    Overshadowing guests
Would be much better if host didn’t talk over and interrupt her guests. It’s almost not tolerable once you notice. Please let them tell their stories, we don’t need to hear about you!

    Trip review
Trip reviews are awesome! Host needs to learn not to talk over her guests and not make it about her *eye roll*

    Favorite Trip Report Pod
Love the podcast design, host, and guests! Perfect trip podcast!
  • Fantasmicfanatic
    Why 2 episodes?
This show used to be somewhat tolerable, the fast forward option came in handy when she had her obnoxious husband on. Now that you’re releasing trip reports as 2 episodes is ridiculous. Hard pass.

    Great for Disney Planning People
I enjoy this show as someone who loves to Disney plan. Hearing different scenarios sometimes helps me expand my horizons and sometimes confirms my own priorities. I love the questions that Julie asks that get into the nitty gritty Disney details.

    Funny and informative
I’m looking to plan my family’s first trip to Disney, and found this podcast. My favorite episodes are the ones with Julie’s husband, “tech nasty”, because he pretends like he doesn’t know anything about Disney, which forces her to step back and explain more of the basics. Helpful for a beginner like me. Plus their back and forth is funny. I would enjoy more “back to basics” episodes geared towards a first-time Disney vacationer. (It seems like most of the trip report guests have been to Disney multiple times). Some of the audio quality on the trip reports isn’t the greatest, an area to improve on. Overall a great listen though!

    Great! Informative
I listen to one other Disney podcast and this one is so great too! Julie is a fun conversationalist and I love listening to people’s trip reports! I’m even binging old episodes since I have no upcoming trips. Love the podcast, keep it up!

    Awesome
Julie is a fantastic host, just love this podcast… the trip reports are detailed, fun, and positive… one of FAVORITE podcasts for Disney!

Great Before & After a WDW trip
So many great tips and funny banter! We’ve been back from WDW for a couple weeks now and I’m still listening. This podcast helped me prepare for our trip and lets me relive some Disney Magic while at home. The trip reports really enabled me to plan out which rides, restaurants, and experiences we wanted to try. I especially love the episodes with TechNasty, Julie and Kurt are hilarious together. Anyone planning a trip to Disney World should listen to this podcast!

    Julie is great…
The trip reports and podcasts hosted by Julie are truly fun and informative. If her husband is included in the recording, though, they are unlistenable. He’s the attention-seeking class clown who constantly interrupts the smart girl who is trying to make a point. It’s really a shame because I’d like to listen to every episode but end up having to skip every one he’s in. Julie laughs uncomfortably at his “jokes” and tells him he’s on a roll while trying to get back to the topic. It’s hard to understand why she allows him to share airtime with her.

    It’s Addy (again)
Julie you just keep getting better! Every time that I hear your voice I’m like OMG I feel like I’m going to Disney. I’ve listened around different Disney podcasts and have never found one I liked as much as yours. You’re amazing! P.S. My brother Chip is always asking to listen to the episodes withTech Nasty 😂😂😂

    My favorite Disney podcast
Love this show so much. She keeps it real, but doesn’t just go negative for sport. Feels like real life. Tips and reviews are super helpful and it’s nice that she talks about cost in a “normal” way. She (and her husband) are also quite funny.

    Awesome Disney Podcast!
I love listening to Julie tell us about Disney World. You can tell she loves it, and I think she does the best job of sharing tips and news, while sprinkling in some trip reports. I’m always excited when a new episode airs!
  • Sarah Y 1985
    The best Disney podcast
I would venture to say this is the best Disney podcast…and I listen to them all. I find it entertaining and educational. I love that she has increased the amount of trip reports, but still has other fun episodes sprinkled in between. I recommend giving them a listen - if you love Disney or want to learn more before a trip, it will be time well spent.

Good podcast but the sounds have to go!
I enjoy this podcast, the hosts and the content are great…but I can’t stand the constant use of sound effects! I get that it’s funny to the hosts, but it’s not fun to listen to at all. Maybe limit yourself to two per podcast? Lol. It makes what is otherwise a really good Disney podcast almost unbearable.
  • MamaClips
    Love this podcast!
Julie and Technasty are hilarious! I just listened to the animal kingdom diarrhea story and laughed so hard I ruined by eye make up. Y'all are great!

    Wealth of information
Julie’s podcasts are a wealth of information when planning. Her trip reports are always fun to listen to and really help get a feel for realistic pacing in the parks. Fantasy resource when planning.
  • TLWhiskers24
    Lots of detail
I really appreciate all the detail in the podcast. She asks lots of questions and goes through the trip in an organized fashion. It makes it really useful.

