    Needs
Love being able to get my dose of nerd content. I like the deep dives on the builds and the industry people that are sometimes at the forefront and big names and some other lesser known people. Excellent car content for any one in the sundae cup community.

Since I started listening to Hypercritical
Utilizing the knowledge provided by the Pro Awesome crew on their podcast and website, along with some of their terrific parts offerings, I have dropped a scientifically repeatable and measurable amount of time off my PB’s. This is after only 6 months of listening! I look forward to a year from now to the amazing transformation that will have occurred! I’ve even started applying Hypercritical techniques to other areas of my life. I no longer stand by quietly when coworkers offer their opinions. I take a cue from Mike and force them to listen to my long winded retorts! Seriously though, great podcast for individuals that enjoy race cars, time trials, and track driving. Keep up the great work!

    Love the podcast!
As an Eco owner I don’t need too much convincing. Great content here! I had two questions about the last episode 1) If the record is all that matters, doesn’t that make a lot of events / a lot of the sessions useless? Like any weather above 80 degrees, any events in the peak of summer, etc. Cars are certainly going to get faster over time but after watching one of the recent Gears and Gasoline episodes, it sounds like unless you happen to nail a time in one of only a few sessions, records are a lot less likely to be broken. 2) JDM time attack cars - I’ve watched a ton of Best Motoring / Hot Version stuff over the years. Do you have any idea why they don’t use European shocks, like, ever? Ohlins, AST, KW, Moton, Koni, etc. I’m watching a relatively recent touge thing here and even on the BMW M2 they’re using some Nitron shocks (??). That’s it - thank you for the show!

    Racing discussion heaven
You know those rare times when you end up around the right people at the right time, and you can listen to some incredible banter between a group of people far smarter than you talking about something you love? The conversations that answer questions you didn’t know you had, and leave you in awe of the raw knowledge being kicked around like it’s nothing? Well, if you like racing, this is the podcast for you. Chock full of information and discussion, with plenty of insider views, and a banter that will make the time fly by. Definitely worth checking out, one episode and you’ll be hooked.

Like a “bench racing” discussion with your buddies...
All of the disputes over build plans, “if this-then that”, and over-analyzing “theoretical class killers”... it’s just like arguing with my buddies; except, I’m at work because my wife says living at the track is unrealistic 🤷‍♂️ A LOT of nuggets of prep/setup information, some of its even useful!

    Love it!
Love listening to all the perspectives and knowledge sharing. I often disagree with Mike's views of the non-sciences (re: marketing) and I worry about how worked up he gets, but You should definitely keep'em coming. ✌️

    Awesome & Excellent!
Just listened to the “Nads” and “RPM Act” episodes and loved them! Lots of great info and Mike’s ranting about RPM act and sponsorships wasn’t a rant because it was truth

If you know what time attack is, you better listen to this.
A little bit of ranting, a little bit of joking around, a lot of good content and smart-ish people talking cars. Great if you are familiar with HPDE and time attack. Always good to listen to.

Time attack and DE drivers say hello to your podcast. This podcast is like no other automotive/ racing podcast I’ve listened to. Great technical content as well as original insight.

    Really enjoy these podcasts
So many car podcasts are repetitive and superficial. These guys actually talk substance in an honest and direct way. Great for the hardcore track enthusiast at any level.
