    Very good analysis…
They’re more on the serious side but nothing to complain about here. Enjoying my Silo and Foudnation recaps. Check out Bald Move for additional excellent coverage. Update Jan 2025: Digging the 3 Body Problem coverage, boys!

    Back to the Future
Deducting 3 stars for never watched Back to the Future. Will restore 1 star for deep dive for each part of the trilogy.

    Great Discussions
I love listening to Zach and Mario discuss my favorite shows. Their insights are thoughtful and help me to better appreciate the shows I enjoy.

    Put some effort in
Do you use notes for any of your shows? Or do you just wing it every episode? Any research at all? The character of Auggie is an "iconic" character? On a brand new show based on a book you've probably never heard of. This isn't the first show I've heard your coverage of, and it seems like you just kind of ramble. I generally feel bad for Zach too, because you always talk over him and make him kind of the side kick, starting right from the intro "I'm your host" putting Zach in a secondary role, while he's actually the co-host. But hey, not my problem

Great podcast for these AppleTV+ shows
Please do podcast on these great shows: Shogun on FX/Hulu, Sugar on AppleTV+, Fallout on Amazon, just to name a few.

Idk who these guys are, but
The only reason I even listened to them is because I was searching around for Masters of the Air podcasts. Listened to their first episode for it and I just want to say: try to do a smidge of research before hitting record. There’s one part where they are talking about the German “fighter jets” (there were no jets at this time) and didn’t know that the German airforce was called luftwaffe. If you can’t get these basics down, then don’t even attempt to approach the subject matter I stopped listening after that.

    MAGA nuts
I like my entertainment commentary without traitorous, authoritarian right wing propaganda. Won’t ever listen to this show again.

They Think They Are Fox News Hosts
If you are MAGA and want to hear like-minded people inject their uniformed political opinions into a podcast about entertainment on TV, these are your guys. I used to think they were decent. Now that they have gone political, I’m out. Not real bright, guys!
  • Tonbara
    Too comfortable.
Started this podcast during HoD which was decent. Been a downward spiral since. Laced with racist, xenophobic and misogynistic personal opinions and attack any concept that bucks their myopic view of the world.
  • NoNamer61
    No political analysts.
I use to like this but then they started joking and making unnecessary comments about US politics that they know nothing about.

    Enjoying Monarch, For All Mankind
I am hoping somehow Margo is returned to the USA may be in a swap (sadly she is too useful) but anyway, these are fun discussion's. I really was not into Monarch until I listen to the discussions and then went back and watched the series and was able to enjoy it far more so thank you.

    Keep up the great job
Don’t let these haters deter you. You guys are doing an awesome job and I really enjoy all your content.

    Unfortunate
They seem like nice guys, but unfortunately they don’t know what they’re talking about at least in respect to Foundation. Foundation is a complicated show which needs an actually viewing to be able to talk about it. Two stars because the guys seem sincere.

    Do some prep!
I enjoy the banter somewhat but the hosts don’t seem to know the most basic of info- show titles, character or actor names. Very amateurish.
  • PSLinden
    Underwhelming
I echo other reviewers in that the podcasters seem to be underprepared and rambling. Overall, I just found their episodes regarding Silo to be boring and unfocused. Decided to try their first podcast for the new Foundation season and it was worse. I would check out some of the other podcasts out there discussing these series. Much better options are out there.

    Unprepared, Rambling and Dead Air
Two guys doing a podcast just to do it. I liked it at first until after a few episodes you notice these guys hardly prepare and just ramble aimlessly. So many times I have thought I accidentally hit pause, but it’s just dead air with neither one talking. I’m finally unsubbing after finding the official podcast is way superior and professionally produced.

    Best Show Breakdown
This show gives the best breakdown and theories of the episode. They get into everything - the characters, plot and more. I really enjoy listening
  • SeaBeef
    Good but room for improvement
I enjoy listening to this show for the Silo coverage, but the main host, Mario, should allow the other host to talk a bit more. The way he speaks is very focused on his own thoughts and he rarely leaves room for others’ opinion- it can come off as a bit condescending. That being said, I will be tuning in for S2, their recaps are decent and I like their banter.

