    Outstanding!
I love this podcast. I’m so glad I found something other than music to play while my kids are in the car and I’m learning new facts myself! Keep up the great work! -The James Family

Great to hear the voices of Black children!
I love this podcast and am delighted to have found it. I'm a white woman learning about my white priviledge and how I can contribute more positively. I'm also interested in children's literature (reading it, and writing it) and am always looking for ways to hear Black voices. There are lots of Black podcasts but this is the only one I've found produced by young kids! These kids are awesome, and their parents are as well. I always learn something I didn't know about Black history or culture, and I really appreciate hearing it in terms that kids can understand. One of my favorite parts of the podcast is the "Term of the Day." Thank you to the Ausmer Family for this great content!

    It's Great!
I'm a recent devotee of Hey Black Child and I'm so glad I found the podcast! All the podcasts I listen to are hosted by adults and are not local to my hometown. Imagine my surprise and delight at finding a podcast that can give an idea of what is important to Black youth AND lets me know more about my hometown. Keep up the great work, Avery and Jackson- you're doing wonderful!

    So good!
This podcast is so good on so many levels. Good for kids. Good for adults. Good for people of any color. As a white mom I feel this is as good for my daughter as it is for me. And did I mention it's fun and the kids are adorable? There's that too. Just listen.

    Creative, fun and informative!
I heard about this Podcast on Good Morning Columbus and was excited to check it out. Avery and Jackson are very creative and deliver the information in such fun ways! I’ve learned new information as a white woman in her 30’s, which is great as I’m on an active journey to understand my white privilege, be a part of the movement and take action to dismantle racism. I’ll be sharing this with all the parents I know. Thank you, Ausmer family!

Seven minutes we look forward to
I’m a white parent raising black kids... this podcast is a great way for my kids to be able to learn more of black history and culture, and who better to learn it from than other black kids?! Relevant, factual, and fun. Thanks!
