What a great podcast for religion nerds like me — those of us that are fascinated by people who believe and interested in how religion makes itself felt everywhere in our lives. A must-listen for all religion reporters and religion scholars alike.

I love this podcast! The thought-provoking themes and fascinating conversations get me through my day, and I love listening to the interesting perspectives that it brings to light. All podcasts should be like Sacred and Profane, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

As a follower-worshipper of the historic Jesus, the Christ, I treasure these perspectvies which lay bare, one by one, the idiosyncrasies of faith vs. American white culture. And more! Christ is exalted by those who are unafraid to "go there" and thus embrace and affirm believers and seekers who don't fit in sqarely with the above, dominant culture, but are yet created in His Image. #imagodei

Sacred & Profane is the best and most original podcast out there on religion, religions, and the religious. It should be required listening for anyone interested in the myriad forms of religious expression across times and spaces and the roles that religion plays in the modern world. Creative and timely.
