    More time or less guests
Yes, more time or less guests…I’m sure you’re just as frustrated having to cut them off as we are
  • Dee El See
    Quality Control
Voices of Participants are often so badly distorted by the communications media used that it is impossible to decipher what they are saying. For the listener this makes the whole discussion meaningless. You need to vet each podcast first. Those with severely distorted communication channels should not be aired.

    Too many guests/not enough time
I came to write a review about this issue and saw I’m not the only one thinking this; there are either too many guests, or the podcast episodes need to be longer to allow guests sufficient time to respond to complex issues/questions. I appreciate hearing views that are varied, and having options other than the western MSM, but this podcast is frustrating to listen to and I’m not sure I’ll continue.
  • zohaib rattu
Good guests, good pod but needs to be longer
Yall cut off the guests too early, just make the show a longer form podcast
  • Littleworldcunningly
Crucial content, but please give guests more time!
Previous review (below) stands, but this podcast doesn’t update to show new episodes unless I go to the show and refresh several times. Apple needs to fix this! Giving 5 stars because this is one of the most important sources of analysis and information we have available, but I agree with other comments: please give more time for guests to speak! I’d prefer much longer episodes instead of the constant rushing to get through such important concepts.

    No new episodes
Why are there no new episodes? I hear in other Al Jazeera shows the promo of this show’s new episode, but they don’t show up here on the app. Can someone fix this?
  • Poli Oop
Way better coverage of Israel than in the west
I appreciate aljazeera English for covering things in depth and not blatantly in a pro Israel chokehold like western media is.

    Important voices cut off
I want to hear these voices but it’s super awkward and disrespectful for the host to spend the episodes cutting guest off for time. The host starts interrupting with noises well in advance that are 100% to immersion breaking as a listener that literally causes listener anxiety. The host is asking massively complicated questions and yet seems impatient to end each speakers words so abrasively without sufficient time or respect.

    Bad form.
Its really bad form to tell your guests they dont have time repeatidly. Make the show longer. Have less guests. Its a podcast i dont see why your time is so limited. It makes the listener feel anxious to constantly hear you telling a guest to hurry.

    Episode 675
Hearing BLM guest referring to feeling empathy for the “oppressed” is hypocritical and I’ll informed. Most people of colour living in the West are not indigenous. The Israelites are indigenous to Israel, and 20% Israeli’s are Arab. Furthermore, many Jews in Israel are ppl of colour. It’s apparent your guests are ill informed on the history of Israel and it’s many conflicts. Thus, this biased podcast is not only disappointing, it’s propaganda.

    Fewer guests
It would probably be better to have fewer guests and give them more time to explicate. This is better than cutting them off. But good to see more balanced perspective than what we’re getting here in America.

    Cutting guests short while explaining
Either you make it a longer episode or cut the number of guests you have on. Also don’t bring on Israeli talking heads that promote Israeli propaganda with no evidence. Enough that the west propaganda repeats their lies.
  • fightthespoons
The host seems to have zero interest in what the guests are saying.
I’ve noticed this for a bit now, but it was especially apparent on your 12/6 episode. As soon as the guests started getting into anything substantial, the host cuts them off. It’s almost like he’s afraid to let them speak too much. Not a good look at all

Truth and actual journalism, and No Fake News like US Media
I found Aljazeera is the only media in the world now broadcast truth without faking it. True journalism is there. I avoid watching US media, CNN, MSNBC and Specifically fake news channel Fox.
  • JJJJJ in LA
    Very One Sided
This shown is nothing more than one-sided anti-Israeli propaganda show. The panel is never balanced and often comes to conclusions that are not shared to by more neutral commentators. Most telling is that the owners of Al Jezerra are financial backers of Hamas.

    Even the titles scream propaganda
One sided journalism when it comes to the Middle East.

    Let the guests speak!
Half the episode is the host butting in to cut off his guests: ”Eh-hem”, “Uh, excuse me”. What’s the point of having three guests if you don’t give them time to speak? Either trim the list of guests or go long form. This format is grating to the listener.

    Practice what you preach
Your invited guests would all say Xi is being surrounded by yes men. I wonder if you are only selecting yes men among your guests to get your points of view across? Is it possible to be more inclusive? More differring view points?

Episode 361: Why are raids increasing in Israel-Palestine
So good to hear your guests speak truth to power! Beth Miller - Political Director at Jewish Voice for Peace. Khaled Elgindy - Senior Fellow at Middle East Institute. Keep up the great work.
