Mississippi Dave 333Hey Come on…High promos… I didn’t… Sean’s rejoinder… These dudes know what’s up. The scorn of Honkey Tonk man alone… it is all we ever needed. This is good clean fun. ❤️ Been listening from NC for a looong time. Thank you for the entertainment and amazing content!

kevster9961Great, easy listenI’d typically never admit the existence of this thing, but Pete and Keithie are a very fun listen. Some fun bits, non-wrestling chatter, sports talk. Thanks for the hours of entertainment.

Deadhead-Dan10Finally got around to checking out……”Little Petey” after hearing OVP plug GFA for 100th time and I’m glad I’m did. It really is a great show and easy listen. Guessing we’re close to same age so the references mostly land. Good stuff! UPDATE 10/22/23: Listening to WM 5 part 1 ep…not sure about that Keith guy and some of his takes (Demolition much bigger pop than Road Warriors…Gorilla not really liking Ventura…good thing Pete’s there to set him straight!)

Totten-AuthorPuts me in mind of John McAdamStick to wrestling is my favorite rasslin podcast, this one has a very similar feeling to it. I will be listening. Good stuff and greetings from the Poconos.
-
ProducerBenI love it soI would do favors for this podcast. The Elizabeth vs Jack Tunney a la Bad News Brown kind.
-
ericgreenbayBest of the bestI listen to all the wrestling podcasts and this one is my favorite ! It is funny and really brings wrestling fans down memory lane to their childhood ! Great chemistry between the hosts ! Awesome !
-
CharlieCasterGood 👍🏼You guys are very funny reflecting back in the good old days of WWF!
-
Larry F 13Awesome PodcastI love the way Peter & Keithie dive into the minutiae of classic WWF programming, interspersed with the drops & references you’ll grow to love. It’s a great wrestling podcast but it’s just an entertaining podcast, period. One second, they’re talking about Gorilla Monsoon. The next, they’re talking about random movie dialogue or some oblique hockey or baseball reference from decades ago. It’s truly an ADD sufferer’s delight - and I mean that as a complement. And when I think about great broadcasting duos, with apologies to Ventura & Monsoon, they’re the closest thing to me to Jerry Remy & Don Orsillo in their prime. We got down. We got up. We got funky. And we got bad. Keep up the good work, fellas.

Spiralizer1I’m sorry, JimmyGFA is an incredible show and I look forward to it like my mother looks forward to whatever it is that older ladies are into. Pete and Keithie feel like old friends at this point and I’d offer up a kidney to either of them if they needed it…or just wanted it. The show rewards long time listeners with running jokes and drops and all that. Just download it and enjoy. C’mon, huh?
-
sofa king niceSofa king great showI’ve been listening to Pete for 170 episodes now and I guess it’s time to provide social proof of that by leaving a 5-star review. My personal time is valuable so I usually spend it listening to wrestling history (my past) on Pete’s what I’ll call his journey. I hope it continues - with Keithie of course because that MFer is a joy. Cheers!
-
BeaverBeaver135Good show! This is a very fun show that would likely be even better if Peter was more focused. I get it, that's his style (tangents, sports lol) so I understand if he's just going to always.. be that... It's cool! Helps the day fly by and can be pretty funny. Update - i still like this show but it's not the same with only being GFA live lately.
-
didiask012Shine on meeee! Can I get an Amen? I don’t know if you know this, but this is the best podcast today. Love these two, it reminds me of my brother and I talking old wrestling/movies/pop culture. Look forward to it every week.
-
cusimfk😁I can’t stop listening to these podcasts 😁. Thank You guys.
-
Junkyard DragonThey’re probably more clever in personNot nearly as funny or clairvoyant as they think they are.
-
Mmullen1980Great showGreat show

