I’m sure had some good information to share but most of what I heard was garbled and broken up.

I’ve been performing prescribed burns on our farm since 2004. The information in this podcast is research based and has given me the answers to taking the habitat to the next level. Always worth listening to. Bringing in other experts and experience in on the podcast is also educational. Keep up with sharing the findings! In 2022 on our farm implemented small unit burns 1-4 acres in size in every month since March. The results are note worthy.

Very informative and entertaining

As a wildlife biologist that manages a large tract of public land these podcasts Serves as a great tool to help with management decisions. It keeps us abreast of new and proven techniques that may help us improve our management strategy.

I have heard Dr. Lashley on other podcasts discussing the use of prescribed fire to improve wildlife habitat, mainly turkeys. This podcast is very interesting and informative in the historical use of fire and its current uses for wildlife habitat as well as grassland grazing.

The Fire University series does an exceptional job of conveying current state of scientific knowledge in a manner that is easily understood and converted to “on the ground” actions. Highly recommend for anyone interested in land management.

The information from this podcast pertains to people who have never done a prescribed burn to people with lots of prescribed burn experience.

Great show! Wonderful to listen too, I’d love to hear more of a history on fire on this continent. Native Americans and there relationship with fire. And how they co existed in the landscape shaped by fire in those pre European centuries
