American Vigilante

365

KC is the American Vigilante - A hugely complex, intelligent, contradictory man who could save your life but end it too. Who leads a group of violent men standing on the blurred line between right and wrong, between revenge and redemption. A man you want on your side when it all falls apart.American Vigilante is true crime, but so much more. It’s saving abducted children, it’s stepping beyond the law. It’s rescue missions, assassination attempts and last-gasp protection. It’s all the stuff you hope never comes to you, until it does.Former BBC Journalist Sam Walker presents this Crowd Network original. She’s been speaking to KC for months and has recorded everything he’s told her. You’ll need to listen to make your own mind up, but you might never be the same again. It’s shocking, inspiring, frightening and thought-provoking. It’ll change how you see the world, and it might change how you move within it.  Everyone thinks they’re safe, until they aren’t. Everyone thinks they know how they’ll react, until the darkness comes.

    Loved
Such a great podcast! Incredibly unique and so interesting, I feel like I know KC after listening to him talk about his life. I don’t agree with a few of his ideologies and beliefs, but at the very center is a good man doing good work with a very big heart~

    American Vigilante
Fabulous podcast! I have sent a link to everyone in my family, except my 85 year old mom (language) I usually dont listen to podcasts with bad language but this one needed some steam let out!! Thank KC for what you and your men do, hopefully there are many more like you out there. I hate that you are needed!! I would LOVE season 2

    I LOVE KC!
Great show. I appreciate his ethics and reasoning. Do I agree with everything he does, probably not….but he seems like a big teddy bear. Looks (or in this case sounds) cuddly but will rip you apart to protect what he needs too.

    First review. Last review
This is the best group of stories I’ve ever heard. Incredible interview, incredible stories. Awesome.

    Compelling
Once I was a few episodes in, I realized KC has to be a bounty Hunter which lends a lot of credibility on his part to what he’s said. I wish there were a lot more people like him doing good works. Sam should stop being so very offended that America has the 2nd Amendment. Criminals shouldn’t be the only ones that have guns. Perhaps Sam would feel more comfortable back in the UK.

    1000% false
I have listened to this twice as of today. It is immensely entertaining and entirely made up. If you listen to the details you can see that it doesn’t add up. The Journalist does a good job warning of the uncertainty but should have come to the conclusion in the end that it is a story, albeit, a good one. What you should takeaway is there are bad people in this world, and hopefully people like KC but this isn’t a true story. Just a good storyteller…

    Incredible!!!
I choose to believe that KC is really what he says he is (mostly bc I know people who are like him) and I LOVE this podcast! It’s far more than entertaining- it’s also educational, emotional, FASCINATING, funny, and, sometimes, heartbreaking. Whether you believe KC’s stories are true or not, you will be on the edge of your seat through every episode!
  • The real pomie
    Action packed
What an amazing story I had to binge the whole thing!

    I love this so much!
This is such an amazing recounting of KC’s stories!! I know some people don’t believe him but I do! I would call him if I ever needed help!! Sam did such a great job with the perfect amount of care and questioning his truths! I would love there to be more!!
  • Tracellen
    Thoroughly entertaining, and somewhat terrifying.
Regardless of whether you end up believing that KC is what he says he is, you won’t be able to avoid being entertained and entranced by his intelligence and ability to tell a story. I actually hope he is real, and I find that slightly terrifying about myself.

    Love it
I love it. I’ve got your 6 anytime KC.

Should be called American Male Fantasies
Utter garbage. Not even entertaining. This guy is such a liar. No Native American would event correct someone and say, “no, I’m an Indian.”
  • Blonde Beth Justice
    KC
I would call this guy in a New York minute if anything ever happened that involved my family. I get what he’s saying. Great podcast.

    What a show
One of the most entertaining compilations of complete balderdash I’ve ever heard. 😂

Started out Fun, Turned Into How Jacked-n-Packin Men Take Care o Business
If a buddy cop movie included scenes where they “bounce a guy’s head off the car” FOR NO REASON…the entire audience is GONE. the senseless violence added as the storyteller got little bursts of serotonin (from the female attention) bored me to pieces and I quit the series. Lying Tip: laugh reflectivity to buy yourself time to come up with “what happened next”. It looks like you’re genuinely lost in the memory. brilliant acting!
  • pmac2325
    How can anyone believe this?
Utter ridiculousness. This guy sounds like someone with a stack of Soldier of Fortune magazines stacked next to his La-z-boy. I can’t believe the producer is enabling this.

