    Energy Cast
Great show, less political and more tech and industry based than most energy shows

    Classic
Jay, I’m quite impressed with what you’ve done with this podcast. You’re ol friend JD...

Quite good, but so many missed opportunities...
Excellent, informative, timely topics and guests, but the host never asks the hard questions — particularly about fossil fuels. For example, Jay Winberg’s laughable contention in Episode 90 that the US can cut emissions by shipping our “high-quality” coal to “low-quality” coal burning countries on the other side of the planet went unquestioned — as did API’s absurdly over-optimistic production forecasts in Episode 87. The knowledgeable and thoughtful host seems as interested in making friends with industry guests as genuinely interviewing them.

    Engaging View of Energy Technologies
Jay has a great platform to showcase different energy technologies being worked on. He conducts a wide range of interviews with CEOs of startups or leaders of established orgnizations. Each episode gives a glimpse into that sector of the energy field whether it be efficiency gains from producing ice for home and commercial AC units or major concentrated solar power projects in key desert locations. I have enjoyed as each episode unwraps another energy technology that is fighting for a place in our grid.

    Accessible, entertaining, informative!!
This is now my favorite podcast! Jay is a great communicator and interviewer, and he gets great guests on a wide range of interesting topics. I now have real insight into stuff I always wondered about, like flywheel energy storage and using lightning for energy. His fair and open-minded approach is a blast of fresh air in our increasingly polarized media. Everyone should know about this awesome podcast!

    Great show
The shows hit a variety of topics relating to the energy sector and specifically the renewable energy side. This podcast hits on some really great technologies/methods that I had never heard of. It’s a great podcast if you are looking to have an introduction, or overview, of this area. Also, the host is seems pretty unbiased in his interviews.

    Great Energy Podcast
I really enjoy the interviews with people in various Energy related industries. I especially enjoy the diverse range of topics, interviewees and Jay’s style. This is the first energy podcast I’ve found without a personal agenda, focusing on facts and opinions of guests. You should try this one out!

Well-Balanced and Professional Look at Energy
No matter which area of energy you are interested in - from traditional to renewable - this podcast shares insights from people who are transforming the industry. The interviews are professional, and ask the questions on our minds as listeners. The interviewees are the pioneers who are developing innovative technologies, as well as seasoned veterans, and media who are on the pulse of energy transformation. Always a great listen!

    Really Engaging and Professional
I had the pleasure of interfacing with Jay to set up an interview with someone from my company for one of his recent episodes. He was so flexible, professional, and patient with us and our schedule. I was really excited to listen to the finished product and was impressed by his genuine curiosity and insight into the energy industry and ability to ask interesting questions and spark a conversation that was very fun to listen to. I think his voice and presentation is dynamic and I couldn't believe it had been almost 25 minutes when the podcast finished, because I had been so engaged. I actually almost never listen to podcasts, but I think I've been hooked. Just wishing all the best to Jay and Energy Cast moving forward. Jay, you're doing great work and I know many more listeners, like me, much appreciate your unique approach and getting an opportunity every week to learn something new in such a great way!

    Awesome!
Great podcast! So nice to finally have an unbiased podcast on new energy technologies. The host is engaging and conducts a great interview--very conversational without following a question by question format. Highly recommend!

    Unprofessional
Content and dialog lack depth and intellect. Production is very unprofessional. Feels like listening to a middle school project.
