I just about cried(well not really) when Carry said the curtains would be closing after one more episode. Loved the solid biblical views. Loved the dynamic between cooper and carry. Loved the jingles. Heroes get remembered but legends never die.

I listen to podcasts constantly throughout the day and there’s no better one for me than this one. It’s both entertaining and incredibly inspiring.

I know Barry Cooper from his work on LUTHER: THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF THE GERMAN REFORMER, and Ligonier's SIMPLY PUT podcast- both are outstanding. This has been a great discovery. These guys have a slightly different cultural perspective as Brits, yet share convictions with me as Reformed Christians. The episode with Carl Trueman was very informative, and the British accents reached critical mass. This show is a great mix of fun & serious topic discussions.

The host summed it up perfectly “come for the accents and stay for the theological insights”.

What can I say? I enjoy the mix of theology, cultural observations, banter and book/movie recommendations. The humor, British accents and obvious friendship among the hosts makes listening extra enjoyable. The negative is that it makes me long for more frequent conversations with my own friends, preferably in person and over a cup of tea or coffee (which sadly, isn’t quite happening these days but it does give me something to look forward to).

Great—two guys talking about stuff you’re interested in (assuming you’re a Reformedish Christian with readerly and perhaps comic tastes) but in the British pronunciation.

I have to tell you these two are just awesome. Comedy, teaching, insights given in such a conversational way. You can not help but enjoy it and learn. Bible, culture social issues the whole gambit covered.. Wish I had more than 5 start, a must recommend to everyone... Keep up the great work gentlemen....

Comedy, theology, deep thought, inane observations, British accents, Cooper and Cary bring it all in the format of two friends and sometimes guests talking about life and the things that matter to them.

Cooper and Cary have a high view of scripture, strong theology, and wisdom for how to apply that theology to the Christian life. This podcast is both heartfelt and amusing and always makes me think! Appeals to both men and women. My husband and I both listen to the podcast and enjoy discussing it after.

I look forward to this biweekly podcast. Cooper and Cary have refreshing outlooks on current events and culture in which their knowledge of the Bible and church history really shows. The sound effects (if that’s the right podcast terminology) are pretty epic as well 😄.

You guys crack me up. You teach me. Expose me to different thought processes. Your my people! If I were with you to talk about all you talk about, I’d cave. But from a distance, I absolutely identify with much of who you guys are. I found you through Brant Hansen. I am a misfit participating vicariously through podcasts. Thanks for letting me join in. Just found this after James Cary was on unbelievable. I’ve started at the beginning and have loved it. Reminds me of conversations with my friends where we bring up books, music, and movies we are consuming and how they relate to our faith. Keep up the great work guys.

It’s rare for me to find a podcast that doesn’t annoy me at some point or another- this one does not. It’s a laidback friend chat without the laugh track feel (or bearded hipster whiskey-drinking Calvinist personas...nothing wrong with any of that, I just hate when it’s played up like hey guys, we’re Christians and we’re cool- high five!). I’m a sucker for British humor so that’s certainly part of the draw for me. These guys are genuinely funny & have interesting, intelligent conversations about theology & all things pertaining to living the Christian life. Their doctrine is solid & there never seems to be an “agenda” except honest evaluation of scriptural principles & their own life experiences. It’s my new fave!

I discovered this podcast about a year ago and am ashamed to say i never left a review. Heard your episode on the brant and sherri oddcast and now this has become one of my favorite podcasts. I am an American and a Floridian, so i’m probably just fooled by the accents.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for nearly a year now and every episode is just outstanding. The dialogue is so exceptionally intelligent. And I’m pretty sure it’s not just the British accents that make them sound smart. Pretty sure. Seriously, every episode is enlightening, funny, thought provoking, and uplifting. Most definitely worth a listen.

I'm somewhat addicted to this podcast's wisdom, wit (and British accents). Approaches culture in light of the Gospel and provides insight into what it means to truly be "in the world, but not of it." Love that Cooper and Cary seek to better understand themselves and their motives—and encourage listeners to do the same.

This podcast has very quickly worked up to my top 3 favorite podcasts! I love the format of two friends chatting but with good things to say. It's great that they are a bit older (40's I'm guessing) so they have wonderful perspective on life and the world we live in. As a 21 year old, this wisdom is priceless. I've also been challenged to speak with more proper English, and use words like "rubbish" more often lol. Keep it up

This is exactly the podcast I’ve been looking for. I heard about it on The Brant and Sherri Oddcast, and thought I’d take a listen. The dialogue is easy to follow, refreshing, and thought provoking. Thank you for spreading your knowledge of God’s word!

A fascinating and funny look at theology and culture from two brilliant and sensible men.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed bingeing on his show over the past few weeks. The words between Barry and James are simultaneously culturally relevant and steeped in a strong understanding of scriptures and church history.

In both deep and lighthearted discussions on a myriad of topics -books, pop culture, theology- from a Christian perspective, Cooper & Cary are a delight! Always enlightening & entertaining, I find I always look forward to the next podcast. I subscribe to a number of podcasts in varied genres, and Cooper & Cary's is always at top of my "must listen" list.

Very funny, insightful and entertaining. Barry doesn’t just look like Brant Hansen, they share a lot of similarities which is great. And James sounds like a smarter and, dare I say, funnier James Corden. Great listen!

Strongly recommend you check out this podcast. These gentlemen take Christ and the Gospel very seriously but don't take themselves too seriously. A rich blessing.

Engaging and thought provoking conversations between two Brits on details concerning Christians and their understanding of the Bible. Their wide variety of topics have already covered ones I have wondered about and others that have never occurred to me yet.