Kayfabe2001The boys cure my mood! The only way this show could be better is if it were produced in Japan so I can give it seven stars! Pete and Keith join up to look back on old wrestling, plus the occasional movie here or there. I highly recommend GFA Live to anybody!
-
JPD#50My favorite PodcastI’ve listened to other rustling podcasts and nothing cures any mood better than GFA Live. The boys bring me out of the deepest places sometimes, for that even the Meltzer rating of today would go 5 stars! They are the best!
-
Tally uh oh8 Stars!!Best podcast because it’s not just wrestling. Peter has a very similar outlook on life that I have. He and Keithie are very funny together. I originally gave it 9 stars, but am docking one for getting rid of “crazy crap from my mother’s house”.
-
RkabsLord Alfred BlazePeter and Keithie provide perhaps the easiest listen in podcasting. Two guys who have been friends for a long time and kinda awkwardly finish each others sandwiches. Also I keep meaning to send this in but my first wrestling experience was the 1990 “that’s Tony Atlas!” Taping and I was like 12. Two older kids came and sat behind me and said the wrestlers were hanging out in the back and my friends ran to go see them. It was Dino Bravo and Kerry Von Erich trying to score weed from teenagers in the smoking area of Hershey Park Arena. That was my introduction to the business. That’s my origin story for this podcast. #darksideofthering #themoreyouknow #canthavethatinthisjoint (is the outer banks trip available on peacack?)

JimThai890Stick to wrestling.Keep on the topics about wrestling. Too much politics. OK you hate Trump.
-
ahalanichaAhalanichaIf the Beavis impersonator who laughs after each sentence during the live show fades into obscurity where he belongs, I will enjoy it much more
-
Mairs1976Social ProofAs a fellow New England resident, I love this podcast! Peter Winson drops plenty of references from central and northern NE that I am lucky enough to fully understand. The wrestling covered on this feed lands exactly in my personal “sweet spot”. The criticisms of the political rants are silly, Peter is only telling the truth and speaking common sense. I also am confused about the negative comments regarding the cohost on GFA LIVE. I enjoy Keithey!! If you enjoy 80s and 90s wrestling, this show is for you!!! Two thumbs up and five stars!!!
-
AnthonySCoronaA real unconscionable ball breakerAbsolutely fantastic! Funny and always entertaining. Love Peter going all over the map all the time
-
twinspar2001Great podcast when politics are left out of it.Peter is knowledgeable and extremely passionate about old school wrestling. He also has a fantastic sense of humor that conjures up many laugh out loud moments. Unfortunately, like most liberals, the host is utterly incapable of keeping his politics to himself. While I don’t really care which way people lean politically, I turn to things like wrestling podcasts to get away from life and especially politics, even if it’s only for a few minutes. Politics has literally contaminated EVERYTHING else these days. Movies, sports, music, and video games are just a few examples. Is really too much to ask that we not get it crammed down our throats in an old school wrestling podcast too? I’m sick to death of all of it, and I know a lot of people feel exactly the same way. It’s ironic that Peter whines about Adam Corolla alienating half his audience just because he no longer clings to the left wing talking points. That works both ways Peter. Lol.
-
Bucky749Enjoyed the show .Both shows GFA AND GFA live are both enjoyable . You might want take a look at power pro wrestling Or this week in wrestling as I don’t think you’ve covered any of those promotion. Or maybe for a GFA live you could check out on of the wcw mtv specials .