Disney commentary with a sense of humor
I started listening to Double Your WDW because I’m planning my family’s first Disney World trip and was overwhelmed. Julie’s tips have left me feeling much better prepared - commentary on individual rides, ordering delivery groceries to save some cash, and how to optimize systems like Disney Genie+. What I didn’t expect was the hilarious interplay between Julie and Kurt, her husband, a frequent guest. Listening to these two is like having your favorite friend-couple over for game night - nerdy and tons of laughs. Come for the solid Disney tips and stay for the “Tech Nasty.” (You’ll see.) I’ll keep listening to this podcast long after my Disney trip is over.

    My Favorite WDW podcast!
I’ve tried listening to a number of WDW podcasts in preparation for my trip later in 2021, and this one is my favorite by far. Serious tips with a humorous attitude, I love the way that Julie speaks with expertise but with careful and clear explanations for newbies who don’t know all the lingo and whatnot. I anxiously wait for each episode. Love this podcast!

    Amazing updates and tips
My husband and I are going to Disney World in two weeks and I've been binge listening for about a couple of weeks now and you guys do such a fantastic and entertaining job with updates on COVID...and dare I say masks! I get more excited every time I listen to this podcast for our upcoming trip. Keep up the great work!

    Disnerds Unite!
I am a total Disney nerd and love to listen to podcasts of people who frequent the park since I can’t make it as often as I wish I could. I love how honest Julie is on the budget of planning your trip (especially with kiddos) and insider tips. As a parent myself, I find myself laughing so much at her and Tech Nasty’s quips. Speaking of Tech Nasty - I live, LIVE, for the sound effects. Keep upping your game! Thank you for entertaining this mom who wishes she could be in WDW more often! I adore listening to this show!

    Engaging Podcast and Very Helpful
I am planning my first Disney World trip, and I found this podcast, and it is the most helpful podcast out there about what to expect. In the age of COVID, they update with new changes happening in the park. I highly recommend!!

    Enjoyable show!
I guess I’m an Elster stan because I also listen to Kurt’s Shopify podcast. I just really enjoy listening to these two! I feel like Julie is super relatable and fun, and I’ve gotten some great info from her.

    So Helpful
I’m leaving for Disney soon and have never been before. This podcast has been so helpful to stay up to date with the parks and plan out my trip. Will continue to listen even after my trip for sure! p.s. Also Leaving a 5 start review to combat those who are leaving bad reviews because the host support masks

    Quality WDW podcast
I started listening to this podcast at the end of 2018 and quickly became hooked! There are many Disney podcasts out there but here is why you should try this one: 1: Family perspective- You don’t have to be a parent to love WDW (or this podcast) but many of us are. She is a mom with small kids and shares the tips we need to know to be set up for success. 2: Length - not to be negative, but some podcasts go on and on with lots of fluff and nothing helpful. Most episodes here are about 35 minutes long, which allows topics to be covered thoroughly and it’s all quality information. 3: topics- Julie titles each episode so you can easily find the information you want. She has lots of knowledge and shares tips and tricks in a clear, easy to understand way. Her shows include unique information that I haven’t heard elsewhere. 4. Guests- Julie regularly has guests on her show to mix things up and share other perspectives. From travel agents to trip reports they are fun and helpful to listen to! 5. Resources- the podcasts stand alone. But if your interested, she also has a Facebook community and website with more information. Overall, I find this to be a high quality podcast from someone who knows her stuff! She is enjoyable to listen to and helps take the stress out of WDW trip planning!

    I’m here for Tech Nasty
Disney World is ok, but everybody really only listens to this podcast for Tech Nasty. He’s Julie’s husband but everybody calls him Tech Nasty and easily the star of the show.

    perfect!!
Julie is a fantastic host!! I just found this podcast and have listened to an embarrassing number because it’s that good!! great tips and loving the humor and encouragement added by Kurt 😃 thanks for all of your work in putting together such a perfect show!

    Excellent Disney podcast
This podcast is great! Julie provides so much information in fun and exciting ways. She reviews information again so I don’t have to scramble to write things down. I am more prepared and excited to visit Disney from listening to her podcast!
  • karajeanpowers
    One of my favs!
Julie’s podcast is my favorite Disney podcast! She is real, funny + I can relate to her! Her hubby joins her occasionally on the podcast, they are a perfect team + I end up laughing out loud! Keep them coming Julie!!
  • Adventure Family
    Informational, but only pre-covid
I used to get a lot of great information but now it is primarily them complaining about their COVID related opinions.
  • Zeemunee
    Too much Covid talk...
Used to be better ore-Covid. Now they spend a portion of each podcast complaining about people not wearing masks, people not staying home, no social distancing, and how crazy people are for venturing out. It’s gotten to be a bit too much.

