jtpavGreat podcast!I came here from Just the Zoo of Us, an animal rating podcast. Olivia did an episode with Ellen (the host of just the zoo of us, plus Christian) on episode 79, which is my favorite episode from Just the Zoo of Us. I absolutely love this podcast! The theme song is growing on me. I am so glad I came here! This podcast helps me relax whenever I need, and I love it. Also, for episode 22, I actually have a pet toe biter. My mom does work with them, and her instructor said she could take one home and she did! We named it Fernis (I call it Fernie). We don’t get to touch it, of course, because it will bite us, but we can enjoy it from far away. It was so tiny, now it’s so big! Anyways, I really wanted to share that😅 Ah! These are the animals I would like you to feature: Giraffe weevil, stalk-eyed fly, Chan’s megastick, megaphragma, and lots more that I can’t handle typing. I would like to congratulate these podcasters on an amazing job! Can’t wait to listen more!! I recommend this podcast! Please take a listen😁🤗😉🥳🤩

ACNH gamerLove this pod!I love animal crossing new horizons, and I am always open to hearing interesting facts about any animals/critters. You guys are so funny and smart, and overall very accurate and good podcasters.

CatigailLovelyAs an aspiring entomologist myself, i love this!!! they go into depth about all of the facts about the insects, fish, and fossils in animal crossing. absolutely lovely.
-
Justine377Delightful!This is such a wonderful idea and it’s executed extremely well! I love listening and learning about these animals I’ve been catching since the gamecube era. Truly delightful!

leif.remingtonI love your podcastThis is Leif. You gave me a shout out in your giant snakehead episode. I love your Arapaima episode

KirdaRoseA perfect mix of video games and animals!I heard about this show on another podcast and oh man am I glad I gave Beyond Blathers a listen! I adore the calm fun chats, it’s the perfect thing for my early morning commute. I never realized how much I’d love learning more about bugs and fish until they started to go into detail about them. The hosts enthusiasm rubs off on you to be honest, and I’m so happy for that! <3 11/10 would recomend.

LeCalmarEntertaining and educational!I’m honestly shocked that this podcast doesn’t have more reviews- it’s fantastic! I have never played Animal Crossing and was worried that I would miss things in the podcast, but they use it more as a prompt for the species they cover- so both players and non-players of AC can fully enjoy! The hosts are super well spoken, knowledgeable, and have perfect podcasting voices. 11/10

WFH LilyPerfect for ACNH+the natural world nerds!!I was looking for some new podcasts to listen to in the natural history realm, and I found this one after listening to Ologies one afternoon (another amazing science pod btw). If you love Animal Crossing as much as I do and the virtual world of catching bugs and hunting for fossils then give this a listen! It is truly beyond Blathers bird brains! These ladies grace us with their perspectives on all critters and how staying curious is always so exciting and interesting. Keep it up!

Mence999Delightful and imformativeI absolutely love listening to this podcast. I enjoy the recount of Blathers’ description, as well as the deep dive info about each creature/fossil. Also the conservation efforts and what a listener can do (for instance, I live in a monarch migration path and got good info on how to help our butterflies, looking for my native milkweed to plant!). Hosts voices are soothing as well. Looking forward to more episodes!

HarryFan~AmmiSo sweet and informative! This podcast is a delight. The hosts are engaging, informed, and make you feel like you’re hanging out with your nerdy friends. I really appreciate that they highlight conservation issues with the species they talk about. Animal Crossing Wild World is probably part of why I’m a wildlife biologist now, and I adore that there’s a podcast out there now that goes into more depth than Blathers’ batherings.
-
misslimeThese ladies are marvelousThis is the most adorable podcast that I didn’t know I needed. I love listening to them read what Blathers tells you at the beginning of each episode. Each episode is so entertaining and educational. I can’t wait to see how they evolve this going forward!

Danodamano!Excellent Little ShowSometimes you just need a short and sweet segment between your longer podcasts—and for me, this has become that show. It’s excellent, informative, and fun—and your hosts are adorable for their enthusiasm for the subjects.
