This may be my new favorite crime podcast! The two hosts are funny without being Irritating. Their voices are very easy to listen to, and they don’t have an obnoxious laugh. I could go on, but give it a listen. I think they are great!

Begin to even…. Describe how much I love this podcast. I am a true crime junky. Seriously- and even though I know of many of the stories there is always a new nugget of info I learn. However, they do find some I haven’t heard of…. so good on them 😂. Also listening to the two of them is hysterical. Reminds me of my bestie and our shenanigans! It makes my Wednesday every week. 🥰

It's like listening to someone go on and on without getting to the point an hour and a half later. I find myself changing podcast an hour through because it's just dragging....

My favorite true crime pod!Jessie’s vocabulary and intelligence shines and it feeds my soul. A few other podcast people I like tend to mispronounce words often but not Jessie! She’s clearly well traveled and full of knowledge and is a great story teller. Andie is adorable and their back and forth is awesome… They make you want to have a beer with them. I love the premise of the show and the stories are told flawlessly. Great work ladies!

Hands down, this is one of best true crime podcasts. Jessie & Andie really take a deep dive into these cases, and do their research. Very informative, while also being entertaining and fun. I 100% recommend 🙂

I really love this podcast. They feel like women I would definitely hang out with and are so funny. The research is excellent and I have been bingeing their episodes non stop. Honestly one of the best podcasts. I loved that there was just one long ad in the middle, but this last episode had four disruptive ads and was really alarming. Don't like the new format. But love you guys!

When I need to tune the world out, I tune in to Love Murder. I swear they tap right into my vagus nerve and give it a big reset. :)

My favorite podcast! Well written, informative and interesting! Jessie and Andie are fun to listen to - they talk just the right amount to prep the show… enough to help their audience feel connected to them, but not so much where you feel like saying, “Get on with the show!”

I started listening to Love Murder some years ago as part of a class I teach on Detective Fiction (the class concludes with an independent study unit where True Crime is one option). I researched a number of options in this genre and vetted them…this is the only podcast I ended up subscribing to and I still look forward to it every Wednesday. Highly recommended!

How could you laugh like a baffoon through this whole story? I am all for keeping it lite, but you crossed the line!! Totally distracting. Idiots!

Love Murder is hands down one of the best true crime podcasts out there! Andie and Jessie have an amazing dynamic—engaging, insightful, and just the right amount of humor without ever being disrespectful to the cases they cover. I especially appreciate that they keep small talk to a minimum and get right into the stories, which are always well-researched and compelling. Their storytelling keeps me hooked from start to finish, and I find myself eagerly waiting for each new episode. If you love true crime without unnecessary fluff, this podcast is a must-listen!

Pretty good recounting of each case. However, you guys let off the hook women who make really, REALLY stupid decisions.

Impressive research, superb chemistry, sharp wit and vocab— and sometimes their voices put me to sleep but in a good way ☺️

Ive been listening to a bunch of these since they are more researched than other pods, not well research just more researched. The more I listened I realized they only cover cases of white people. They also chose to speak on everyone’s physically looks in a way that shows they value people based on their looks, even the perpetrators. That was weird and not my style but I let it go because it’s simply not my style. What I couldn’t get past in an episode was one of the hosts kept mentioning how only white people can be unhappy in romantic relationships and lesbians don’t know what that’s like….I reminded twice actually to make sure I was correct. It gave me the impression that maybe they don’t think of gay people as people or have never learned to speak about them with empathy.

Used to really enjoy this show but when I saw they did a tipsy/drunk retelling of a forensic files episode, the podcast moved from a standout to another insensitive TC podcast that seems to forget these are real stories that happen to real people. I was hoping this was a one off but they said they plan to do more in the future. I used to really enjoy this series and am sad to stop listening but drunk/tipsy retellings just feels disrespectful and I am honestly surprised that the often sensitive, empathetic hosts took the podcast in this direction.

I really want to rate this pod higher but the host come across as disingenuous. Midway through the 22 min in to ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’ ep & they go on and on about how fat/body shaming is bad (which it is). Only to make repeated jokes about the guy’s height (something he couldn’t change or choose). Double standards are problematic. Also - just get to the case! Sometimes it seems like the listener is intruding on a personal conversation among friends. I will continue to give this pod a try a few more times bc I really want to like it!
