In love with this podcast! This gets me to rewatch classic romcoms while learning about new ones and hear their opinions. Love the quick facts at the end! Keep it up!

I’ve recently started listening and am enjoying the podcast. I haven’t come across too many husband and wife duos hosting a podcast. It’s fun. Good movie choices also. And don’t worry Devon, I think fly away home was weird too! I saw it as a kid and thought, meh. A movie like that could only have been made in the 90’s. I’m surprised you caused such an uproar on ig over that

Hey Devin I totally agree about hallmark movies having plots that a ten year old could come up with. But try the hallmark mystery movies specifically the “Aurora Teagarden series” I think that both of y’all will enjoy them. I stumbled upon the show a couple of months ago after hoping to find a podcast about romantic films. I have a ton of horror movie podcasts, but I’m also a huge lover of romance/romantic comedies. Devin and Sarah are just absolutely amazing. Their chemistry is fantastic on a Kate Hudson/Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Reynolds/Isla Fisher level. So it’s super fitting they created a rom com podcast together. Just such a warming and happy presence. The films they pick are amazing, and I love how interactive they are with fans. Every epsiode has made my day better by listening. I love their rewatchability scale and it’s refreshing that they don’t let any questionable elements of past films diminish their feelings on the films or diminish their value, while still acknowledging that any said elements didn’t age well. If you love rom coms, please check this podcast out. You won’t regret it.

I just discovered your podcast and am thoroughly enjoying it. You guys are great together. So, Warm Bodies (season 2, episode 3)!! I feel so validated by your assessments of this film. Personally, I was game for it the moment I saw the trailer and upon seeing it, I thought it was so well executed. No one else around me could even fathom the idea of a zombie love story and refused to see it! One thing though - You were so great at pointing out a lot of the visual nuances (the blinking thing for one), but neglected (and then wondered about) a very obvious one. Their hearts!! When R saw Julie, his heart began to beat again. When the zombies saw R protecting Julie and Julie looking to R for safety, they recognized their affection and bang! Their zombie hearts came alive. It was the catalyst to them becoming human again. Anyway, loved the rewind and I am so glad SOMEONE ELSE loves this film. Thanks, Lauren.

Movies are my life basically and RomComs are what I view the most so I was so happy to find this podcast a while pack! These two are so funny, and Devin’s voice sounds JUST like my ex, and I still make sure to never miss an episode each week so that should tell you how good this podcast is! 😂 literally enjoy it so much!

So, as someone who admittedly loves this movie, there were so many things you two got wrong, I honestly wondered if you actually paid attention when you watched. I’ll cover the ones that stuck out the most: First, Joan Kuzack’s character had scoliosis, hence the body and neck brace. (You could have simply looked that up) Secondly, there were only three Baker kids, not four. And finally, Jake didn’t dump his girlfriend for “apparently no reason.” He actually talked about hating how much Carolyn loved to party and had wanted out of the relationship for a while. You deserve to know that I actually like your podcast. Your chemistry, wit and banter is enjoyable. But, if you’re going to review such iconic films, I implore you to check your facts.

What makes this podcast amazing is Devin and Sarah. Their commentary and banter is natural and yet so professional at the same time! I love how concise their show is but it still has so much of their personality and plenty of solid movie fun facts. Keep up the good work and congrats on your nuptials! Bria from @rolecallpod

I think I started randomly following the podcast on IG and decided to give it a listen. I love their recaps, the couple’s witty and sometimes silly banter and their takes on each movie. It is a little ahem, “adult” for me at times and I don’t recommend listening with kids, but it’s great for adults who love to remember fun light-hearted movies. I love the “quick facts” and “best scene” and that sometimes they disagree. It makes it fun and interesting. I honestly can’t wait till each episode come out and finding out what movie is coming up. Best episode? Have to pick my all time favorite Rom Com “Always Be My Maybe”. If you are looking for a first episode, start there!

Great podcast! I listened to the episodes almost all day at work for a few weeks until I caught up! Perfect to listen to during the day and to unwind with even if I haven’t seen the movie recently! I would love for you guys to do: While You We’re Sleeping, The Wedding Singer and Blended (I know people don’t like it much but I have a secret soft spot for it!).

This podcast is great! I just discovered it a week ago and I’ve already almost listened to all of them. I love Devin and Sarah’s dynamic and their take on these rom coms is great. I suggest watching What Happens in Vegas and Sweet Home Alabama.

I also enjoy your rating system and the different discussion segments. I would love to hear y’all do a re-casting ideas segment, especially for older movies!

I was listening to a true crime pc and it was an extra heavy case. So I searched for something light and fluffy to lift my spirits…oh how I lucked out with Rom Com Rewind. I fell in love as quick as a rom com!! The dynamic between the two hosts is great. They make me laugh with their stories and debates. What started as a search for a pallet cleanser, I found myself excited to catch up on all the episodes. Because I do like to rewatch rom coms over and over again! This podcast is just like warm chicken noodle soup. ❤️ 😉