    Wrong Genre
This should be filed under the Fiction/Mental Health genres, not True Crime! I would not have listened to it, but if I did, I would still give it a negative review! The fact the one of the reviews actually compared this podcast to Serial is actually offensive! 🤦🏻‍♀️ This is a Brit housewife who moved to the US with her husband, got bored, discovered true-crime podcasts, met a delusional retired/unemployed/mental-asylum-runaway who sounds a lot like Trump, he fed her a load of crap about his imaginary vigilante alter ego which she believed, so she decided to have her own "true crime" podcast. Sam, I'm sorry petal but KC is full poo and you got got. 😂
  • AshleyDeeglee
Truthful or fictitious - highly entertaining.
Look - Sam starts off the podcast by warning the listener that this guy she’s speaking with, KC, could be absolutely full of it. So why are people surprised/rating this low? Sam is fully transparent throughout, letting the listener know it’s in their own discretion as to what they believe - as even Sam isn’t sure this man’s story is true. Do I personally believe KC’s stories? No. But this podcast is extremely well produced and entertaining, whatever your conclusion may be.

    Totally hooked !
I personally can speak to friends who work with members of biker gangs to help rescue girls who have been kidnapped or are being trafficked . Their stories are incredible and true and don’t happen every day but when the cops can’t they can . They are simple people who live in plain view but do amazing things behind the scenes.

    Really good!
Edited to add…I’m back listening for my THIRD time!! One of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to! I’d love to hear more from KC & Sam! It’s so good, I just finished listening to it for the second time! Thank you for bringing such a unique podcast to your listeners :)
  • anniebonneau
    Seriously?
I can’t believe people, including the narrator, think this guy is for real.
  • P.TwoBears
Hours & hours of a guy telling lies
…entertaining from the viewpoint that you don’t often get to hear a sociopathic liar go off for this long in this much detail. There were so many times when Sam blatantly turned away from the opportunity to BUST him on details. And yes, the guy is a sociopath. I figured that out not when he talked about torturing people but when he made up the story that he has a little girl that calls him Papa (& brought himself to tears his own absurd fiction.) Entertaining.

    Great Stuff
    Absolutely stellar!!! Amazing job!

    KC is a liar
He claims he was sick for the first four years of his life and couldn’t drink anything but water and jello? That’s a lie. He says he doesn’t want to talk about his military service because it’s “his business”, but he talks about everything else and cries about his granddaughter and the woman he loved. He’s a liar. He claims he’s a Mexican Comanche Indian but that’s most likely a lie also because he says “everyone here is American” but yet when Sam calls him a Native American he explodes into “I’m an Indian!” next breath he says “everybody who wants to be sorted into these groups are you kidding me?” For sole vain reason he claims he has beat up every single person he’s come against. Police officer who “stopped” his sister, beat him to a pulp, robbers trying to take a bag of money, beat them both. He’s a liar. Unbelievable lies he tells.
  • BeachReadyBody
    Delusional Narcissist or Scripted Fiction
Sam Walker taps into the American obsession with the fictional ex military hero living by his rules. It’s like a delusional Jack Reacher that can’t stop making up stories about himself. The false humility is almost as tiring as the outlandish stories.
  • Torif25
    Terrifying but Mesmerizing
This is the podcast you can’t stop listening to. The tales KC tells are incredible and terrifying. The interviewer, Sam, knows exactly what to say and ask to keep the stories going. I can’t decide if I want to hug KC or call the cops. Definitely a worthwhile listen.

    Great Show
Listening to this a show was captivating. So many emotions and handled so well. Would love to hear more from KC and Sam.

    K C
I love listening to this podcast about American heroes. I prefer a commentator with a southern accent than a British one anyday, but KC does most of the talking. God Bless the Brotherhood of Vigilence!
  • Irg80
Best podcast I have listened to!
I am in tears listening to this. I had horrible things happen to me as a child. Being a victim and knowing there are people in this world like KC is healing to me. God bless you and your team KC! Keep making this world a safer place. Thank you Sam for bringing light to this. You will never know how much this can heal others.