    Make your life better!
Excellent companion podcast that will enhance the viewing experience of any show they cover. Insightful, thoughtful, and humorous commentary. These guys have an easy-going rapport with each other that make their coverage an enjoyable experience. Highest recommendation!

    Best Silo Pod
Best Silo pod. The guys are fun to listen to and provide good analysis. The chemistry is great and I love the quick take followed by the deep dive. Will be checking for their other pods. Thanks fellows.

    Best Silo Podcast!
The best Silo podcast I’ve found so far! Even though some of their theories are a little silly or they may miss a few details, I really enjoy the discussions. They’re super adorable and have a fun banter to listen to! I love that the podcast isn’t over-produced, it feels like listening to friends discussing a show. Honestly, I might watch Foundation just to have some more episodes to listen to!

Great Podcast discussing a great show
This podcast about the show Silo was the first one I found. It is also the last one I found because I stopped searching. It is that good. The hosts (Mario and Zach) have a genuine enthusiasm for the show and in each episode, they theorize about what is going on and why. They have good chemistry together and are very entertaining. They also do a good job of NOT both talking at the same time. Silo season 1 has just finished, but the podcast will be discussing Foundation and Black Mirror. I expect the episodes to be just as entertaining, informative and thought-provoking.

    Good but Skyline talk??? #Spoilers
Good convo on the show and good analysis of the dramatization of a beloved, fictional series into a television program. With that being said I l highly recommend the program with some thoughts. I take major flaws with the Podcasters not recognizing that the big “FireKeepers” moment alkylates to the books clearly saying the Silo is in Georgia… and they’re questioning if the location is actually New York? I don’t think it’s supposed to be a mystery in the mystery driven show 🕵🏽‍♀️? I loved how the author has elaborated on some characters he didn’t initially have a full backstory for based on the publishing format of the Wool, Shift, Dust series. However the television, for my did not allow their skepticism to play to the human heart strings like I did in the book. I felt like I was rooting for characters who did not have enough of the backstory on watching the show, but still love to see them in person and can tell they are developing bigger storylines for the future. l love the show just a little too much of a side reach without explanation for five star rating. With that being said, still a five star show if your not a book follower… and an over five stars book/series if you’re up for an awesome dystopian future read.

    Great Sci Fi pod!
This is a fun and interesting sci fi pod for some of the better sci fi shows out there. Mario and Zach are down to earth and give great insight. These guys make it look easy. Sound quality is great. They don’t spoil any future episodes but they do like to make predictions which is enjoyable. Looking forward to more!
  • BeckyCS101
I’m so happy to have found you before Silo finale!
Now I’m rewatching and going back to listen your past podcasts. Can’t wait for you to cover Foundation Season 2 with you guys. You two make the show even better!
  • Ishine_407
    Huge Fan!
I really enjoy the chemistry and commentary on my favorite show. There are a ton of options but this show just stands out. I’ll be subscribing to the upcoming season of Foundation.
  • Not_Travis
    Great companion pod!
Love this show. Zach and Mario are funny and have insightful things to say.

    Happy to tune in 😊🤗
This has recently become one of my favorite podcasts Love the commentary! 🫶🏼🫰🏼 First began listening to Story Archives for their last of us coverage then the beef episode

A must follow for Apple TV Subscribers!
As a fan of sci-fi melodrama, Silo and Foundation are two of my favorite shows right now. I’m so glad to have found a podcast covering both! Mario and Zachary are also fans of the genre and have interesting and insightful things to say about each episode. I look forward to each podcast and hope they keep it up and keep adding more shows!

