Julia PlummerGreat storiesI love the variety of stories, people and locations share on this podcast. Very informative and interesting content. Update: I’d also happily get a Life List Have you seen the Eagle? shirt.

FagelNordFun and EducationalAll the host are super knowledgeable, and talk about their wonderful birding experiences. This podcast has a good balance of east and west coast birding that most mainstream birding media lacks. Keep up the great work guys.

thgfuggjvhjBest Podcast Of All Time! Will you talk about best spots in cape may to go birding

LewisbholmesExcellent podcast!Look forward to each episode, the banter and reflections about their birding, lives, trips and plans as well as current topics. George, Alvaro and Mollee provide relaxed but engaging podcasts that give me new insights into birding and travel. Particularly enjoyed the 3 episodes about the trip to Antarctica.

MattSC68Expert Birders, but that’s it.The hosts of this show really know their stuff that is for sure. But, that’s where it ends. I really wanted to like this podcast as I love birding and learning but there is no real structure to the episodes and the personality of Alvaro especially is awful. He is one of the three contributors and comes across as a pessimistic know it all. George, the primary host, is brilliant but dull as an old knife; you can tell when he is excited because he says “nice” repeatedly. Mollee Brown, the third contributor, on the other hand is wonderful. Her wit and bubbly personality carry the show when she is on; sadly she is not on all episodes. The guests that are on the podcast are very good for sure and again, the male hosts are geniuses in their field. But so were my professors in college and nobody wanted to hear them chit chat.

slow adventureBeyond Birding!Love listening to these very knowledgeable and funny experts and their interesting guests. In addition to the bird discussions you’ll get cultural, epicurean, historical, and geographical tidbits. Love it!

NatureNerd13Fun Bird PodcastThis has become one of my favorite podcasts. I started listening recently after attending a Zoom birding class with Alvaro. I enjoy listening to these 2 experts talk (banter). They make it fun & easy to listen to. I’m a beginner birder & appreciate them explaining facts about birds. One lives on the west coast, the other on the east coast & they cover topics about birds all over the world. Looking forward to catching up on all the episodes! Well done, guys.

El Barto9Incredible birders shooting the breezeThis is a fantastic podcast where you get to eavesdrop on some fantastic birders having birding conversations. The show is always entertaining, often very funny, and packed full of nuggets of wisdom and insight.

Vi JulesTop Tier Birders with causally brilliant conversationsI definitely would love to meet and go birding with the members of this team. You can tell they’re all such great people and are expert birders who love to share their knowledge and teach during the episodes. Their passion for birding and nature, and years of travel experience sets the tone for very entertaining episodes.

EdPullenEd Pullen of The Bird Banter Podcast.Loving your show. You all have such a depth of experience and experiences. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the mention of our episode George. I now need to talk with Molly for a Life List Podcast hat trick.

R BruTrying to change Alvaro’s mindFun show to listen to, a more informed version of the kind of conversations I have with my birding friends. But seriously Alvaro, how can you not agree with George about county listing? You said for itself a jaeger a mile away spotted with your scope from your yard counts for your yard list. Why doesn’t George’s whistling ducks count for his County list when he spotted them from Philly?

PDX BillÓrale BirdingIt’s like post birding with friends over beers but your friends are experts! Love the rapport between George and Alvaro. Got this 50 something back in the game having lost touch with the interest I had as a youth. Keep up the great stuff!

jellymillronGreat podcast for beginner birdersI’m new to birding and Life List has been an important part of my education/inspiration/motivation. I love the way George, Alvaro, and Mollee share detailed information with humor and joy, and how they advocate for birding wherever happen to be - makes it feel like a much more accessible hobby than I ever thought it was! I’m only a little disappointed with George’s take on tomato pie :)

Deeka2012So much fun with birds and (mammals)Really smart and funny conversation about birds

dvdfucgfjydjtBird Geeking At Its FinestWhat birder doesn’t love geeking out on topics like avian vagrancy, big days, patch birding, travel and “the spark”? This podcast inspires lots of subsequent thoughts and conversations, the true mark of a great one. Heck your off-hand discussion on Malcolm Gladwell during an episode may even make me willing to give that smug oversimplifying author another try!

CeceD.Episode 19Keep giving a shoutout to Icterids! They are a constant source of entertainment for me and my family at our platform bird feeder. Their postures and behavior, as well as interactions with other birds is worth watching.
-
redrhubarbBest birder podcast!Birding “…is like seeing old friends but learning new things about them.” Yes! I love the casual conversation of kindred spirits about one of my favorite topics! *adds Churchill, Manitoba to travel list*

LMP34Thanks for sharing your hearing loss storyI’m giving this podcast five stars as a thank you to Alvaro for sharing his hearing loss story. I’m a woman birder in my early 40s, been birding for 20+ years, and I recently lost my hearing in one ear in a similar experience to Alvaro’s. Your story gave me hope, comfort, and inspiration. Thank you!

PNW BirderDelightful Birding Podcast!!I’ve been birding since I was a pre-teen and listening to these guys talk about birds has rekindled my love for watching birds after many years of not going out often enough. I love that their banter and even the digressions are filled with interesting tidbits of knowledge about a subject that they clearly love. Every time I listen to an episode, I find myself adding another item to my bucket-list. If you like watching birds and listening to podcasts, this show is a must listen! Thanks for a really enjoyable show can’t wait to listen to the next episode.

nw_birderHighly entertainingIt’s great fun to hang out with Alvaro, George, and Molly. They have good chemistry and offer expert perspectives on all things bird related. It feels is if the listener is sharing a booth at a favorite brew pub with good friends. Highly recommended.