    Amazing FICTION
I’d like to this guy is legit. But, there’s no a snowballs chance in he-double-hockey-sticks would tell all these stories. But, he IS an amazing fiction writer. He’s got a future in Hollywood. I’ll give him that.

Please excuse me while I build a war machine
Holy. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzzttttt. KC is an American hero & a credit to the armed services. His stories are astonishing and I am glad he & his team are in my country.

    The new Serial
This podcast is amazing. They best thing I’ve listened to since Serial. Matter of fact it was better than Serial. KC’s storytelling is amazing. We need more KC’s in this world with his kind honest spirit and integrity. Thank you for sharing your stories.

    A blessing ❤️
Absolutely the best podcast I have heard so far. KC is one in a million. How you were able to get him to talk about his life, I just don’t know. I do know, however, that his stories are true. I’ve seen and lived enough to know it us. All I can say is that I support what he does and we need more people like him. Thank you for bringing us his story.

    Mind BLOWN
I absolutely LOVED listening to this. KC is an American Hero. It’s amazing to know he is out there helping people. At the same time it’s terrifying because of the sick people that are out there. Thank you for bringing us his story. And if he ever needs a place to stay in NY, he can contact me!!

Binged all 12 episodes last night!
Thank you Sam for your diligence, vulnerability and bravery in forming a connection with KC that encouraged him to open up and share some crazy amazing stories… Though at times, it seemed as though we were indulging someone who just wanted to brashly boast and tell fanciful tales, I did find myself believing that he is indeed an American Vigilante… and if I or someone I cared for was ever in need, I wouldn’t hesitate to call in a heartbeat. Big THANKS again to Bob Ruff and his “True Crime Binge” podcast for recommending yet another great podcast!
  • khevans
    Thank you!
In today’s society we are skeptical about everything! Why is it so hard to believe that there are others out there who help those that need help when the law is not! God bless KC and his team and I pray there are others out there cleaning up the trash in our society. God bless and I pray you find a true sole mate.

    🙄
Shame on every person involved in allowing this mentally ill boomer to have a platform for this circle jerk of masturbatory fantasies and lies.
  • Mokeyt3/35
    Amazing!
    Just started listening. Love it!
  • Lsytcl
    Who cares if it’s true?
Good if it’s only entertainment, great if it’s true. Although, if KC inspires a bunch of amoral idiots to become vigilantes we’ll probably see more convictions like the guy in alaska who got 20 years for vigilante justice. Great podcast
  • MattAZ84
    Great podcast
Whether it is true or not I would like to believe there are true Americans that stand for what they believe inane what is right! I would hope and pray that we do have many Americans that do what is right and appreciate all those whom have served in our military. Thank you for your service!
  • Someonisout
    Uh, ok
. I listened and was hooked! The cringe i felt after listening to the first episode. That cringe of KNOWING there were 11 more of these stories! I would totally believe this if it were Chuck Norris and Batman.

    Wow So Intense
that was the most intense podcast I’ve ever listen to in my life. I believe KC, he is a man that wants to protect anybody that he can. He haTes evil and believes it is his job to stamp it out.

KC is my hero!! It makes me feel safe to know he’s out there! He’s so humble❤️👏🏻🙏🏼
  • Tamg88
    jeez
First, Sam does an incredible job interviewing KC. She is kind, thoughtful, but also challenging in the way that she needs to be for the series to be so meaningful. KC is a wonderful story teller and, even if you disagree with him on things, you can tell he has a massive heart. The podcast evokes many complex and contradicting feelings, I’m sad it’s over.
  • Dragging 63
    Fiction, nothing more.
He reminds me of a extended member of mine. Telling war stories about Vietnam. At first it sounds a little plausible. Then you realize he graduated high school in 1977.
  • matthewhue
    I wanted to believe
I’m 4 episodes in and I don’t believe one word this guy is saying. Like it’s even hard for me to believe he was in the military or if he actually went to the police academy. Let alone the fact that this guy saves kidnapped children. Wanted to like this, but my disappointment is unmeasurable and my day is ruined.
