MdenschThis one is greatThere are good auto themed podcasts and great ones. This one is great. Tom and Jill know their stuff and have a relaxed, affable style. They never disappoint.

1224NoYesNoHim Good. Her, ummmTom is comfortably soothing in his delivery and always informative. After years of listening to him on WGN, have been enjoying this. Jill, although I have tried to love her, has a voice and ticks that are like nails on a chalkboard. She’s super knowledgeable but her delivery needs helps. Fun Game: take a shot of whiskey every time she says “OK” and be prepared to be drunk quickly.

CelioR9626My favorite weekly car podcast — by farVery entertaining (at times quite humorous) and informative car podcast for regular mainstream car lovers. Tom and Jill have great banter. Not too industry hardcore, yet you always learn something from each show. An easy listen.

KevLJenUsed EV Prices?I listened to your latest podcast on used EV prices, how they’re dropping, and how people shouldn’t be concerned. I think you’re missing the point. You say that there’s a good warranty, which is true. You say batteries won’t deplete to 10%, which seems a little off. The fact is, whether they drop to 10% or not, they’ll need to be replaced eventually. Perhaps you’re even misleading people by saying we shouldn’t worry about buying a used EV. The fact is, eventually, whoever owns it after 100,000 miles is going to be stuck with a battery replacement bill that could be as large as the value of the car itself. Are people going to buy a new battery? Or are cars going to get parked? This is why EV used car prices are dropping. In fact, probably the only reason. I would gladly buy a new EV. I love the gas savings and the tech. I’d buy one with few miles. But being someone who runs a car for a long time, I wouldn’t buy one with less than 50% battery life left.

Can't edit spreadsheetsInformative and fun!Started listening about a year ago and I'm now a loyal listener! I find the show to be topical, timely, informative, and entertaining, but also fun, warm, casual, and funny! It's clear the hosts have known each other a long time and have good chemistry. Every week, there is a guest who is an authority in the automotive industry. They always have interesting insights and fascinating information that you can’t find elsewhere. Plus, the quizzes at the end provide audience engagement on the auto industry, and the bonus question always brings Tom’s signature comedic style. Overall, this podcast is a good time that’s loaded with substance. Five stars!

IndyBoilersLove Tom and the other two amigos. This is the highlight of my Friday night. (How'd THAT happen!?)... Damon has the most impressive life away from cars, at least by all the things Tom notes in the opening minutes. Keep it up guys. I love the trivia, the games, the comraderie. I wish I was your friend.

RichC.USLocal Chicago area content, but still great automotive informationTom Appel’s well prepared podcast puts voices to the ConsumerGuide Automotive website authors and their daily social media content. He and his panelists/guests include just the right amount of lighthearted banter and trivia, making the “car stuff” easy to digest.
