Despite any claims they like to make, these guys are the best that magic podcasting has to offer. They’ve got excellent insight into commander as a format, shaping the game we play to be how we want to play it, and all of this while being hilarious. I highly, highly recommend.

Short thing: Love these folks. Hysterical, thoughtful, and a perspective often not heard. Commander at the end of the day is suppose to be fun, and these guys exemplify that. MAIN POINT IS I’ve been listening for a bit, but it wasn’t until they made a statement on BLM that I felt I needed to talk. It was a small shout out, but a deeply appreciated one. We need more allies in this moment. Racism is a international problem. If this small comment is enough to support these guys or get them noticed by whatever algorithm promotes them, it would have been worth it.

This podcast is exactly what I want from an EDH podcast

Before CCO I used to think that life had no meaning and that everything I did was utterly pointless. I still do, but there is 45 minutes to an hour each week where I slip the bonds of this mortal plane and my conciousness is elevated to new levels of understanding. It teaches me the meaning of life and shows me janky combinations in the format we know as EDH. Thank you Ryan and Brando and please keep blowing the minds of CCO Nation!

I love hearing about all the cards I missed when I had a life for 10 years and didn’t play magic. Building crazy brews is what these guys are about. Now all of their decks can have the same commander in Morophon and I already plan to build god tribal and lord tribal with the new shapeshifter lord because shapeshifters are godly and benefit from all the lords.

This podcast is incredible! You get a breakdown of the most incredible jank decks out there. Great for strategy and inspiration. If you listen to one commander podcast, this should be the one!

The reason I gave this podcast 1 star is because I would take every star I would ever give to any other podcast and make it into to a single giant singularity star! The guys are that good. There more science behind my review that I don’t even understand! (I don’t know anything about science)

One of the better commander podcasts for new and veteran players alike. The deck techs and general banter make you feel like they are part of your play group. I always find some inspiration from these guys as they bring new and spicy ideas to the table.

The guys at commander cookout put out the best commander content every week not too long not to short just right. They’re sense of humor is amazing and the cohosts have great synergy and the decklists they come up with are amazing and out of the box. 10/5 would recommend jump into the commander cookout podcast and never look back

Spicy factor 100, great commander podcast

I love that these guys take care of their sponsors, giveaways, shoutouts, and news quickly at the beginning of each episode, and then they get straight to the topic at hand. I’ve unsubscribed from several other MtG podcasts because of the nonstop shilling. It helps that these guys are hilarious and their deck advice makes sense. They describe the kind of Commander Magic that I fell in love with, and they keep me always thinking about new brews and strategies. Great podcast!
