    Lovely and Inviting!
    Listening to Suzy and Nicola always leaves me smiling. What a lovely way to spend time with two delightful, knowledgeable and inspiring women! I learn about new fragrances while letting my creativity flourish— their evocative descriptions always have me dreaming and “painting” scenes in my head, imagining people and places as their narrative unfolds.     I absolutely love this podcast!! Not only do I learn so many exciting and insightful things about perfume… I also always feel in a happier mood after listening to an episode.     Fabulous Podcast!
    I love this podcast. It’s happy, introduces new brands which I would never hear about otherwise. All ranges of prices so there’s something for everyone. Lovely stories and happiness all round.

    Listening but wish there were changes
    Editing thus review after listening to more episodes—— I discovered this podcast recently and was generally enjoying it considering there are not many fragrance podcasts out there. Suzy is excellent to listen to - knowledgeable, funny, intelligent. Nicola is a bit insufferable - silly commentary, tendency to derail, simplistic take (generally jumping to sexualizing nearly every scent). Nicola also has a tendency to say comments steeped in stereotyping of other countries and cultures. Her comments on the episode covering Penhaligons Cairo are especially embarrassing and cringey for her as it indicates her small world view. Suzy on the other hand is great to listen to.

    High Marks
    I discovered this podcast a little over a year ago, and it has opened a door to a world that I hadn’t known existed. Aside from being a true pleasure in my life, listening to the podcast inspired me, as an English and Composition instructor at a nearby university, to open the same door for my students. I re-conceptualized an entire course to focus on scent and fragrance. The results and response have thus far been absolutely astounding. I am witnessing an uncommon level of creativity, engagement, and enthusiasm in my students’ writing. Thank you Nicola and Suzy for being MY teachers and for helping me to find something beautiful and worth considering.

    A brilliant partnership
    A brilliant partnership in this podcast duo that, while informative and frequently heart-warming, also leaves the listener feeling a little conspiratorial … as if you one of the girls, chatting, laughing, sharing and maybe being just a shade naughty.

    Listening to the podcast is a highlight in my week. Nicola and Suzy are funny and knowledgeable. The show is really entertaining and at times quite moving. Like spending time with good friends.

    Listening to Suzy and Nicola is without a doubt one of the highlights of my week. I have learned and laughed so much, and they have an amazing knack for building community, inviting their listeners into their emotional lives and giving us all permission to connect with fragrances on fun and frivolous as well as deep and meaningful levels.     A favorite (with a caveat)
    I love this podcast, and have learned so much. I enjoy the fun chatty vibe, tho lately have to admit that I’m increasingly put off by some of the dynamic. Mainly, it comes down to Nicola’s tendency to derail, waste time on off topic tangents, and despite the frequent guffawing it’s not in a witty way. This basically eats up a lot of time in which I’d rather hear from Susie, to be frank. Still a faithful listener but just having to ask myself if I’m in the right mood before hitting Play these days.

    I love the podcast and I found it when I was trying to get more fragrance knowledge. I love the interviews, prescriptions and reviews of new products. With that being said I just find myself fast forwarding through the parts that don’t relate to fragrance, I.e. squirrel talk, children, I.e. Other than that, it’s a great podcast and I love the content.

    Uplifting, Accessible, and absolutely Brilliant!!
    There is nothing more enticing than listening to someone speak about something they love - and Suzy and Nicola bring all the passion and knowledge in On the Scent! Nicola is infectious in her excitement and curiosity about fragrance. Suzy’s descriptions are so vivid that one can almost smell as you listen. Informative, entertaining, a moment of uncomplicated and luscious joy!!

    Favorite Fragrance Podcast
    Words (at least mine, Suzy and Nicola could say it better I’m sure) can’t express how much I love this podcast! Suzy is a wealth of information on all things fragrant, from the more obvious topics of perfumes, candles, and other scented items down to obscure historical information regarding perfumery and the science used in creating the various products we love to sniff. I’ve learned so much listening to her, and it’s a pleasure hearing her gorgeous voice poetically describe perfumes and drop mind-blowing fragrance factoids every week. Nicola is an effervescent, bubbly wit of a woman and she always makes me laugh-I’ve felt like I’ve grown in my fragrance journey along with her! She also has a very lovely voice that I look forward to hearing each episode. Together, Nicola and Suzy deliver a beautiful podcast that is always equal parts silly, educational, and real- it’s not always just about the smell of things, there’s a lot of life here too. To top it all off, the podcast is always FUN and a complete pleasure to listen to. Congrats ladies, and keep them coming!!
