May have teared up when the first episode hit my feed at the beginning of the year. Going through this unbelievable season alongside Dylan and Eric has been the best of rides and I am undoubtedly a more knowledgeable basketball fan. Knowing the UCSD team better than several of their fans sitting near me in the round of 64 was a testament to how good Dylan and Eric are. Subscribe to this and UMHoops immediately.

Analysis doesn’t get much better than this. LOVE listening to Dylan and Shapiro get into the weeds of each and every little nook and cranny in a given matchup. I listened all the way through.

As a college hoops guy, I always listened even though it was UM and MSU focused. I like the new Big Ten format. Just wish you’d take it easy on my Hoosiers once in a while :)

Used to love this podcast, then it became a Michigan centric podcast to now a new big10 format. Wish it would go back to the even split of Michigan st/Michigan

Used to be a fairly balanced look at both teams. Now, it’s more of a Michigan podcast with a few takes on Michigan State as an afterthought.

Well Brendan killed the podcast out the gate. No thanks.

I’m a picky hoops fan that considers myself more knowledgeable than most. What I like about Brendan and Dylan is that they mix up detailed analysis while keeping it light, like its just two friends drinking beer and talking hoops (which often happens here as well). Their analysis can range from simple eye test to detailed analytics. It’s a really good MSU/UM/Big Ten pod for this day and age.

Thoroughly enjoy the insight, depth of knowledge and clear passion that Dylan and Brendan bring to basketball in Michigan. I know the sport and these teams better with each episode, and it’s hard to ask for more from a podcast. Enjoy

Just finished listening to a 2 hour deep dive on the conference in October, and I couldn’t be more ready for the season to start now! The hosts are hilarious and informative, and I love that they discuss all of the big ten teams.

Latest pod is a must for any self-respecting B1G basketball fan. Minnesota and Nebraska breakdowns were easily the best content I’ve heard in a long while. Keep it up, Brendan and Dylan!

As a relatively new basketball fan, this pod has completely changed the way I watch the game. The dynamic between Brendan & Dylan is great, and the banter is always entertaining. There’s no better basketball podcast for Michigan/MSU fans, same could probably be said for the big ten at large. Keep up the good work!

This pod makes me sound smarter than I am when talking about basketball.

Been a fan of Brendan’s work for about 2 years now. Love his pod with Baumgardner. As an out of town Michigan athletics fan (I live in Connecticut) the thing I crave is daily content, especially before and after games. Listened to this for the first time prior to the game vs LSU. As thorough a review of a game I’ve ever listened to. The pod after the win was fantastic and I immediately signed up for UMHOOPS. Too much of the stuff I can get out here podcast wise, like The Ticket, feels like a UM propaganda show. They say ‘we’ a lot. Not so with these guys. This is two legit journalists breaking down a team as professionally as possible. Good stuff. Only regret I found it this late.

This podcast a must listen during the college basketball season!

I’m a casual basketball fan, but work in media, and actually listened to this twice ahead of the LSU Michigan matchup. That is partially because, with Livers out for M, this is a hard game to predict, but also cause the analysis was really solid. Kudos.

Hey guys, really enjoy both your work on the Athletic and UMHoops. Therefore the pod is awesome to listen too, and hope it continues for a long time!

Brendan and Dylan are a great pair for a podcast. They’re conversational, they’re fun, and they tend to razz each other a bit. They’re also objective in their views of each team—they won’t hype up or sugarcoat just because they cover them. They’re a good mix of analytics and old school basketball knowledge, and the fact that either understands each other’s hypothetical scenarios is downright hilarious. Seriously these dudes are a good listen and are knowledgeable about ball in general.
