I found Shana on IG and both her account, full of super important information that I never would have received from my doctor plus her Low Insulin Academy program have been helping me immensely. I still have a long way to go but her podcast are such a great learning tool and I’m pleased to be one of her students!

A Wealth of Good Health Info
I discovered Shanah when I started intermittent fasting last year and through that season, she helped me find answers to the health challenges I’ve faced in my life in the past few decades! I am so excited about her new teaching on Cortisol and Circadian rhythms. Based on what she’s revealed so far on her podcast, I think that issue might be the missing piece to solve my most pressing health struggles right now. Highly recommend !

    Reversing insulin resistant
Lots of great info here! Shana really gets to the nitty gritty stuff when it comes to getting healthier because the overly simplistic advice of just eat less and move more didn’t sustain longterm for me. She does a good job explaining why and teaches a better strategy. Highly recommend her stuff.

    Great Podcast
I listen to many podcasts, however, I find Shana discusses information that I haven’t heard anywhere else particularly tips and strategies for tackling insulin resistance. She offers the whole package rather than just bits and pieces of information.

    Great info
Shana is spot on for her knowledge of intermittent fasting and high healthy fat, low carb diet. Thank you for being so transparent and helping get the word out about metabolic damage and how to eat healthy. It still so amazing that so much misinformation is supported by the government and the dietary guidelines. Thank you

    Thank you-it is working!
I have been trying to lose abdominal fat for ten years. Intermittent fasting stopped the weight gain but then I hit a plateau. Your very direct teaching style has helped me understand that for me, it is going to take monitoring-modifying many more areas of my life, specifically getting adequate protein, sleep, and stress management. I have less fatigue, reduced cravings, and I have had to relinquish my demands of food to make me happy, help me celebrate, or as a mood management tool. I listen to certain episodes repeatedly to maintain focus and motivation. Thank you for being so highly motivated to learn, knowledgeable, and willing to educate the public.

    Excited!
I stumbled upon Shana’s podcast this morning, during one of my longer fasts, trying to figure out what foods I should be eating during my cycles to avoid the weight gain I’m experiencing. I’m going to try following her model and eat more protein and change my intermittent fasting window after my reset. Also never thought to test my fasting insulin! Thank you for this inspiration, looking forward to listening to more episodes.

Shana is very informative about insulin resistance and fasting. She explains things going on with our bodies in an easy way to understand. I’ve learned a lot of information to help with my fasting and how to manage my hunger by trying to eat more protein and lower carbs. So glad I found her podcast!

    Game changer
Shana’s guidance and principles have truly been a game changer for me. Although I do believe I have struggled with insulin resistance/blood sugar issues my whole life, my weight gain did not not happen until after I turned 40. For someone who has been thin my entire life, I couldn’t understand WHY I could now not seem to lose weight around my middle. Now I know the why behind it…because I had been trying to follow the conventional dietary advice while hitting midlife and fluctuating hormones. I have gradually implemented low carb, more protein/Whole Foods and fasting as tolerated. I am FINALLY losing the middle section and understand the science behind it. I appreciate Shana’s courage to go rogue and help so many midlife women in the process!

    Finally Someone Who makes sense!
Diagnosed diabetic at 41. I was put on pills and given a sheet with food suggestions. Regular diabetic checkups every 3-4 months over the last 18 years. Currently been doing low carb and toyed with IF before. I Found Shana on Instagram, bought the book, now I’m into her podcasts… starting 4th week of IF (16-8) again without feeling hungry this time. My blood sugar is frequently hitting lows in the 70s and 80s lower to the point I want to wean off my meds to see if I can manage without them, talked to my Doctor and she said I’m on the lowest dosages but was provided no plan going forward. Shana has tied together things I had tried but couldn’t get to work continuously. Thanks to Shana, I now understand better what has been submarining my efforts. Me and my meal timing. I wasn’t giving my body the time or fighting chance to heal. I better understand IF as a healing tool. Thank you Shana! I fully recommend that you get the book and listen to her podcasts.

    Thought provoking!
Never thought about food this way and how the body is designed to process what we eat! I’ve tried lots of diets and failed. Listening to podcasts & reading Shana’s book has been helpful. I’m early in the program but am certain I can heal from the inside out and in time achieve weight loss as an added bonus :)
