Honestly, I don’t think there’s any other podcast better than this one. As a raving Zelda fan, I searched and searched for the perfect podcast, and I found it. I have listened to every episode of the podcast, multiple times. I do have a question: do you think that a Switch 2 version of Breath of the Wild is worth it? Especially considering that the original was already overpriced… 😢 Anyways, if I could I would rate this podcast 1000 out of 5 stars. And PLEASE read this comment in your episodes. Hello David, Kady, and all the other staff at Another Zelda Podcast. I have been listening to your podcast since April of 2024. It is one of the first podcasts I’ve ever listened to, and I have to say, I am impressed with how it has been organized and all the wonderfully fun and relatable hosts it has! Thank you David, and everyone at AZP for making such a wonderful podcast! I have been a Zelda fan since early 2023, the year after I got a Nintendo. My fandom grew quite quickly after I played BOTW and TOTK. By the end of 2024, I had beat Skyward Sword, Minish Cap and Zelda 1 (at the same time), Ocarina of Time, and Majoras Mask. I am currently playing A Link to the Past and Adventure of Link, they are both enjoyable in their own ways, Lttp with its thick lore, and Zelda 2 with its satisfying (sometimes) difficulty. I love your podcast, and have awaiting Season 7 since July of 2024. I am really sorry for how long this is, I’ve been wanting to write a review for you guys for a while. Hello! I am 16 years old and I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while now. I love everybody on and it’s a great place to listen everything Zelda. I was wondering if you’ve ever heard of a theory on the Internet about who ocarina of Time link married. The theory goes that Link married malon and they pass down epona’s song, which is why link from twilight princess, who is the descendent of ocarina of time link, already knows this song. It’s super interesting and It makes a lot of sense! I love this podcast so much and ever since I started listening to it a couple years ago I’ve loved it! Sorry, this is a long! Just finished listening to the recent Ocarina of Time episode and I wanted to plug a fanfic for anyone interested. @Kady I feel like this story might particularly scratch an itch for you. Rose Zemlya’s “The Return” is a big what if adventure that follows Link, the sages, etc, after time is reset at the end of the game. The world building is masterful and really fleshes out the Hyrule that we all love.

Love the pod. I grew up with the console Zelda franchise and have loved every title(except for 2). When BOTW came out, I had mixed feelings. In fact, after finishing, I immediately started up another play through of Twighlight, my favorite Zelda game. I felt the same with Tears, but after listening to the border line annoying level of positivity on your podcast, I started another play through of BOTW, and…. Am really enjoying it. I’m taking it slow and just walking around, taking it all in. I had forgotten about the dragon wrapped around the mountain which was a great moment. So thank you for forcing me to play this game the way it was intended. I’m gonna try Tears again next. Okay, fine, I like BOTW.

I love this podcast sooooooooooooooooo much I love Zelda one of my best friends got me into TOTK when it came out but my parents made me beat botw first. Then I tried both the oracle games, links awakening and links awakening dx, the og, adventure of link, link to the past, and skyward sword hd. I was on YouTube and searched for Zelda podcast, not expecting results, but instead I found the podcast. I’ve been going back and catching up, but I have jumped around some. It’s a good thing to listen to while doing homework and hanging around the house. I shared it with my Uncle, hoping he would enjoy it as much as I do. Keep up the good work guys. New message: I’m so glad that you finally added a new episode! I was getting worried there for a minute. 😅

I’m a life-long Zelda fan, and have been listening to your podcast since at least 2020 (possibly earlier). Really enjoy the content, and I especially like top-ten favorites episodes. A recent caller on the Skyward Sword Characters episode was asking about controller options for the Nintendo Switch Online 64 games. I had similar difficulties, but found an easy solution that I wanted to suggest. I recommend getting a GameCube controller for the Switch. They’re pretty cheap, just about $20 or so at Walmart. For me, it’s worked pretty well for 64 games on Switch. The control stick has a similar feel to that of the 64-controller. And when playing Ocarina of Time, you can assign weapons to X and Y buttons (which correspond to c-left and c-down). The biggest drawback is using the C-stick to play the ocarina, but I found it manageable with a bit of practice. With minor adjustments, it is similarly compatible with other games. So I wanted to share another option to help others enjoy classic 64 games on the Switch.

Hey guys I love this pod. Don’t listen to anyone who says this pod is bad in any way. My friends always wanted to play Fortnite with me, and now it’s really nice to get back to Zelda. Also I love the music episodes. Zelda music is AWESOME, and Koji Kondo is an amazing composer. I just started Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask, and the first two games I played were Botw and totk. All the games are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite Zelda song is either Song of Storms or Clock Town. Keep it up guys! 💚💚💚💚💚💚

Please talk about the remake of links awakening, especially make an episode about the amazing music. The music episodes are amazing and please do more. I would also like to see the music of spirit tracks and a link between worlds because of the actual musical instruments playing a link to the past music. This is by far the best Zelda podcast and has made me want to play more of the games.

I still love the podcast. The fact that you are getting so many guests in you episodes amid crazy to me. I am still working on Tears of the Kingdom, I am almost to the end though. I also got the links awakening remake like you suggested.

