I love the stories of the saints and the chance to recollect on a virtue every day. This helps me build a real connection with the Church.

While I haven’t had the opportunity to listen to every single episode yet, this podcast certainly edifies my day with the new addition of daily mediations, and I’ve been catching up slowly by listening to the back catalogue, one episode at a time, every day. Currently working through the apologetics series to strengthen my faith when faced with non-Catholics in my day to day life, but I’m anxious to get to the Mass series and beyond. 2/23/25: Adding that the daily devotions continue to be helpful and inspiring. I’m hoping to add the tradition of choosing a saint for the year on the feast of St. Valentine next year!

AMDG I am writing this on February 15, 2025. The most recent episode of “The Catholic Mass” in my feed is episode 12 from October 18, 2024. It was stated on The Daily Devotional today that we are up to episode 25. I wanted to make it known that The Catholic Mass episodes are obviously not updating in a timely manner. I would love to listen to these shows because your content is always excellent. God love you and thanks for all of your efforts.

I absolutely love listening to this in the morning on the way to work, shopping, gym etc! Perfect for some early morning motivation!

The first thing I listen to in the mornings while making coffee and getting ready for the day. Things you should hear and learn for every Catholic.

Beautiful to listen to. Calm. Informative. Reflective. Meditative. I love that it follows the liturgical calendar. An excellent early morning start to the day, though I do wish it was out by 6 AM Eastern daily (we are Mountain Time). We are Fraternity parishioners but feel a great love and debt of gratitude toward the Archbishop and Society for preserving Western Catholic Tradition.

I like that it isn’t too long but includes previews that I can go listen to when I have more time. Love the quotes - can you reference the page to where the quotes are taken and adapted from in the show notes? Just received his book The Spiritual Life and would love to read more from the daily quote. The meditation readings are really cool too as well an intro on what today is. I’m new to TLM and Catholic Faith, So a huge blessing. Thank you. God bless.

What a great way to wake up every morning. A great alternative to pulling your hair out from listening to the secular news.

Informative and traditional teachings of the Catholic Church. Suggestion for a timely delivery: Try doubling up on the broadcast just once to make it truly daily, habitual. Then it’s sure to be on time with no posting delays, no matter what time zone. The daily readings and reflections would be available at the very start of the day, becoming the goto every morning, complete and reliable. Keep up the good work! An excellent traditional Catholic podcast that focuses more on learning than on controversy. The two series on the Crisis and the Sacraments are both great, in particular the episodes by Fr. Wiseman. Very clear, well-researched, and calm. Great job guys!

The content is excellent! Unfortunately, you can’t incorporate the “Daily” Devotional into your morning routine because it is sometimes late in the day and sometimes doesn’t come at all. You’ll need to find a different source for something consistent.

I’m a cradle Catholic, but very devout, ex-Franciscan friar. I’ve been formed very well by general standards. When I met traditionalists and talked with them about the state of the Church, I couldn’t respond well to the SSPX critiques of the status quo. Four years later and they attend an SSPX chapel, and I’ve listened to oodles of episodes of this podcast. I’m still cautious to attend an SSPX chapel, but I firmly hold that the best formed and most intelligent, virtuous priests are likely to be found in the society. Their critiques are intelligent and warranted. The Church needs to take them very seriously.

The sermons do not seem to show up on the podcast page. Is there something I’m missing or is there a delay for some people not getting them?

We are constantly bombarded with “important”worldly news every day. This is such a good reminder of what the Church really wants us thinking about each day.

Keep it all daily devotionals, dedicated topics like the dangers of modern tech and all the sort. This is my fight against modernism. Saint Pope Pius X pray for us.

The Daily Devotional is so helpful in staying touch with the daily liturgical spirit and feast days, especially for those of us that don’t have the option of daily mass

Excellent! Deeply informative! The interviews start with the neuropsychology of social media and builds from there in a calm and balanced fashion. Every adult should listen to this series.

The star rating is for the Daily Devotionals, NOT the entire podcast. I think the podcast series since the Crisis in the Church series have been phenomenal. The Daily Devotionals could be improved by moving along more slowly and having less jarring music between each section. The music isn’t very conducive to reflection. Overall, it’s too choppy for me, but I prefer longer meditations in general, so this may just be personal preference. What I would love to see is more audiobooks available like the They Have Uncrowned Him. That was incredibly useful for reflection as well as for my husband’s Holy Name Society chapter to use for their monthly reflections.

I just found this and am learning to navigate it but I’m giving it 5 ⭐️ because I came from the Utube version of Open Letter, half way through, and it’s fantastic. Yes, I do believe that I have struck gold, the motherload❣️

The Crisis in the Church series was excellent. For me, it was perfect for learning WHY the crisis is in existence today. More importantly though, I feel I have more clarity on WHAT the crisis is. I recommend it if you would like to no more about the crisis in the Church, as well as what we can all do to help in turning the crisis around.

I will change this review to 5 Stars after I have said my piece. “Open Letter To Confused Catholics” should be (I think) a podcast unto its self. I listened to xyz episode 1, but after the episode is over it goes to an unrelated topic (based on date I suppose). Then I must search “full” episode list which is a mishmash of confusion. Might just be me - but I listened to chpt. 1 and unfollowed until I can figure it out. I can gladly recommend the SSPX Podcast to my friends, but I cannot Share the “Open Letter” series.

This podcast is wonderful. In a time of immense confusion within the Church, this podcast offers clarity and doctrinal orthodoxy when it is most needed. Wether or not you attend SSPX churches or not, this podcast is Illuminative and a must listen for all!