Fun , funny, and lots of info!
This podcast is amazing. Fun trip reports to bring Disney home with me. Real tips for planning. And lots of fun conversation. This is my top podcast!
  • givmemoney
    Informative + Funny!
Julie provides great insight on planning your vacation! Her guests are knowledgeable and relevant, and I often find she covers topics that other Disney podcasts don’t. Great listen!

Great tips and relatable Disney planning
Julie hosts a fantastic podcast and shares excellent content from the parks. I feel like the tips she shares applies to families, single people, adults, kids, and anyone who loves planning trips to Disney World! Love that she touches on so many aspects of Disney travel including runDisney. Highly recommend for quick episodes with awesome info!
  • Autumn-in-Jersey
I really like this podcast ...
I appreciate all the good tips, so helpful. One thing I disagreed with was in episode #75 it was suggested to make 2 separate breakfast reservations to help deal with park opening changes. I get how this is convenient however it is not very nice to hold up 2 reservations when there are other families who may want to also book a reservation at that restaurant ...can you imagine multiple families holding 2 breakfast reservations ?!? Not cool.

I love this podcast. This is a great resource if you are planning a trip to Walt Disney world or even if you are just a fan. Her tips and trip reports are fun to listen to. And Julie is so relatable. She’s a Disney fan and mom sharing her experiences and I really appreciate when she shares her expert opinions. One of my favorite podcasts to listen to!!

    Fun, informative, and addicting
I've listen to every episode of Double Your WDW: The Disney World Planning Podcast and I've loved every one. Each episode is super informative and fun to listen to while driving to work or going for a jog. I've learned so much about the parks and also have gained so much Disney knowledge. Julie has great topics and keeps the listeners engaged. Totally addicted to this podcast!

    What a gem!
Julie is amazing! Ive been about 35 times in my 32 years of life and Julie has a perspective that is unique yet soooo familiar to me. She speaks to the first time visitor but gives veterans something to chew on as well as lots of new info as we head into a changing WDW these days. I really could go on but Ill stop and sum up: listen now and become addicted!
  • JRW678
    Good listen
I really enjoy this podcast. The only criticism I have is how quickly you talk. I only say this, bc I’m currently planning my trip. I try to take notes while I’m listening, and I find myself having to skip back a couple of times to catch what is being reported.
  • Funnnnnnnerz
Really good, with one minor issue
Overall, I am glad that I found this podcast, as I can never get enough Disney trip reports. I enjoy listening to her show and the trip reports that she does. I do feel like the host has a bad habit of sometimes interrupting her guests, almost finishing their thoughts, and using a lot of filler words like “yeah”, “right, right”, and “uhhuh”. I would just find the podcast more enjoyable if she would not do that. But all in all, it’s good, and I will continue to listen to the trip reports to get my Disney fix.
  • kathrynmarcie
    Great resource
I’ve listened to several WDW prep pods and read blogs, logged tips, etc and I keep going back to this podcast. Everything I need in one place and explained in enough detail for a first time WDW tourist planning a trip with small kids. I have no doubt we will have a great time due to the help this pod has provided.
  • brettsky72
    Perfect for planners
My wife and I had not been to Disney in 20 years and were taking our 5 year old twins in July. The trip reports have been great to see how a variety of types of people (personality and family size) planned their trip and follows up to see how that worked out. This podcast helped us in preparing and also keeping expectations in check so we would enjoy the day and not get stressed. I find myself listening after our trip to compare vs. others and make notes for our 2020 trip! Let me know if you need a July trip report!
  • souvenear.wdw
    Great Disney Resource for First-Timers
So thankful for this resource! My own Disney business (@souvenear.wdw) is aimed at being novice-friendly, and Julie is great at keeping her information comprehensive and realistic. Grateful for the brevity of the episodes and for not talking Disney Disney Disney just for the heck of it. Truly helpful!

Best podcast and website out there for Disney World trips
This podcast is fantastic, as is the website. When I first started trying to plan my family trip to DW, mostly what I felt was overwhelmed. There’s so many websites and brochures and videos about it I didn’t know where to begin or how to break it all down into a manageable seeming trip. Someone recommended her website, and from there I found her podcast. She breaks everything down into manageable bites, and offers specific tips based on her own (many) trips to DW. I’m really glad I found her website and podcast. The best part about her having both is that I can plan my trip through the links on her website, and then I can listen to her tips on this podcast driving to and from work during the week! These two different ways to learn and plan really help me figure my family trip out so much faster and efficiently. I’m going to get her e-book next.
  • Chippydippy
    Great info
Stumbled upon the podcast (not even sure how!) and was pleasantly surprised! I’m a mom of three as well, and appreciate hearing her opinion of Disney with kids (a lot of the other podcasts I listen to come from the prospective of people with no kids, or maybe one or 2). Lots of good info, tips, and love the trip reports. Worth the listen, for sure!
