I love the chapter reads followed by recap/reaction. It really brings the whole Destiny lore to life! One question tho. Would you guys ever do interviews? I love Destiny but fell off for a bit due to becoming a parent. Their enthusiasm and presentation have sucked me back in and keep me incredibly invested in the universe, even though I can’t put in many hours in-game. I recommend their content to lots of people wanting to learn more about Destiny.