I started listening to this podcast a couple months ago because I was really enjoying Breath of the Wild and was craving any and all Zelda conversations. I started listening from season 1 and I’m now in the middle of season 3, and I could not be more pleased! Listening to this podcast feels like chatting with friends about one of my favorite things. Not only that, but it has also inspired me to collect and play some of the older games and remakes. Since starting this podcast, I’ve picked up copies of Link’s Awakening DX, Oracle of Ages, and Minish Cap all for the GBA. I also just got a GameCube for Christmas and the Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition, so I finally just started playing Ocarina for the first time! I don’t have much time to game bc adulting, but I’m very excited to experience this game for the first time, even if it’s only for an hour at a time. Thank you to David and Kate and to the entire roster of wonderful guest hosts for creating and upholding such a positive community and for inspiring me, as a new-ish Zelda fan, to dive deeper into this vast and rich universe! Me and my sister love the legend of Zelda! We got a switch at the beginning of 2023 and every Saturday we would play Mariokart. Then my friend told me about breath of the wild and I thought it looked cool so I got it. Me and my sister quickly became super fans. I have played pressing the wild, Skyward Sword and tears of the kingdom. Breath of the wild is still my favorite. Zelda has been kind of a bonding experience and I LOVE THE YIGA ClAN!!! Love your podcast and may the goddess smile upon you. UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am writing this a while after I wrote the original review but a lot of stuff Zelda related has happened. First of all we have this babysitter named REDACTED who it turns out loves the legend of Zelda! She played Wind Waker as a kid and she saw us playing BOTW one day and was like “I know that!” Anyways,i finished skyward sword and loved it but I can see why some people wouldn’t love it. Another thing is that I played Ocarina of Time it is quite possibly the best video game I’ve ever played (but BOTW is still my favorite). Tears of the kingdom was great,I played a bit of minish cap which was fun,and that same babysitter from before lent us her copy of wind waker (or windy as my sister calls it)and we played a bit of that which was wonderful,I’m only one dungeon away from finishing majoras mask but I love,love love it’s dark themes and deep ideas. Some other game’s I’ve played are Hollow Knight(which I cannot express how much I love),and outer wilds(which is the most beautiful and moving and…existential games I’ve ever played),also some others like Celeste(five stars),dredge(also five stars),and others. This podcast is great, I have been listening since early 2019 and Dave and crew always puts out excellent content. I had only beaten Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Ocarina and BOTW when I started listening and this, (and partly Tandem Legends and Zelda (Champion) Cast) inspired me to go back and beat every Zelda game (except CD-i and Tingle games). It took me around 2 years but I did it and I loved the journey and this podcast was along the ride with me the whole way. Hope it can inspire more people to enjoy this amazing series! My first Zelda game was Breath of the Wild (an amazing introduction to the series), but I have since played Tears of the Kingdom, Wind Waker, A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and Link’s Awakening. Absolutely love this podcast, it is one of my favorites! I discovered AZP awhile ago through The Zelda Cast and have been slowly listening through your back catalog of episodes. Shoutout from another Chicago/Milwaukee area local, I love when occasionally David or Kate mentions something theater related since I work in theater as a costume technician and listen to your podcast while making things in the shop. Zelda in a roundabout way got me into my theater career as well, but that's a story for another time. Keep up the awesome work!

Due to the recent release of TotK, I picked up where I left off and have caught up very recently and am anticipating the continuation of season 6! Hey AZP team, I don’t usually review, but I’ve been meaning to for awhile. This is my favorite podcast & I get so excited every time I see a new ep drop. I’ve been playing Zelda since I was a kid (since A Link to the Past) and haven’t stopped since. Thank you guys for all that you do & keeping the Zelda hype alive. Also question if you haven’t been asked before since I’m always wishing I could actually be in Hyrule myself— if you had only 24 hours in BotW/TotK Hyrule what would the schedule look like? Where would you have breakfast & who would you hang out with? Etc etc. No baddies of course because Link has already saved the day. Anyway, so excited for TotK episodes to come! Bye ♥️♥️

I’m 13 and In 2020 I got Covid and my uncle loaned my family his Wii U and it came with breath of the wild my siblings and I would fight over who got to play and then in February 2021 I got long Covid which basically means Covid never left me and my immune system’s still fighting it so my parents got me a Nintendo Switch and once again only played Zelda and then when I tried to return to school I had a lot of free time because I couldn’t do my work so I found this podcast the loz Lorecast and hello Hyrule and it has helped my journey with health problems be a lot more tolerable.

Love this show! David is an incredible and compelling host and I love when he breaks into the technical details of game creation. Kate and all the various co hosts/guests are delightful. Also, thank you David for finally helping me figure out how to beat Guardians in BOTW!! I was avoiding them like the plague because they were so hard. But then on one of the episodes (I can’t remember which one) I heard David say something about “sweep the leg” when he was discussing BOTW and guardians. That made the light bulb go off in my head!!! I immediately grabbed my switch and blew through 3 guardians in no time by “sweeping the legs”!!! Outstanding podcast and truly NOT just another Zelda podcast! This one is special.

The show is great and I just started listening to season six & listen while going to bed so I often don’t finish a full episode for 2-4 days so I am occupied with your perfect show almost every night. I started listening to the podcast after hearing David on The Zelda Cast and had to instantly follow because the LoZ holds such a sentimental place in my heart. I picked up around season 2 or 3 and after i kept hearing about this Kate person and the “Okay bye “ had to jump back to the beginning, and I’m so glad I did. Love the group you have put together and the amazing views and opinions of all. This is one of my all time favorite podcast and as I sit here typing this I am greatly anticipating season 6.
