Thank you for the hard work you do researching and presenting. I have enjoyed listening through all the episodes and am looking forward to future episodes too!!

It has been disappointing to see multiple instances of this show laughing at and making excuses for racist and homophobic content under the guise of “Oh, it’s all just meant as a joke.” This podcast is deeply disrespectful to queer listeners and listeners of color. They fully acknowledge that they are being bigoted, and openly laugh about it. Christmas deserves better than this.

As a fan of Christmas music in general I actually collect CDs and albums it is so interesting to hear back stories and just interesting musical notes on the different songs.The commentating is really good.

I found this podcast last year in November. Became a fan right away. Duane has made great podcast and I love the music played during each episode. The only complain is only one per month. Keep them comin.

Duane does an excellent job with this merry delight. I’ve added many new songs to my Christmas playlist from his suggestions.

I love all the different versions of songs and hearing about their back stories. Keep up the great work.

This podcast has an entertaining mix that includes recommendations of various versions of Christmas tunes (also from films), comments from listeners, interviews with musicians and singers, a Battle Royale feature that pits carols and songs against each other...it’s all infused with a sense of humor and unabashed love of all things Christmas. The host includes recommendations for other podcasts and encourages social media interaction. It’s got a super cozy feel, and I can see it carrying the holiday spirit throughout the year.

To be honest, I wasn't super sure about this one when it first started. However, after getting the first few episodes under his belt, I think Duane really settled in and found the voice of this show. I listen to a ton of podcasts, and with most of them I am happy to see a new episode, but I don't really anxiously anticipate it. Tinsel Tunes, though, has become one that I eagerly await the next episode dropping in my feed. I even enjoy the episodes about music I don't know, or from movies I haven't seen. I love the segment counting down Duane's top versions of the featured song. So far the Bing Crosby deep-dive has been my favorite episode - that is definitely going to be one that gets an annual re-listen. Highly recommended for those who love all Christmas music!

This show is a gem of an experience. To be fair, I'm pretty sure that Duane and I have considerably different tastes in Christmas music, but that has not dampened my enthusiasm for this show one bit. I enjoy Duane's enthusiasm, voice, and the way you can feel his joy through the speakers. If you want to learn more about your favorite Christmas standards, explore the music of your favorite movies, or find some new songs for your Christmas playlist (you know you have one), this podcast is a definite "Subscribe."

I'm a fanatic of all things Holidays related and I have to say I really enjoy this podcast. Duane's knowledge of Christmas songs paired with his amazing research make for a truly clever podcast that's fun to listen too all year long! Give a listen once and you'll be hooked!!

Great idea for a podcast. Catching up on some of the olders ones. Listened to Episode 13 Holly & the Ivy. Annie Lenox version of The Holly and the Ivy on her A Christmas Cornucopia album would be on my top 5 along with as you listed Mannheim Steamrooler & Roger Whittiker. Short and sweet but one of my favorites, an excellent addition to the list of Holiday Podcasts, especially if you're a fan of CHristmas music like me!

I can’t get enough of Christmas music. This podcast is a good fix when I’m getting the Christmas music urge. So much knowledge and so much fun!

Duane has put together a marvelous new Christmas podcast that explores songs of my favorite seasons. His comments are insightful and informative- and also lots of fun! I always feel like I’m sitting down talking to a friend about my favorite song. An added interest is that this podcast comes from New Zealand (or was it Australia? I’m so sorry I can’t remember!) and it is interesting to get a perspective on Christmas from the opposite end of the world, where a white Christmas would be a very unusual site indeed. If you love Christmas and like to celebrate it year round this is the podcast for you!
