BriannaHanselmanOne of my favorites!I just found your podcast and I’ve been binge listening to it. I love the little history lessons given at the beginning! I live in south Texas and love hiking but it’s not the same. I love hearing about other places to ad to my bucket list of hikes!

QuakefanThis podcast is great! This podcast gives a realistic summary of many hiking trails, some popular but also many uncrowded and lesser known. I love that the discussion covers the best parts of a trail but also gives details of difficult parts. It covers the hike, views, camping sites, wildlife encounters, water sources, all the important stuff! I’m binging all the episodes now. Thanks for a great podcast!

clay.my.names.not.ryanWarning: Your Bucket List Will Get LongerFantastic resource to introduce you to hiking trails both familiar and ones you wouldn’t discover on your own otherwise. Love the mix of both traditional backpacking routes as well as trekking routes (both domestic and international) of a hut-to-hut or similar flavor. The host and guests are engaging and will feel like your friendly trail companions through each episode. You are sure to discover new compelling regions and trails and add to your list of hikes to check out!

ViejitaBurqueñaThoroughly enjoyableIntelligent, sincere, calmly enthusiastic—this podcast is good for whetting the appetite to get out and hike, for escaping into thoughts about traveling to places near and far and learning the earth with your feet. I’ve listened to 4 episodes since discovering it a couple of weeks ago, and look forward to more.

BerrivasAuthentically good info and storiesThis is my favorite hiking podcast. I appreciate the history and context shared along with the experience of long trails, as well as practical information for people who want to hike. Jeremy seems to be doing this out of a genuine love and enthusiasm for the outdoors, and is not trying to be an "influencer" nor does he engage in the tiresome, pointless banter I have heard on so many other hiking podcasts. Jeremy, I am so grateful to you for this excellent quality podcast! I look forward one day to writing to you about my experience on a trail I learned about through your podcast. Thank you for your diligence, dedication and inspiration!

AutjorSouth Warner WildernessLove the show! I was pleasantly surprised to hear the mini on the Warner Mountains. I hiked to Patterson via the Pine Creek trail a few years ago. What a beautiful and secluded wilderness.

kerryberryquiltI really enjoy the show! There are some really great guests and episodes in this podcast. I like the new feature of “mini” trips and am looking forward to more of those. My favorite episodes have been for the places I’ve never even thought of going, like the Superior Hiking Trail, the Uinta Highline Trail, and the Via Transilvanica.

Dr NebzIf you are a backpacker you’ll love this podcast!I discovered this podcast while driving to the Ruby Mountains to do the Ruby Crest Trail. It was very informative, educational, and entertaining to hear him and his guests discuss, from a hiking boot on the ground perspective, what these trails will be like if you visit them. Day 3 on the RCT I carried the recommended amount of water and it was perfect! I’ve enjoyed many episodes on here. Definitely recommend this show!

Friday Girl 714Well presentedThis is one of my favorite hiking/outdoors podcasts. It’s well-presented and informative. I get something from every episode, even if it’s a trail I have no plans to visit. Guests are interesting, and there’s a wide variety of trails discussed, covering all skill levels and trip length. The episodes on the HST are my favorite.

salutjenniferLove every episodeThank you Jeremy for creating this podcast! Hiking has been a source of comfort for me during the pandemic, and these episodes help me stay connected to the trail when I can’t be on it. So excited to try some of these myself in 2022.

Steven GallegosClouds RestExcellent podcast Jeremy, I’m planning to hike clouds rest with a good friend of mine soon. We’ll be doing the 7 mile route to the summit through Tanaya Lake I believe. I’m 50, started hiking during Covid and I’m very excited. Tried to get Half Dome permits and failed, but I figured this might be better to start. My wife was a little apprehensive about me going up the cables so I’m glad you were forthright about that in podcast. Your son and daughter seem great, what a blessing to share that experience with them. Gave you a 5 star rating thank you! - Steve @galleg000s on Twitter
