I don’t want to listen Andy’s butthurt droning on about what the president is “feelingl” or “thinking” or “he’s not doing it in the right way”. Andy is coming off like a guy that didn’t get tapped for the big show and can do nothing but criticize from afar.

To counter balance this podcast I listen to Mark Levin so that I may arrive at my own conclusions regarding all things Trump.

Andrew McCarthy has lost Credibility. Trump was abused by the Democrat corrupt courts and was almost murdered, but POTUS should just leave all people in their same positions and forget all they did. Do you want the lunatic leftists which you side with, to finish what they started? You also want rapists and murders to remain in America to continue raping and abusing women and children!! 😡 You are broken sir.

Used to enjoy the discussion but something has happened along the way (TDS?). Never remember him standing for the rule of law against the Biden regime but now thinks EVERYTHING should be decided by Courts. That’s not how America works as we have 3 equal branches of government. Lowry has now fallen for it too. National Review is falling apart.

Andy has a great way of explaining legal matters in layman’s terms. Thank you.

McCarthy is not a Trump fan and that's fine. But, he frequently allows his biases against Trump to interfere with his delivery of the facts. Just recently he supported Judge Boasberg's order to block deportations under the Alien Enemies Act. In his recent podcast, McCarthy ignored venue issues and material facts concerning Trump's authority under the Act. This evening, the Supreme Court correctly reversed Boasberg, dealing a serious blow to McCarthy's credibility. This is not a one off incident for Andy and I am losing confidence in him.

This show, like The Editors, has gotten so anti-Trump that I can’t listen anymore. No matter what good the administration does it’s never enough.

I never miss an episode of the MaCarthy. Andy McCarthy is the best at explaining complex, legal and national security issues in an easy to understand way. I also enjoy his wedding and humor. Rich Lowry is a great host.

Andy does a marvelous job of evenhandedly helping us understand the current political morass. Currently my favorite podcast. Update: Andy is still an astute legal mind worth listening to. I have listened to all of his episodes since inception. He has a moderate case of TDS that occasionally flares to severe; snide, condescending, and occasionally gratuitous asides are sad and intermittently offensive. I think it grates on him that his very definitive pronouncements that Trump would not and could not win were so dramatically wrong. It hurts your objectivity, Andy. Your disdain oozes through continuously. It comes across as petty.

Why should we trust never-Trump Andy? He’s just as blinkered as Bragg and Jack Smith. Drapes himself in the flag but is just a hack. So tired of the sports talk at the beginning of each episode.

Great show, listen to it all the time. But where did all the old episodes go?? I can’t seem to access anything before October 2024. I wanted to go back and listen to a few of them for reference. Bring them back!!

Even discussing Jan 6th pardons without talking about BLM riots, Biden death row pardons, Guantanamo plea deals, Clapper or Brennan or FBI informants is a level of dishonest and obnoxious I got zero interest in ever hearing from Andy or National Review again. Zero credibility

To be fair, I think Andy thinks the DOJ is mostly good but led by the wrong people. That’s out of touch. The DOJ is corrupt. Matt is there for one reason…well 2.Number one..he’s there because he’s loyal to Trump. Number two, he’s there because he won’t get bent over and steamrolled like every other Republican does. How have the last three Attorney General been? Exactly. Pump the brakes and judge by what happens and not buy your idealistic thoughts.

I always appreciate McCarthy’s intelligent and insightful analyses, even when I disagree with them, and especially the clear and straightforward way he explains things without the slightest touch of legalese.

How disappointing that Andy decided to use the label the MAGA base a personality cult. Much like the tea party movement, MAGA has many people from all walks of life who see issues similarly but who also prioritize those issues differently. The overarching theme is for there being a priority to put American interests first over foreign interests and re-establishing traditional American values. There will be fringes to any political movement. Try to be a little more specific and not as flippant when trying to make a point about a political point you were absolutely wrong about from the beginning. (Trump being unelectable the second time)

This is only listenable when Rich Lowry is on with Andy.

You guys should do an episode about Republicans prosecuting republicans. All these shows are about the Biden Justice Dept going after Democrats…over and over. It’s just Democrats prosecuting Democrats. Can you find a case where a Republican AG goes after a conservative?

Love listening to Andy and Rich every week. Andy’s experience as a former prosecutor is invaluable and is excellent at explaining complicated subjects.

During these times of lawfare / impeachment / investigations / SCOTUS rulings - this is the one “can’t miss” weekly podcast. McCarthy is by far the best governmental and legal analyst out there today. I think he is fair and objective and is a rule of law guy - keep it up as the MSM won’t cover it objectively.

He is so annoying and thinks he is cute, the guy must wake up every morning and kiss his reflection. McCarthy is great very informative and insightful just dump rich

Andy McCarthy’s legal analysis of the questions of the day is a voice of clarity and objectivity among the sea of legal analysts that serve their own agenda. Andy’s analysis helps me make sense of the legal mess in which we all find ourselves.

Andy is a hack who dresses himself up as an intellectual conservative. At the end of the day he is just as prone to falsehoods, half truths and out and out, lies as any right wing outlet. Don’t let him fool you he is disingenuous and a liar Every criticism of Jack Smith’s conduct with regard to the Trump indictment from what is mentioned in the indictment to the press conference. He gave to his efforts to seek a protective order is the exact same conduct that US attorneys engaging in every single high profile case in this country. And Rich chooses to be critical of it. I would love for just once. To actually have the coverage. Courage of his conviction, and make the statements when they affect every day people and not This piece of trash attacks brag for being too aggressive and prosecuting Trump, but now once sedition charges against the college protesters? Hey Andy, you piece of trash why don’t you try to have some intellectual integrity and not argue in one breath that the government is overreaching against Trump and then advocate for insane overreach. This is the most worthless podcast I have ever listened to.

Could only get through half of this week’s episode (#254) because it’s the same as last week’s episode. Did you just dub Rothman in over Rich? As Andy has said, he tends to go on and on about stuff he goes on and on about. I like listening to his insights but sometimes the repetition is too much. Also the minutiae can be tedious. Do I really need to know the _exact_ date a trial or decision was made some years ago?

I enjoy listening to the Podcast. Andy is undoubtedly very knowledgeable about the law. However, PLEASE STOP SAYING, “INCOMPARABLE SARAH SCHUTTE” at the end of the show. Do you have to stroke her ego every time? Good grief! It’s so annoying.

I love Andy, but he’s wrong on the polls. Biden has been in the same range for a long time. Trump has gained (see RCP average history)

Andy certainly is insightful. But as our nation careens toward open lawfare and a loss of judicial impartiality, Andy just says “this will be interesting”. This is our country man! Did you know you live here? Do you care? This isn’t a bad flag in a football game, this undermines the pillars of our nation. The will of the people. And also this is why people hate lawyers. Most would argue lies for money. Andy does it because he thinks it’s interesting.

McCarthy used to sound reasonable and fair, even if I sometimes didn’t agree, I felt he was logical. I don’t know what happened to him but he has lost the plot. “I’m not trying to excuse January 6th…” and then he proceeds to try and excuse the insurrection that was attempted on January 6th. I guess everything that Trump touches really does die.

I am still trying to digest the evolution of the censorship consortium that was detailed. Would value your legal analysis and thoughts on whether this is even possible.

I expected authentic analysis of politics and national security. What I’m hearing is avoiding the facts and finding humor in very dangerous subjects. When are you analyzing the risks to our democracy. As a moderate conservative, I’m concerned. Hope the country can wake up before it too late.