    They Grow on You
It took a few episodes, but they’ve grown on me and now I look forward to hearing a breakdown of Silo. Hard to find good coverage and they’re providing it for Silo Unfortunately, when it comes to their Foundation coverage, they’ve assigned themselves the unenviable task of the impossible, which is to talk about a show they’ve clearly seen as if they’ve never traveled beyond the episode at hand. I’m not sure if I could do any better myself, but I certainly hope I’d avoid pretending I’m making predictions about a known andpre-observed future. It is the definition of ‘cute by half’
  • stko
Good discussion of each episode by two TV nerds
Mario and Zachary have a good rapport, and their different styles complement each other well.
  • LeAnn_Rhymes
    GREAT podcast
I enjoy listening to this podcast as much as I enjoy watching the actual show. I look forward to hearing their take on what transpired and often find myself going back to the episodes to find spots they’ve highlighted that I missed. Also, genuinely appreciate how down-to-earth the hosts are and how they approach dissecting the episodes without being pretentious about it. Keep up the great work, guys!
  • ccins11
    Not worth your time.
I knew when the guy said “they never explained the polar bear on Lost” that Silo is going to be way way above their heads and it is not worth the time and frustration to listen to them try to grasp simple things.
  • jjjfffooo
    Absolutely zero media literacy
I love a good deep dive podcast, but I just can’t handle these guys anymore. The things they choose to dive deep into are so clearly not the mysteries of the show, I have a hard time understanding what they could possibly be confused about. Case in point: you really think something that is clearly presented as a camcorder and looks like a camcorder actually isn’t one because you think that would be “too obvious.” WHAT?
  • missgeegee2020
please be prepared and stay on topic
I wish these guys would take notes and know what they are gonna talk about in advance. They can’t remember the names of actors or characters. they keep going off on tangents that have nothing to do with the show. It’s frustrating and hard to stay engaged
  • FredCorvi
Good - appreciate the conversational approach
They discuss the show like one would with friends and that’s refreshing enough for me to listen to week after week. Thanks! And they do a great job of pointing out many things I missed.
  • BigBlue4Life
    Good, not great
I enjoy the recap of the episode, but they really don’t offer any insight and often don’t seem prepared for the show.
  • Monkey Maze
    Really good deep dive
Thank you for breaking down this weird show. I really enjoy your analysis and predictions.
  • Drey Diggz
    Best Silo Podcast
I’ve listened to 3 other Silo podcasts. They just weren’t doing it for me so I kept on searching. I found this one and knew I didn’t have to search any more. No matter how wrong they are on their theories. Lol. I am catching up and listening to a theory that I already know is so wrong is pretty funny. At least they are consistent. Lol
  • squishy69LOL
    Good podcast
The guy who talks the most is great. The other one needs to stop doing “cool podcast guy” voice. You can use inflection.
  • Shifty Wool
    Not bad
It’s a good enough podcast, but the hosts have no knowledge of the book trilogy past the first short story, it seems. That’s a disappoint to me personally. I’ve been excited to hear some discussions about the upcoming storylines, perhaps in a “spoiler” section.
  • Derrat68
    Okay
You guys haven’t heard of steam powered engines?
  • SugarK
At least know the name of the actors
Come on guys. Why spend time with people who can’t provide more in depth review and actually know the name of the actors. Geez. Do some work before you podcast.
  • Micaela44
    Love it!
Very well done, they helped explain a lot of things in the show that I was always confused about! Thank you! Love the show 😊
  • Lieslux
    Thoughtful and fun
I am a former English teacher who likes to process well written works as I absorb them. I finally decided to wade into Peaky Blinders and found this show- one of the few I could find that dealt with the entire series. One of the first things I heard was the hosts trying to remember the name of “that rock concert in the 60s.” (I started it in season 4.) I was afraid I was confronting an unworkable generation gap when the discussion was being led by kids who didn’t know the name Woodstock. Ha! But I was wrong. Turns out Mario and Zachary run a pretty thoughtful discussion. I also like that they have a producer on hand to look up details and fact check in real time. That really lends an air of credibility that I appreciate, and so should everyone else. In this podcast you will get a detailed summary of plot as well as an intelligent back and forth about the quality of the writing, character development, plot holes, significance of developments, thru lines, and themes, as well as some entertaining repartee. If you just want to revel in Peaky Blinders, you’ll get that. If you want something a little more elevated, you’ll get that, too. My only complaint is that Mario has a tendency to try to dominate a bit. Zachary does a good job of standing up for himself, but If they were in one of my classes, we would have sidebar. :) Overall, a substantive and enjoyable podcast.

    Solid
Enjoying listen to these after I watch the episodes for first time. Helps me understand and catches things I missed.
