cloverestelleNote to Self >>>Literally owe this pod so much gratitude, I love this message and energy:)
-
erinc__Go to!I love Payton’s podcast. It feels like sitting down with a friend and is a place I turn to feel understood and less alone going through life things. Thank you for being you and doing this for your audience!!
-
WeezieLucille89Ok but she talks about herself too muchPodcast is good but she doesn’t let the guest talk enough and she turns it back into her and her experience and it’s annoying. Also omg the ads and product pushing is more than call her daddy the biggest female podcast which makes no sense you don’t need that many ads
-
fancygalmeImmediate NTS fanFound Note to Self from a tiktok rec and haven’t stopped looking forward to listening since!
-
maddy9933My absolute favorite podcast!I cannot recommend Payton’s podcast enough! I’ve been following her since her blogging days and listen to every episode every week. The topics are always SO on point, and has something for everyone - career girlies, relationships, mental health, etc. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
-
Sydney Sampson-WebbNote to PaytonOne of my favorite podcasts to listen to!

mis uniMerry ChristmasI have all the chapters and I am allowed to read the 20th one before the 19th

kharris294too much shillingI am a big fan of Payton but for the love of god… no more reading off lists of products to buy!!! This is stale, boring, and I don’t believe that the rampant consumerism is in line with NTS’s values. I have honestly stopped listening because these episodes are way too frequent and I’m tired of being told new stuff I need to buy or beauty services I just HAVE to have. I think if you’re a pod that already has ad space, you have no business putting out episodes with even more product recs. I hope this makes sense and I don’t want it to be perceived as too critical or unkind. We are all just bored of the endless shilling of products and wondering if the space is just too saturated and podcasters have nothing left to say. Its lazy and unappealing. I will always love P and keep up with her elsewhere but I will not continue to listen if this doesn’t change. Tell me about books and music you like, tell me about a recipe you tried, but stop telling me about products!!!! PLEASE! I am unfollowing but open to coming back if there’s a change.
-
lennysreviewLove the pod pls stop the product pushingI love and am a long term listener to note to self! The pod has provided so much perspective. With their said, I have had to skip a few episodes the last 6 months due to all the product pushing. The over-consumption feels gross.
-
MYNAMEISVALDAMBFeedback 🤍I am a huge fan but noticed that when she has guest speakers, it becomes a conversation about P and her life. In her last episode with Ally, I learned nothing about the host, I barely got to hear her perspective. It was all about her and Joe. Perhaps focus more on the guests than talking so much about yourself so much. Still love you! Xoxoxo
-
seewadeLegit honest real funLove listening for all the truth. Shares her life with intention and is not afraid. Inspirational self love!
-
The 🐶 that wears 💄Unfollowed showThis is super sad for me because I used to RELIGIOUSLY follow P’s content and binge her podcasts. Lately, however, she’s been so out of touch. I don’t find myself relating to her, her podcasts are centered around ads now, etc. the big sister advice I used to love getting is no more. This was my favorite podcast, but not anymore.
-
AlligatorkaterLOVE LOVE (minus ads)I absolutely love NTS, it’s one of my favorite podcasts and I look forward to Thursdays because of it. However lately the episodes seem more ad stuffed and the actual content of the episode is short and left unfinished. I understand that ads are necessary!!! I just think the execution/incorporation of ads needs to be re-evaluated and the length of episodes need to be longer to combat the amount of ads.
-
Boooboobear🫶Love the new era for you and think you’re so insightful. One little thing for the BP girls: you can’t really be horizontal and manic. And referring to mania in this way (esp without a diagnosis) is stigmatizing. I know this isn’t your intention and this is all coming from a place of love—just sharing for perspective <3
-
RichardCastro🫶Long time follower since YouTube. Love you and all your content.
-
hannahkloLove this Pod!!I was just introduced to NTS this year… and I’m already loving it so much! P has such refreshing takes on things that I think a lot of women in their 20s/30s face!!
-
court_joyceHypocracyI’ve been a long-time listener of Payton and have always really enjoyed her content because of her relatability. She’s lost me now.. she claims to be inclusive, see all sides, and want to have open conversations about things… false. She goes with the grain. I’d love her to bring on a guest that has differing thoughts and opinions from her and have them have a true, honest debate on their beliefs. I’d love to hear her speak from facts and not emotions. Because the way I see it, she’s conformed to appease a specific audience. Bring back real girl content.
-
Lucy M.PLove ❤️I love how you feel like you are in the room having a conversation with Payton. She has such a warm, uplifting energy and I look forward to her episodes every week. Great topics and great guests ❤️

-
nicoleclaire88SO MANY ADSconstantly fast forwarding through the ads and then I look and the episode is practically over. Annoying
-

