I’ve listened to every episode of the Minnmax show since the beginning! The computer loving cohorts have assembled a great crew full of vast insights ranging from gaming journalism experience, video game lawyer insight, video essayists, game store owners, gaming collectors and gaming marketing/PR experience. MinnMax has done an impressive job of recruiting a unique variety of people that bring interesting perspectives from all over the games industry. They often rotate this crew in and out so that every episode has a different dynamic, that makes each one interesting to listen too. They do a great job at covering weekly news topics that gaming fans should know about while also getting to spend a good amount of time reminiscing on whatever random topic happens to get brought up, with fun segments that even include some listener participation. They keep a good amount of professionalism in their talks, but still manage to feel like friends just chatting. There’s something for everyone here including community questions that lead to interesting rabbit holes and diversions. You even learn something worth sharing at the end with their “get a load of this” segment. This has become my favorite gaming podcast. I’ve been listening since day dot, and have really enjoyed its evolution over the years. The cast is a wide and diverse set of personalities, providing a variety of angles and opinions on games and the gaming landscape at large.