Dave O, NY, NYGem of a podcastThis podcast is fantastic. Great audio, insight, humor and production. Refreshing to hear a podcaster who's remained consistent in terms of his vibe since the beginning. Feels like so many other podcasts of a similar ilk ultimately become ad-heavy and redundant, causing me to lose interest over time. Peter does it purely for the love of the game. Happy to provide what is known as social proof that this is my favorite wrestling podcast.
-
TrivTrivLots of funSpeaking specifically of the old Coliseum Video reviews: These guys are very clever and extremely likable, and often laugh-out-loud funny. Be warned: If you're not an early-to-mid-40s American guy who's into classic WWF (like the hosts, and like me), you might not get, oh, 90% of the cultural references. (I personally appreciate the quotes from late-'80s SNL sketches.) But if you are one of us, this show is hard not to like.
-
AlexanderDaGr888FantasticThis is a great podcast about old wrestling with a healthy dose of sports trivia. Peter is easy to listen to and extremely knowledgeable. His love of cats and Bret Hart makes up for his love of Boston sports teams. He’ll also call out his co-host’s ill informed opinions on drummers if you send him an email. What more can you ask??
-
Dino Bravo's Side SuplexOne of my new favoritesI recently discovered this podcast thanks to the fellas at OVP. To say I’m hooked would be a serious understatement. I have not laughed this hard in a long time. As much as I love the solo weekly review, the live GFA shows are ever better. This covers two of my childhood obsessions: the Best of the WWF series and the Karate Kid Part 2. And the Goodfellas references definitely don’t hurt. Highly recommended. But what do I know about the podcast business? All I know is how to sit down and listen. Time to go back and listen to some more. No talking!
-
irishdave23Interesting Comments, Nonetheless! This is one of the better wrestling podcasts out there. Peter brings his pro wrestling insights week in, and week out. Thrown in is a fair amount of sports, pop culture and politics. The GFA Live podcasts with Keithie are great, as well. The people who are leaving poor reviews need to relax. Pro wrestling should not be taken seriously! It’s a welcome divergence from everyday life. I’m able to look at a favorite part of my childhood, from a different perspective, thanks to these guys! Would love to see a little more ‘85-88 AWA. It’s so bad, it’s good.
-
Sean SmackAlmostThe premise of the show is brilliant. The host is not like able.
-
adameiseySocial proofVery mixed feelings. The original feed is my favorite retro wrestling podcast. Great weekly variety, well researched and prepared, fun mix of humor and nostalgia. The newly added weekly “GFA” series is somehow the worst, by far. The co-host adds nothing but shouting horrific impressions followed by awkwardly giggling at it at high speed. Unlistenable. Five stars for the original, zero for GFA.
-
Cletus the Clobber CheezecakeFun show, thumbs way upI stumbled across this while looking for pro wrestling podcasts dedicated to older years. Each episode tends to include sports and pop culture discussion from the time period of the particular show at hand. I recommend you give it a shot if this sounds at all interesting to you.
-
LJ RomanoffGiving up - too much off topic personal rantingI liked this show for a long time, but Peter’s insistence on dragging his personal issues into every episode has poisoned my enjoyment of the show. It’s unfortunate, because when he actually focuses on vintage wrestling he does a great job - it’s just not enough to keep me subscribed.
-
ChynabearieHeck of a showLove the random episode selection of the show. Peter does a great job by himself , I don’t think people understand how hard that is to accomplish. Love the sports inserts into the episodes. A joy.
-
SpayspayThe cut of your jibI like it!
-
paintgun wizardGreat podcastYes Memphis!! Thank you
-
Mitch LeeryGood Idea, Bad ExecutionI really like the idea for the show, but the execution is poor. The host is borderline unlistenable. Maybe create a second podcast for the rambling personal monologues and keep this one about the wrestling show being reviewed? The run-time could be cut in half by removing the uninteresting tangents.
-
Mike PruMore social proof!I’ve been listening for about two years, I’m embarrassed I haven’t posted a review, I could have sworn I did! I learned of this unique show from the Our Vantage Point Retro Wrestling Podcast. Peter Winson does an excellent job blending retro wrestling, humor, pop culture references, and personal musings from the time periods that he covers. This podcast is highly recommended “and that’s the bottom line!”
-
JennyPositionSocial proof!Greetings From Allentown has quickly become a must listen podcast every week! Keep up the great work Pete!
-
dammit tommyQuality EntertainmentHeard this show recommended on the Booking The Territory podcast and decided to check it out, am I glad I did. I love the mix of sports topics new and old and all the pop culture references. I had to listen to all the available episodes since discovering the podcast.
-
heyheyhey1129Really pleasant surpriseThis show would always show up on my recommendations and I always just blew it off. I’m glad I finally listened, been binge listening ever since. Great show 👍 that end song gets in my head every time and I start singing it all day long 😡

CK (D.Johnson)Great StuffYou'd be making a cardinal mistake by not listening to this great podcast. I love how Peter jumps around years, decades and territories. I'm still catching up and listening to the back catalog (into the 110's). As a former New Englander, I love the local references and heavy sports talk. Keep it up, it brings me back home. Some CWF or USWA/WCCW...with Eric Embry, would be interesting.
-
chintloczyn98156Brightens My WeeksMissing out on this podcast would be a cardinal mistake for a wrestling podcast veteran.
-
Eric EellsFunny & InformativePier does a great job of doing reviews of a single episode of a wrestling promotions TV show every week. Goes into a deep detail history of everyone involved and has just some wicked asides that make me laugh.
