In a world full of outside distractions this podcast has been a godsend for my daughter. She just can’t stop listening and she’s learned so much about American politics in the process.

I loved this podcast and the first season was so great but the second season is so boring and I immediately lost interest.

Fun, informative, and entertaining. The characters are great. Perfect for middle schoolers. My wife teaches mid school and the kids love Fina!

Our bright, curious, spunky young heroine is a natural born detective who finds herself on an adventure to solve the mystery of a “Demon Cat”. We meet her family, her new friends and we learn a lot about the U.S. Capitol, it’s history and inner workings. Good fun for all!

My kids were disappointed with this podcast. We listened to all of season 1 to give it a chance. But pacing was slow and there wasn’t really a true mystery as we had expected. The Mendoza voices were whiny and hard to listen too. Really wanted to like this.

I’m hooked! Listening to Fina’s adventures and being with Senator Something (the cute pooch) — and all the engaging characters in Fina’s world— made me forget about Covid 19 for the whole time. Honestly, if you need to step out of this scary world and into another one for a while, listen to Fina! You don’t have to be a kid to get a kick out of this well-produced story.

Having read the book, this is a very fun adaptation bringing the characters and the sights of DC to life! It also completely stands on its own without having to read the book. Hope to hear more Fina Mendoza mysteries as there are certainly many more secrets she can discover in DC!

This podcast was OK. It kept our interest, but a fair amount of the content is only appropriate for an older child. One of the later episodes spoils the Tooth Fairy so avoid if you have younger kids.

Out of all the podcasts my son has ever listened to he thinks this one is “the best, marvelous and extraordinary!” He wants more seasons and is bummed there is only one. “I NEED MORE FINA!” He says. As for me, I love that the main character is a 10 year old Hispanic girl and that there is some Spanish in the podcast. I also hope for more seasons!

This podcast is awesome, educational and enjoyable.

This is a unique kids’ podcast that’s basically a radio play, broken up into chapters, like a book. Well produced. Entertaining. Great idea if you’re heading out on a road trip with kids or want something fun for them to listen to while you take them to school. Fina is the curious little girl whose imagination sometimes gets the best of her, reminiscent of Ramona Quimby in the Beverly Cleary books. Plus, you get a little history/poli sci lesson thrown in!