GabiPietkiewiczFavorite podcastThis is my favorite podcast on Dear Media! She is so real and authentic and herself. Love love love
-
quartz skincareLove note to self!Payton is cool, calm, and collected. I like the personal development aspect of this podcast and her take on style/trends. I enjoy the guests as well. Her originality is very refreshing
-
xomadroseLove NTSThe first podcast I go to each week when a new episode is released. LOVE Payton & all of her content, but NTS especially.
-
Levi’sWife🎀💄🐽Unfollowed after she made her abort!on sound as simple as a haircutThis can be a traumatizing experience that disrupts your hormones and at the end of the day a life is lost. Her genuine perspective is appreciated but it’s a serious decision and she dropped the ball on handling this subject, even from a prochoice perspective. Her podcast gives “selfish airhead who thinks she’s smart and throws around words like ‘healing’ and ‘manifestation’”
-
lauramulhern_FavoriteI love this podcast but the most recent episode (about mentally struggling) is the first time I’ve heard anyone put in to words how I’ve always felt. Payton is so raw and real. Thank you for this!!
-
sweettartsarahLove Payton!Love all the topics, love listening to her as I do chores around the house, feels like I’m listening to a best friend talk. First podcast I throughly listen to! Always entertaining Payton! ☺️
-
KimmyJ56789Ads GaloreThe entire episode is ads. I’m 20 minutes into the episode and I don’t think there has been one piece of content.
-
sxdinaAds really take me out of itI feel like the ads are about half the podcast time now? It’s gotten to the point where I hit the second wave and I’m totally taken out of the topic of the episode.
-
FrancescaLanzaLove!!A weekly listen since 2022 recommended by my best friend and couldn’t be more grateful. I feel like Payton gets me and I love how she’s confident in herself and her perception/beliefs and doesn’t try to create content that everyone else does. She’s authentic and feel like I can relate to most of her episodes. I love that she shares her experiences and answers Ask P questions thoughtfully and have taken good tips from her. Highly recommend!
-
Mrs. AmayaSnooze & eye rollI downloaded the 2024 vision episode after finding it on a top 14 must listen list. Whew, what a bad call. The first 10 minutes were completely unnecessary & listening to her complain about the holidays & not being a “birthday girlie” made me want to stab my eardrums. Once she started talking about searching Pinterest for images for her vision board, I had to just stop listening. Maybe I am the wrong demographic or something but this was not my cup of tea at all.
-
krayfishy123ObsessedJust discovered this pod & can’t stop listening. Payton is so motivating but also hilarious and real. I live in a different city than most of my girlfriends & listening to this literally feels like having a (albeit one sided) convo with my best gal pals!
-
SarahLS1994👍🏼This is such a great podcast. Great conversation. I do feel the host does not let the speakers talk as much, when sometimes we’d like to hear more from the guests. But overall great pod for all things health, career and relationships.
-
Caitie2795Great PodcastI like how genuine and real Payton is. I actually learn from her & have good takeaways from listening. She doesn’t have the basic “morning routine” fluff and brings cool new things to talk about. I love her tik tok recommendations too.
-
Marcy HrLove itPayton rocks! So down to earth and always a good listen.
-
Holler5088Much needed girl talkI’ve been listening to the show since summer and it has really helped me feel less alone! I work from home, have a lot of long distance friends, and my girlfriends in close proximity to me are settling down and having kids which I love that for them but it’s not where I’m at. I love tuning into Note to Self every week because it really feels like I’m chilling hanging out with my girlfriends getting the scoop on what’s in what’s out and also with the added gentle reminders that a good friend would give you. I love how calming Payton’s voice sounds even if she’s often anxious, she def has a calming effect on me.
-
Julia_varricchioLOVELove this pod and Payton. She is so grounding, calming and humbling while also being inspiring and motivating. Have to listen to this religiously or my week is not complete.
-
meganjamesnycLook forward to it every week!I’ve been listening to this podcast for awhile now and have become a huge fan. Payton shares a lot of relatable and interesting topics, is authentic, has boss girl energy that is so inspiring and always has great guest speakers. It feel like you’re getting weekly advice, tips & reccs from a girlfriend. Looking forward to the growth of the podcast. Thank you Payton!🫶🏻✨
-
HalJoyMart10/10, she slaysAlways obsessed with the realism, honesty, and nuance to payton. This pod is ok with the girls born inherently honest, and have to work a little lot harder to be nicer. Still a vibe for the nice-nice girls though.
-
claireellieRecommend to all the girlies!Love this pod!! Payton has the ability to relieve some of my anxieties, especially surrounding timelines, societal expectations etc. Her perspective on life is refreshing and reviving
-
EButts2018Awesome PodThis is by far the most chill podcaster. She is super laid back and that makes this podcast such an easy listen and it’s so fun. Give her a listen! Especially the ask P episodes!!
-
alyesp123loveshe is relatable and fun
